Evelynn, Myria, the slave Six-Headed Hydra, the subservient Nine-Headed Hydra, and the young Nine-Headed Titanic Hydra, none of them could comprehend what had fully happened and were at a loss.
Evelynn and Myria couldn't understand what was going through the Young Master of the Nine-Headed Hydra Greater Realm's head. Was it an elaborate plan to decimate the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy from within? Or was it just purely for collecting the ingredients?
If so, why was there a need to commit genocides? All for that 'vengeful' nonsense? Weren't other methods available?
The slave Six-Headed Hydra couldn't understand why he was defeated there. He had faced numerous battles in the last six million years across the galaxies' Upper Realms and Lower Realms in order to collect the twelve unique ingredients, but he hadn't ever been defeated.
He planned everything meticulously, waiting patiently, using at least a hundred thousand years to obtain each ingredient, although some were obtained way quicker.
If Empress Hexena Xylusc hadn't fled into the First Haven World, he wouldn't have needed to wait four million years. It maddened him, but he was still patient. There was no other Emperor-Tier Chromatic Hex Arachnid from what he heard.
To that end, he had Mystic Diviners working day and night and relay a fake prophecy to the First Haven World and had the people there hunt down the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid Clan as well, driving them mad, all for that to obtain a 'vengeful' soul.
There were accidents. They were unable to send out the inheritance site into the void, which would've caused it to exit the First Haven World. Instead, it got stuck within some unknown area, making him mad again.
Finally, the inheritor appeared, but it turned out to be the Divine Emperor of Death's first wife. At first, he was still smug, but then, the more he heard about the Divine Emperor of Death's feats, the more he felt that he shouldn't mess with him.
Still, he had the backing of a Greater Realm behind him. Who cared? As long as he could obtain Evelynn's true soul essence and escape, how could the Divine Emperor of Death possibly catch him?
Then the Covenant happened, making him joyful. He knew Evelynn would eventually visit the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid Clan.
She did indeed come, so he quickly moved the forces quietly. But on the way, he heard Empress Hexena Xylusc was revived to his shock.
He had his doubts, but how that happened wasn't important. He quickly changed his plans, waiting for Evelynn to leave.
It took so much effort on his part, and he felt like he was going to be rewarded when he finally saw Empress Hexena Xylusc but that damned Evelynn appeared from nowhere with a spirit that was capable of using a Supreme Law, Decay Laws, and that ghost spirit itself was highly resistant to illusions. It instantly caused his powers to be negated, making him spit blood inwardly.
Even if he couldn't win, escape would be easier but he had been suppressed.
The Quaking Earthflame Lion also spoiled his plans when she smashed open the void and sent his corrosive water attack into the void.
Each step, he was countered, and that led to his defeat.
Still, he was loyal, never thinking of running away with the Hell Poison Gem's forged treasure. He did as he was instructed and safeguarded it for millions of years. He actually never had it on him, always hiding it in a secretive place where he was near but also not far. Only during this occasion he felt like he needed the treasure to store the true soul essence and bring it with him, but he had lost the battle, and the forged treasure went to the winners.
He was beyond furious but also didn't act out since pain swelled in him.
However, he didn't lose confidence. If the other party recognized that their opponents were rulers of a Greater Realm, surely they would understand what was better for them, no?
On the other hand, the servant-master duo knew of nothing.
Where was the that damned slave? Somewhere in the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy? That's not much information. Was he still alive? Had he chosen to betray and escape with the treasure? After all, only the slave seal has disappeared. It usually meant two things: the slave had died, or the seal had broken. There was another case where the seal couldn't be sensed anymore because it moved to a place that couldn't be sensed, but that was a totally different feeling from not sensing the seal anymore.
A Nine-Headed Titanic Hydra's senses couldn't be fooled easily.
All that said, Evelynn and Myria were left to deal with the aftermath.
They were unsure of the next steps to take.
They felt like exposing this Six-Headed Hydra and proving the innocence of the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid Clan and even bringing glory to the Davis Family. After all, they caught a spy from another Greater Realm with the Hell Poison Gem's forged treasure that could probably decimate a huge part of Upper Realms with ease.
Even the Heaven's Warriors would be ashamed that they hadn't seen such a threat.
However, that would mean exposing the Hell Poison Gem's forged treasure.
What are the chances that the Celestial Transcendent would personally come again and demand it with utter compliance? If they refused, then they were sure it wouldn't go well for them.
Myria was sure about that. Even if her old face wouldn't help in this regard since this was a destructive treasure from top to bottom. It will bring the deadliest poisonous plagues, decimating the human race and further plunging them into internal war for resources and external war from invaders.
So it became a matter of which was important for them to hold onto.
The innocence and glory or the treasure?
"Hmph! Even if you complete it, it's useless to you. Only a Nine-Headed Hydra can possibly withstand the hell poison fused from the Six Dreadful Poison Insects and the Six Grand Nightmare Poison Insects. It belongs to our young master!"

It was true the hydra race all possessed poison resistance to varying degrees but it generally increased across the board when climbing ranks. If this was truly the Hell Poison Gem's forged treasure, then she could understand why anyone couldn't use it.
Even for Davis's black-white stone, not anyone could use it.
However, she didn't lose heart one bit.
'Guess it's time to absorb annihilative heavenly poison then…'
Evelynn inwardly heaved a sigh. She put it off, not wanting to be over-strained when she had children to take care of. She couldn't possibly be feeding them milk with annihilative heavenly poison. She guessed she could never breastfeed if she had any kids in the future unless they were born with some kind of heavenly poison physique that no one had ever heard of.
Besides, she was unsure if she could control the annihilative heavenly poison's aura. If it spread, it could poison people just by standing beside her.
But now this treasure appeared, she felt it was worth a try and straining herself. She was a Divergent, but now, she guessed she would become an Anarchic Divergent after absorbing annihilative heavenly poison.
"Still not giving it back?" The slave Six-Headed Hydra growled again.
However, he quickly removed his senses since the two monsters were glaring at him.
"Evelynn~"
At this moment, a melodious yet wrathful voice echoed.
Evelynn and Myria turned to look back and saw that it was none other than Empress Hexena Xylusc.
She had come to take revenge on the Six-Headed Hydra.
