Evelynn shook her head and hugged her, comforting her.
"How moving." The purple-robed man spoke, his voice amused, "Two true soul essences are better than one. Although I would need to offend that calamity, I guess it is not something we need to worry about."

Ancestor Morten looked horrified as he raised his head while still kneeling.
Were they going to offend the Divine Emperor of Death? That was a death sentence nowadays. He had also seen that apocalyptic flame spirit from the projections. If that struck them like a meteor, their Minor Realm would be destroyed within days.

The purple-robed man chuckled wickedly. His figure flashed with a dark purple light, and he abruptly began enlarging, his head splitting into six.
In a few seconds, he became a gargantuan hydra with six sleek, scaled heads, each emanating a tremendous aura of dark power. His dark scales shimmer faintly with illusions that distort his surroundings. Each head carried traits of his poisonous, illusionary nature, and his body stretched to over two kilometers while his heads extended out even further, overlooking with a wicked, menacing gaze.
The tremendous might of a Level Nine Empyrean Beast surged out, causing everyone to be shocked. His prowess would surely be at least one level higher, which might make him difficult to deal with even for the Azure Tree Realm Master.
But seeing how confident he was, they figured he had some kind of treasure or, even worse, that his prowess was higher.
The Six-Headed Hydra grinned with all six heads, "How about sleeping with me and making the terrifying Divine Emperor of Death a laughingstock of the world?"
His voice reverberated across the entire asteroid region in an echo.
Evelynn abruptly raised her head as her third eye split open, radiating a crimson light.
"Don't listen to him! He's provoking you to fall into his trap. You cannot fight a soul battle with a Six-Headed Hydra!"
Empress Hexena Xylusc quickly made her turn around as she still held her, "He wants a vengeful soul. Otherwise, our true soul essence should be quite useless to him."
"Tch." The six heads simultaneously clicked their tongues, generating a grating sound of flesh striking against each other.
"One thin moment away from getting your soul violated. What a pity~" He mocked.
However, he didn't seem to be in any hurry to make a move. The Pyraxis Ember Arachnid once again tried to surround them. This time around, they seemed to be possessed by something since their eyes were dull, but their expressions were full of rancor.

Evelynn's expression was colder than ice, but her eyes slowly relaxed.
"I see you're back to being normal."
Empress Hexena Xylusc nodded, "I'm sorry for losing myself there. I won't show any weakness again."

Evelynn took a deep breath. She had seen through Empress Hexena Xylusc's memories. Evelynn turned to look at the Azure Tree Realm Master.

She had actually become an Empyrean Stage Azure Tree already. Her cultivation speed was frightening. The Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill had various effects on certain lifeforms like Stella developing her abilities. The Azure Tree was already famed for being fast in speed and also cultivation, so she didn't necessarily think this was surprising. However, she could tell that the young Azure Tree woman was way more powerful than her counterparts, even with the increase in prowess from the pill.
