Ancestor Alissara sighed. If they only hadn't tried to fight with their inheritor, their situation wouldn't have worsened. Unfortunately, they didn't have a single healing pill that would work on them.
They were poor.
They turned to look at Evelynn, wondering if they should ask her to heal them. However, they were aware that it would be shameless, causing them to shut their mouths.
"Activate the Inverse Hex Revival Formation."

The two Ancestors obediently responded. Their backs were hunched and they turned to head back to the optimal position to activate the Inverse Hex Revival Formation.

Ancestor Alissara's lips quivered, "I think we didn't hear it right..."
"Myria, I have no one but you to rely on."

Evelynn turned to look at Myria, causing her to shake her head.
"I don't dare."
"But you're capable of separating our souls with your seamless usage of Reincarnation
Laws, right?"
Myria's lips curled into a wry smile, "It is very dangerous."
"It's so easy for you-" Evelynn giggled, "I'll rely on you, little sister."
"You're planning on getting Davis to kill me."
"Maybe~"
Evelynn hid her mouth and laughed lightly, "This is the first challenge given to you by
your big sister. Try not to fall into her trap."
Her smile faded, and she then turned to look at the two Ancestors.
"Go on. What are you two waiting for? Could it be that you don't want your Empress Hexena back, and all this was just for me to suffer for no reason?"
"We...! We'll do it!" Ancestor Alissara cried.
"Many thanks, Empress. We owe our lives to you. From now on, we are your slaves!" Ancestor Lissana knelt directly.
"I don't want." Evelynn coldly uttered.
She looked up at the formation while the Ancestors and the others gained distance except Myria, who didn't seem nervous at all.
Evelynn's gaze turned misty.
Back then, Davis had asked Empress Hexena Xylusc a question.
"By any chance, were you planning on possessing Evelynn after she completely absorbed all or most of your blood?"
"Of course not." The Empress Hex Arachnid waved her hand in an amused way, "I'm bound by an unbreakable karmic chain. Even if I am ten times stronger than now... heh... forget about resurrecting and executing my plans, for I would be captured and killed once I appeared in the outside world. However, for my heart demon who wishes for pure destruction, such things are irrelevant."

Captured and killed? Back then, Evelynn guessed it would be the World Master who captured her and killed her since she had to sacrifice the inheritor's life. That was the rule for participating in the Candidacy.
But now- the World Master is probably dead or very near to death and the Candidacy was pretty much unfulfilled with it being interrupted. Even if there was karmic burden, Evelynn felt it would be very little, not enough to affect the person or one's
whole race.
She felt Empress Hexena Xylusc wouldn't need to worry about having to become a sinner if she revived.
Therefore, Evelynn had been looking for a way to revive Empress Hexena Xylusc, but she had no idea how to activate the revival technique since she had to die to even find a spark of it, and even if she found it, it wouldn't be Empress Hexena who revived but herself, so it wouldn't work but these people were hasty which enraged her.
If they sat and talked to her calmly and obediently, she would've agreed, but they just had to be heavy-handed about it.
But still, she hadn't changed her opinion, the foremost reason why she didn't have Wisteria destroy the formations here.
And considering how Myria easily agreed to her request, she could tell that Davis
already foresaw this too, making her inwardly sigh.
