Hunting in the severe cold of the Arctic requires not only strength but more often, observation.
Here, besides some active large animals, there’s also a group of small herbivores.
The Arctic Rabbit is one of them.
Su Lin initially planned to keep up with Wolf Dad and Wolf Mom on their hunting trip, but soon along the way, he gave up.
Because he discovered several nests of Arctic Rabbits on his way.
The Arctic Rabbit, too, is a social animal.
Though not plentiful in the Arctic Circle, they’re not rare either.
Right now, there are at least seven or eight Arctic Rabbits in front of Su Lin, nibbling on the moss beneath the snow.
“You’ll be my meal today,” he thought.
Su Lin’s eyes lit up as he looked at the warren of variously sized Arctic Rabbits before him.
He knew this must be a family of Arctic Rabbits, with young ones coming out to forage.
Such groupings with young are often the first targets to be hunted in the wild.
However, he felt little sympathy in his heart.
After all, the survival of the fittest is the greatest law among wild animals.
“System, scan their attributes.”
With a thought, the attributes of several Arctic Rabbits in the distance appeared before his eyes.

With a glance, Su Lin noticed that among the rabbits, one dominant male Arctic Rabbit had the highest attributes, reaching Level 3.
Its speed was a terrifying 53, and the speeds of the other female rabbits were also very high.

The group of Arctic Rabbits was clearly on high alert.
As if they heard something, they perked up their ears and constantly scanned their surroundings, with that male Arctic Rabbit hopping and looking around non-stop towards Su Lin’s direction.
It seemed to be the animal’s innate intuition towards danger.

He lay still, quietly waiting.
The group of Arctic Rabbits noticed nothing unusual and continued to graze on the moss.
Su Lin then moved again slowly.
He stopped for a while, moved a little, stopped for a while, and moved a little again.
After a considerable time, he finally came within less than thirty meters of the Arctic Rabbit group.
There was a bush for cover in this spot, otherwise, the vigilant Arctic Rabbits would have long noticed him.
Su Lin began to conceal his presence.
A distance of thirty meters, considering his speed and the reaction time of the male Arctic Rabbits, should be enough.
He prepared for a one-hit kill, hoping to take down several rabbits before the group could react, thereby conserving more Physical Strength for chasing down the escapees.

A white streak, like lightning, suddenly charged towards an unsuspecting male Arctic Rabbit that was still lowering its head to graze.
“Roar!”
At a ten-meter distance, the Arctic Rabbit noticed the danger.
Su Lin let out a long howl and accelerated once more.
The male Arctic Rabbit, on the other hand, started to flee desperately without a clear direction.
But… with a prepared mind against an unprepared one, plus the fact that Su Lin’s speed was innately faster than that of the Arctic Rabbits.
The short distance of ten meters was not enough for the Arctic Rabbit to escape his hunting range.
Just as he was about to catch up, he fiercely leaped into the air, revealing his sharp Wolf Claws.
Landing with a pounce, the heavy Wolf Claws struck the neck of the male Arctic Rabbit.
The pounce contained 30 points of Strength, plus a 60 Speed bonus.
Let alone a mere Arctic Rabbit, even an adult Arctic Wolf would be injured by such an attack.
Therefore, as the pounce landed, there was a sound of bones breaking at the neck of the leading male Arctic Rabbit, and then it fell onto the snow, convulsing, blood flowing from its nose and mouth.
Su Lin had no time to appreciate his victory, he immediately turned around to pursue the other Arctic Rabbits.
The rest of the Arctic Rabbits had already reacted and started to scatter and flee.
However, there were several young rabbits whose escape speed was very slow.

Su Lin did not entertain any merciful thoughts, even towards the young rabbits; he pounced forth and crushed their spines with a claw.

The long howl of the Arctic Wolf, along with the scattered bloodstains and carcasses of the Arctic Rabbits on the snow, highlighted the one-sided hunt that had taken place here!
The bounty was plentiful.
He hunted a total of six Arctic Rabbits.
One male, one female, plus four young ones.
After tallying the spoils, panting and having expended much of his Physical Strength, Su Lin approached the male Arctic Rabbit’s carcass and sank his Fanged Teeth into it.
“Ding! The host gains 1 Evolution Point for consuming an Arctic Rabbit.”
Listening to the system voice by his ear, Su Lin ate even more voraciously.
“Ding! The host gains 0.8 Evolution Points for consuming an Arctic Rabbit.”
“Ding! The host gains 0.6 Evolution Points for consuming an Arctic Rabbit.”

Consuming each type of food could yield Evolution Points, but it was always at the beginning of consumption that he gained more Evolution Points.
The amount would decrease progressively over time.
Soon, after eating the male Arctic Rabbit and one young rabbit, the system alert had already decreased to 0.1.
“Roar!”

She also didn’t know that the Arctic Wolf before her was actually a cub merely a month old.
