649 Redmond Breaks Through
Tutenmu stood alone in the grand hall, deep in thought. Suddenly, he said, “Ambassador Vicar.”
“Hall Master Tutenmu, what else is on your mind?” Ambassador Vicar asked.
“I’ve heard that high-dimensional lifeforms can observe low-dimensional lifeforms and even see everything they have experienced in the past,” Tutenmu said, his voice filled with curiosity. “Is there really no way to observe the days when Wu Ming was imprisoned?”
“You are correct,” Ambassador Vicar replied, nodding. “It is possible to observe the past of low-dimensional lifeforms by following their traces in spacetime. But as low-dimensional lifeforms become stronger, the difficulty of observing their past increases.”
“Wu Ming is now a cosmic legend. His mental strength has completely transformed into Heart Realm Force. Heart Realm Force… it originates from the strength of a third-realm high-dimensional lifeform.”
“His entire body seems to be composed of Heart Realm Force! With my strength, I can’t spy on his spacetime traces,” Ambassador Vicar continued, his voice tinged with regret. “I could do so before he became a cosmic legend, but not anymore.”
“My current method of spying… is to gather all the information from all the places Wu Ming has been. For example, the fluctuations in his thoughts and emotions, the aura of his moves, to construct possession footage,” Ambassador Vicar explained, his voice filled with determination.
“There should be high-dimensional lifeforms who can pry into Wu Ming’s past, right?” Tutenmu asked.
“Yes, Hall Master,” Ambassador Vicar said. “At the very least, you can easily pry into Wu Ming’s ‘past.’ However, it’s impossible for Master to waste his time for you.”
“What about the other high-dimensional lifeforms? Is there anyone who can help?” Tutenmu yearned.
“They have to be at least at the Eternal realm or even the peak of the Eternal realm,” Ambassador Vicar gave a hint, his voice filled with certainty. “You can try searching for high-dimensional lifeforms and see if anyone is willing to help.”
Tutenmu fell silent.
They were different from humans. Humans were more united internally, and seniors guided their juniors.
However, the competition among the Void Celestials was cruel. Although Gumo had left a large number of legacies and resources to the species, a group of high-dimensional lifeforms, including him, weren’t willing to waste time teaching others personally.

I’ve seen 302 successful ways to construct a high-dimensional body, and two of them are from the Heart Realm Force lineage, he thought, shaking his head gently. But a complete imitation is a dead end.
Every living being is unique, and every high-dimensional lifeform is also unique.

The couple was focused on their work, but suddenly, Xu Jingming’s expression changed. He received a message from Secretary General Blacksky.
He tapped open the projection and checked the message.
“Deputy Dean Redmond has broken through and officially became a high-dimensional lifeform,” the message read.
Redmond did it? Xu Jingming exclaimed, his surprise palpable. After years of loyalty, including standing by the Xu family during his own imprisonment, Deputy Dean Redmond had finally achieved a breakthrough. And with the assistance of Tejano during his weaker moments, the bond between the two men had only grown stronger.
Out of all the human cosmic legends, Xu Jingming felt the closest connection to Redmond. And now, with this breakthrough, his delight knew no bounds.
“What’s wrong?” Li Miaomiao asked.
“Senior Brother Redmond has made a breakthrough,” Xu Jingming said, his voice tinged with awe. “It’s only a matter of time before the entire human race knows about it.”
“A breakthrough?” Li Miaomiao was puzzled.
“He’s become a high-dimensional lifeform,” Xu Jingming added.
“Paramount realm? The fourth human Paramount?” Li Miaomiao’s eyes widened in shock.
Xu Jingming nodded.
To the countless people in the cosmic human race, becoming a high-dimensional lifeform was synonymous with reaching the Paramount realm. However, he knew better.
How could anyone truly be considered a Paramount? Even Firstborn realm high-dimensional lifeforms had a lifespan limit. It was the weakest level in high-dimensional space, where one had to be constantly vigilant in order to survive. Death was always lurking, waiting for a slip-up.
In the history of the human race, high-dimensional lifeforms had died one after another. Only three individuals had reached the Eternal realm, but even they had fortuitous opportunities and forbidden weapons at their disposal.

The news of Redmond’s breakthrough and emergence as a high-dimensional lifeform sent shockwaves through the entire cosmic human race.
It was no secret that the birth of a high-dimensional lifeform was enough to establish a new top faction. Although these beings had a limited lifespan, it was still a lifespan that spanned an Abyssal Era—measured in billions of years.
A celebration was held in the virtual world as all factions gathered to congratulate Redmond!
Xu Jingming and Li Miaomiao approached him, offering their congratulations. “Senior Brother Redmond, congratulations,” the former said.
“It won’t be long before you become a high-dimensional lifeform as well. Moreover, his future will be much greater than mine,” Redmond replied, accompanied by his wife, Feng You, a Lv. 10 Origin lifeform from the Primordial Research Institute. She kept a low profile, having focused on her evolution.
As the couples conversed, the others didn’t dare to disturb them.
In a corner of the celebration venue, Tejano was with a group of friends.
“Tejano, your father has become a high-dimensional lifeform. Impressive,” they said.
“The only child of a high-dimensional lifeform. You can do whatever you want in the cosmic human race,” they flattered him, their envy and jealousy palpable.
Tejano smiled and said, “My brother, Wu Ming, will probably become a high-dimensional lifeform soon.”
The hearts of the surrounding friends skipped a beat. What a humblebrag!
However, this was the truth! Wu Ming’s growth was even faster than Redmond’s, and his potential was even more terrifying.
“I’m just lucky and won the birth lottery.” Tejano smiled humbly, leaving the surrounding friends green with envy.
This was no longer a simple description of ‘lucky.’ He was practically the chosen one.

At the headquarters of the Primordial Research Institute, Xu Jingming and Redmond sat, sipping on their drinks and chatting.
“Have you tied up all the loose ends with the human race?” Xu Jingming asked.
“I’ve made all the necessary arrangements.” Redmond nodded. “But I might not be able to return for a long time on this trip to high-dimensional space. If Tejano and my family encounter any serious trouble, I’ll need your help.”
“Don’t worry,” Xu Jingming promised with a nod. “I’ve got your back.”
“I heard the dean, Tower Master, and Island Lord have left consciousness carriers in their home universe,” Xu Jingming said. “Can you do the same?”
Redmond smiled. “I’ve spoken with the dean, and all the resources are ready for me, but I’ll have to create the consciousness carrier myself. It’ll take me thousands to tens of thousands of years since I have no experience.”
Xu Jingming learned the complexities of the task.

The air around Xu Jingming and Redmond suddenly twisted and distorted as spacetime fluctuations rocked the area. They both looked over in shock as a figure materialized out of thin air, emerging from the illusory river. As the image became clearer, they recognized the woman standing before them as Spacetime Island Lord.
“Island Lord,” Xu Jingming and Redmond said in unison, bowing respectfully.
“Redmond, have you settled everything?” the Island Lord asked, her gaze focused on the other man. “Once you leave your home universe, it won’t be easy for your true body to return.”
“It’s all settled,” Redmond replied, his face serious. Ever since he had become a high-dimensional lifeform, he had felt the rejection of the universe. He knew that the cultivation of a high-dimensional lifeform wasn’t suitable in the universe.
The Island Lord turned her attention to Xu Jingming, her lips curling into a smile. “Wu Ming, you need to speed up. I’ll pick you up when you break through.”
As the fastest human, the Island Lord was able to travel through the Mother Stream with ease.
“Sure thing, Island Lord,” Xu Jingming replied.
“Wu Ming previously discovered a legacy called Monhado,” the Island Lord said, turning back to Redmond. “This legacy should be very suitable for you.”
“Junior Brother Wu Ming discovered it?” Redmond exclaimed in surprise.
“Yes, this legacy is temporarily limited to high-dimensional lifeforms within the human race. No information is to be leaked,” the Island Lord warned. “Let’s go. You’ll be able to learn this legacy when we arrive on Myriad Star Island.”
A half-step third-realm legacy was too precious and wasn’t placed in the universe. Instead, it was placed on Myriad Star Island, where the three Paramounts lived.
“Wu Ming, we’ll make a move first,” the Island Lord said.
“Bon voyage,” Xu Jingming said.
“I’ll wait for your arrival on Myriad Star Island,” Redmond said before being led by the Spacetime Island Lord into the vast illusory river and disappeared.
Xu Jingming stood still.
He knew… that high-dimensional space was mysterious and vast, filled with endless danger. The three human Paramounts occupied a place called Myriad Star Island, where their bodies resided.
High-dimensional lifeforms born from the human race headed there as well.
High-dimensional space, Myriad Star Island. Xu Jingming thought to himself, looking forward to the day when he too would become a high-dimensional lifeform and be qualified to head there.
