454 Lunardo and Tejano (1)
In a scenic spot on a private planet, Tejano was drinking and chatting with a fatty. Not far away, waiters were focused on cooking.
“It’s Lunardo,” Tejano said to the fatty before accepting the transmission. Prince Lunardo appeared on the projection in front of him.
“…He even said that he was your friend. He doesn’t even take me seriously by counting on your reputation!” Prince Lunardo smiled. “I wonder how someone of your status got to know such a lowly kid.”
Prince Lunardo continued, “Even if you knew him in the past, you must’ve been deceived by him! Tejano, do you want me to help you teach this kid a lesson?”
“What happened?” Tejano’s expression didn’t change as he asked in confusion.
“This Xu Jingming is a Lv. 7 cosmic lifeform from a weak civilization. He thinks he’s impressive just because he has some talent. Moreover, because of his relationship with you, he’s extraordinarily arrogant. He doesn’t even take me seriously,” Prince Lunardo said. “Although I took umbrage at his comments, I chose to contact you! I have to confirm if he’s your friend! If he’s your friend, I’ll naturally cut him some slack. If not… I’ll make this punk from a weak and lowly civilization know his place! He has to pay the price for what he did!”
He had to pay the price for what he had done!
These words made Tejano get what was on the other party’s mind.
The fat man by the side approached and appeared in the projection. He had cyan skin, a fat head, and big ears; he was as fat as a ball. He chuckled and said, “It’s me, Harmonie!”
“Oh, it’s Harmonie.” Prince Lunardo nodded. “You’re with Tejano?”
“I’m here on his private planet to have some fun.” Harmonie smiled and said, “Don’t blame me for being direct! You, Lunardo, are also a member of the Primestar royal family! You’re Lunarstar’s younger brother. Is there a need to bicker with a punk from a weak civilization? Be magnanimous and treat him as entertainment. After all, a weak civilization will be afraid of your wrath.”
Lunardo’s expression changed slightly as he snorted. “You don’t know anything, being on the other side of the cosmic sector, yet you want me to be magnanimous? I say, Harmonie, you’re an Origin lifeform after all. Yet, you remain so insensible despite your age?”
“Haha, you know my temper. I’m just rash.” Harmonie chuckled. “No matter what, there’s really no need to be too calculative with a basic civilization! You’ll only embarrass your royal family and your brother.”
“Shut up.” Lunardo’s expression turned nasty.
“It was just a side remark. Take it or leave it; it’s not like there’s anything I can do.” Harmonie smiled and said a few words.
Lunardo gazed at Tejano. “Tejano, I’m waiting for your answer. Is he your friend?”
Tejano felt mixed emotions.
Over the years of his adventuring, he had seen too much cruelty in the universe. He could also understand the situation of weak civilizations and imagine Xu Jingming’s current situation.
Xu Jingming is a member of a basic cosmic civilization after all, and he’s a Lv. 7 cosmic lifeform. He doesn’t have the slightest ability to resist Lunardo. Even if Lunardo doesn’t violate the law on the surface, by pulling some strings… it will be a calamity for Earth’s civilization. Xu Jingming will find himself in a dire situation, right? Tejano didn’t take on a supercilious mentality toward weak civilizations.

“Lunardo,” Tejano said sincerely, “Xu Jingming is indeed my friend, a friend I made on Earth! If he has offended you in any way, I’ll apologize to you on his behalf.”
On the projection, Lunardo was a little surprised as he looked at Tejano in disbelief. What?
What kind of identity does Tejano have? He is considered one of the upper echelons of the entire cosmic human race. Why would he be friends with a Lv. 7 cosmic lifeform from a weak civilization? And he even apologized on his behalf?
“You…” Prince Lunardo was a little puzzled. After all, he had been a member of the Primestar royal family since he was born!

Lunardo looked at Tejano.
So did Tejano.
The two fell silent for a full ten seconds.
“I’ll let it pass on your account.” Prince Lunardo nodded.
“Thanks.” Tejano smiled.
“But I still have to say that you’re too young and have seen too little scheming,” Prince Lunardo commented. “I’ve met too many people who deliberately approached me. Those from weak civilizations will do anything to get what they want, but in the end, it’s all because of your authority and status. Don’t treat these lowly people from weak civilizations as friends; otherwise, you will suffer.”
