Link didn’t believe a word that Lucia said.
Something about Zoran Lucia had exiled himself;
Something about there being no Lucia’s family anymore, only the Archie family;
Something about the Mixed Corps being completely under the control of Sage Cody.
As long as the Lucia’s family hasn’t been wiped out, it’s all bullshit!
The Lucia’s family is used to saying one thing in public and doing another in secret.
Link only believed in his own convictions and his determination to kill Zoran Lucia.
Did they really think Link had forgotten about the ordeal he went through when he was hit by three Star-annihilating Cannons?
If it wasn’t for the need to further his studies at the Academy Headquarters, and if Dean Frist hadn’t refused, Link wouldn’t have cared where Zoran “hid”. He would have sought him out and killed him before he was promoted to Sage!
He would definitely not have allowed it to end like it just did, with only a war of words.
However, though he enjoyed taunting, Link wasn’t oblivious enough to threaten or expose his intentions recklessly.
Since Dean Frist didn’t allow Link to take revenge, in whatever form it took,
In response, the Lucia’s family, or the Archie family in the future, would also be restricted by Dean Frist.
They would not dare to pick on Link easily anymore.
Therefore, Link chose to throw out some harsh words, to intimidate what was once the Lucia family, and what would be the Archie family, to avoid future troubles.
All Link wanted was to create a sense of a ticking bomb over their heads as much as he could.
Although this didn’t make much of a difference,
It did help to soothe Link’s mood a bit.
Hawk Lucia stared at Link who was leaving, letting Link’s defiant words echo around him. He silently heaved a sigh after a long while.
This grudge was getting deeper and deeper.
As he was about to leave for the Mixed Corps, he noticed his long lost friend, Bobby Smith, appearing nearby.
“Long time no see.”
Bobby Smith, who had come to greet him after he had spotted Hawk delivering gifts for Sage Palo to Assad and Renee the day before, took the initiative to say hello.
“Long…long time no see.”
Hawk responded with hesitation, then feigned a natural response with his head down.
Bobby looked at Hawk, a touch of sadness flashed in his eyes as he sighed, “You’ve changed so much.”
“Have…have I?”
Hawk replied uneasily, averting his eyes from Bobby’s piercing gaze.
“Yes!”

Hawk shook his head and quickly walked away, “I have things to do. We’ll chat next time.”
Bobby Smith didn’t try to keep him and stood silently as he watched Hawk’s retreating figure.
Times have changed and people have changed, it was pointless to force anything.
Until Hawk could break free of the shadow of his past, their relationship would never return to normal.
“Why did it come to this?”
With a deep sigh, Bobby also left, intending to return to the Fairy World through the Inter-Dimensional Teleportation Portal.
The “Construction” project that the Palo Sage army had been developing recently was really interesting, and he wanted to go and see for himself.
If possible, Bobby also wanted to apply to join the Medical Department, become a pharmacist, and learn the theory and practice of “Construction” firsthand.

After leaving Sage Cody’s villa, Link made a stop at Sage Selene’s place.
They chatted briefly, tacitly aware of each other’s safety, and sensed that there was no danger.
Link then went straight back to “Do whatever you want”, headquarters, with no incidents along the way.
“What did Sage Cody want with you?”
In the president’s office, Jasmine was making tea for Sandra, Lanny, and Gerald.
Tiffany and Fred had been away from their homeland for a while and decided to visit their family this time.
No matter what their relationship with their family was, they still needed to make a good impression until they were powerful enough to demand equal treatment on their own terms.
Seeing Link come in, Jasmine waved him over to sit next to her, handed him a cup of tea, then asked her question.
This time, Jasmine made rock tea.
The orange-yellow tea was clear and bright, with a long-lasting aroma and a full-bodied, smooth, and refreshing taste.
Link first sniffed the aroma of the tea, then drank it, savoring it for a bit.

Lanny and Gerald weren’t interested in the conflict between Link and the Lucia family, especially with Zoran.
They sat quietly listening and then forgot about what was said as it wasn’t their business to comment.
Sandra opened and closed her mouth a few times, wanting to say something but unsure if it was appropriate.
After some hesitation, Sandra decided to remind them with a light comment, “Zoran is now working for my uncle.”
