Ress and Leon are now standing away from Medina as they discussed something.
“Rees… She is a demi-god and that is not an ordinary parasite, it’s a life sucking demon parasite who is sucking on her life force.
It’s already too strong to defeat. How do you think, I am going to do it ?” Leon asked with a serious expression.
“B-But… Mr. Leon, You are the smartest guy after me here. You got us out of that forest with just a stick.
Please, I beg you. Medina is too precious to loose. She helped me in a very dark place and if I let her die now, it will be an insult on our friendship.” Rees spoke as he grabbed Leon’s hand.
“This doesn’t look like friendship… wait, are you in love with her ?” Leon asked with a smirk.
“W-What… I-I didn’t say that. T-That’s not even possible… I-I am an undead and she is-” Rees started speaking as his voice started breaking.
“Yep, you are in love with her.” Leon spoke with a smile.
“Yes, fine… I am in love with her. But, you can’t tell her about it. I don’t want her to break her friendship with me.” Rees spoke in a low voice.
“An undead is in love with a demi-god Fairy Mother. Isn’t that one fucking lovely couple ?” Leon asked with a neutral expression.
“Mr. Leon… We can talk about this later. But, please tell me that you can save her.” Rees asked a she looked at Leon.
“The parasite is getting stronger with every passing second. It’s sucking on the tree’s life force and her-” Before Leon could’ve completed his sentence, his eyes landed over Medina and an idea came to his mind.
“Wait, wait, wait… Hey Medina. You are the caretaker of the tree, right ?” Leon asked with a confused expression as he looked at her.
“Yes…” Medina replied in a weak voice as she barely raised her neck.
“This place is covered in negative mana… That means this parasite is using negative mana to use a skill that sucks the life force out of the tree.
This means if we can get rid of the negative mana… The parasite won’t be able to suck out the tree’s life force.” Leon spoke with a neutral expression.
“You are right, Mr. Leon… But, how can we get rid of this negative mana ? As you said this place is filled with it and you can’t destroy negative mana with normal mana.” Rees spoke as he looked at Leon.
“I know… Rees can you create a chamber that can hold all this negative mana and stop it from escaping ?
But make it so that it can only take in negative mana and not let it escape.” Leon asked as he turned to look at him.
“I will have to do some critical changes in the spell, but I think I can make it. Yet, I don’t understand how you are going to capture the negative mana in it, Mr. Leon ?” Rees asked with a confused expression.
“I-I am telling you… I-It’s futile. *Cough-Cough* Just let m-me take it… *Cough-Cough* take it down with me.” Medina spoke as she started coughing blood once again but this time her blood’s colour was black instead of red.
“The parasite is trying to kill her as fast as possible. It must’ve sensed that the soul stones are here longer than usual.” Rees spoke as he looked at Medina.
“R-Rees… You have to do the ceremony for Kiren. If-”
“Rees, make the chamber. I don’t want her to die before I execute the plan.” Leon spoke with a serious expression.
“Y-Yes…” Rees immediately pulled out a paper from his robe and started drawing magic circle over it.
“It’s futile to help her.” Suddenly, a voice came from the other side of the forest.
“Hmm…?” Rees and Leon immediately looked back and noticed a figure stepping out from the bushes.
As soon as Leon, saw her face… His eyes opened wide in shock.
Because the girl that stepped out from behind the bushes was none other than…
“… Mia.” Leon spoke in low voice, his face still in shock.
“Hello, Mr. Leon.” Mia spoke with a smile as she waved her hand at Leon.
“What are you doing here Mia ?” Leon asked with a serious expression as he started to realize something.
“Oh come on… Don’t act like you don’t know what’s happening here.” Mia spoke with a smile as she started walking towards Leon.
“Who is she, Mr. Leon ?” Rees asked as he looked at Mia.
“Someone from the village….” Leon spoke with a serious expression as he opened his inventory and pulled out the Nyxter.
“Y-You… Again. What are you here for ? Want to see me die ?” Medina spoke in a weak and angry tone as she looked at Mia.
“Oh that I would love to see… But, first I would like to have a sweet talk with my saviour. The hero who is going to take me out of the village and save me from the evil village chief.” Mia spoke as she walked upto Leon and placed her hands over his shoulders.
“A demonic parasite can’t grow on it’s own… It needs a caretaker too, you know ?” Mia spoke as she smiled and her silky black hairs started to turn brightly white.
Her eyes turned completely dark and her clothes shrank down to a two piece clothing that barely covered her boobs and her ass.
“Let me introduce myself properly this time. My name is Enid Snezt. The daughter of the fourth demon general Raka Snezt.
They also call me the mistress of night and deadly blade.” Enid spoke as she looked at Leon with a wide smile.
“Who are ’They’ ?” Leon asked with a neutral expression.
As soon as Leon asked this, complete silence covered the environment for three seconds…
“What ?” Enid asked with a confused expression.
“You said ’They also call me whore of night’. So… Who are ’They’ ?” Leon asked again with a neutral expression.
“Did you just call me a ’Whore’ ?” Enid asked with an angry expression as her monstrous smile grew wider and her nails started to grow bigger.
“That’s what ’mistress of night’ means in human language.” Leon replied with a straight face.
“Ah… I know, what you are doing. You are trying to get me all angry and pissed off… So that I will make a mistake and you can use it to defeat me.
But, that’s not going to happen. You see, I am a very smart creature unlike a mere Human being.” Enid replied with an arrogant expression as her nails went back to their original size.
“You talk too much for a whore.” Leon replied with a smirk.
“I can kill you in a single slap from my hand. But, I am not going to do it. You know why ?” Enid asked with a smile as she looked at him.
“Why ?” Leon asked with a neutral expression.
“Because you are different. Unlike the other humans… You are smart and you have skills too.
You have pleased me so much that I am considering you to make my slave and serve under me for the rest of your pathetic life.
Demons will soon take over the human kingdom and once they do. You will be like a king to them.
They will listen to anything you say and do anything you want. So, what do you think ? Will you become my slave or will you become the food for my parasite ?” Enid spoke as she immediately hurled her hand and the parasite immediately let go of Orion.
“HAAAAAAAH…” Orion sucked in a lot of air as soon as he was released.
“Look at him… He is serving as my slave and he is getting what he wants. He has a small village full of humans that lets him feed on their fear and sadness.
Their fake hope makes him stronger. Of course you can also live in that same village if you become my slave… I can even make you the next chief of the village if that’s what you wish for and-” Before Enid could’ve completed her sentence, Orion interrupted her.
“Hey, Hey, Hey… The village is mine. Me and your father had a deal… I hope you are not disrespecting the words of your father.” Orion spoke with an angry expression as he immediately walked upto her.
“Are you talking back to me ?” Enid spoke as her eyes started glowing brightly red and her smile started to stretch in an odd manner.
“N-No… Ma’am. I-I was just saying-”
“Shut up and let me talk to him. My father wouldn’t want a useless dog like you who got defeated by a human.
He would rather prefer you with some salt on your wings in dinner.” Enid spoke as she looked at Orion with a disgusted expression.
Orion didn’t speak anything after this and started looking in another direction with an angry expression.
“Now… Where was I ? Oh yeah, I can also give you powers beyond your expectations. You can use them to bend anyone to your will.
So what do you say ?” Enid asked with a smile.
“Well, What can I say ? It’s a good offer… But, you see, I don’t really take offers from whores. I prefer to fuck them and leave them on the ground next morning.” Leon replied with a smile.
