Dusk is now running through the Flembern Forest with full speed since it’s a dangerous place crawling with unknown monsters.
“I thought this was supposed to be barren land according to the books in the human kingdom’s library. I don’t see how this is barren.” Leon asked as he looked around the forest and noticed birds and small animals running through.
“According to humans, wherever they don’t live is a barren land, Master and every unknown thing is either a Monster or an Angel.
So, I won’t believe in that.” Dusk replied with a neutral tone as he continued to run.
“What did you say the name of this forest again ?” Leon asked with a confused expression.
“Flembern Forest, Master.” Dusk replied.
“If this place hasn’t been discovered by the humans, how come it has a name ?” Leon asked with a confused expression.
“Dwarfs have a hobby of travelling around the world and so do the Elfs… Maybe one of them named it.” Dusk replied.
“Flembern… Sounds more like a name that a human would come up-” Before Leon could’ve completed his sentence, he felt something on the back of his neck.

He immediately bent backwards and noticed a very sharp string made out of metal pass very closely to his nose.
“Dusk STOP.” Leon shouted and without wasting another second, Dusk’s claws stabbed the ground and he came to a sudden stop.
“What happened Master ?” Dusk asked with a confused expression as he looked around scanning for any potential threat.
*Hup*
Leon immediately jumped down from his back and started walking back… Where he saw the almost invisible metal string.
“Who put this here ?” Leon asked with a serious expression as he looked at the metal tied tightly between two trees.
“What is it master ?” Dusk asked as he walked upto Leon.
“Can’t you see this ? There is a metal string tied between these two trees.” Leon spoke as he pointed towards the string.
“I-I can’t see it… Master.” Dusk spoke as he slowly jumped up and tried to touch the string with his tail but the fur that touched the string got seprated from his body immediately.
“That’s sharp.” Leon spoke as he looked at Dusk’s fur falling down on the ground.
“Oh my god… Master we should get out of here. I have heard about this, it’s a-” Before dusk could’ve completed his sentence, Leon heard something.
*Tick-Tick-Tick-Tick-Tick*
“Something is closing in… from that side.” Leon spoke as he immediately opened his inventory and pulled out the Nyxter and some exploding beads.
*Swish*
Suddenly, a huge figure jumped out of the bushes and landed directly in front of them.
A huge black coloured spider with eight armoured legs and six glowing red eyes on it’s head. Green coloured saliva was falling down from it’s mouth and when it touched the snow, it melted instantly.
Without wasting another second, Leon used his skill…

“That’s one really intresting spider right there.” Leon spoke with a smile as he looked at the steelweb spider.
“Master… She can weave invisible webs made out of a very sharp and sturdy metal. It’s body is also covered with that same material, I don’t think my attacks will have any attacks on her.
I don’t think we can take fight with her. Should I get ready to run away ?” Dusk asked with a serious expression.
“Calm down now, Dusk. You are the one who rang the dinner bell for her.” Leon spoke with a smile as he focused his eyes on the steelweb spider.
“W-What !? When did I do that ?” Dusk asked with a shocked expression.
“Spiders can immediately sense it when someone touches their web and she is observing us carefully because most of the time when this happens, most of her prey are found dead or half-dead when she arrives here.” Leon spoke with a smile as he waited for her to make the first move.
*Spit*
And without wasting another second, the steelweb spider spitted out the green toxic waste from her mouth that flew towards Leon with full speed.
But it wasn’t fast enough to hit him and he easily dodged it by stepping aside.
*Sssssssssss*
Although when the toxic waste hitted the tree behind him… It melted the tree’s trunk immediately.
“Well… we don’t have to get hit by that.” Leon spoke as he turned to look at the steelweb spider.
*Spit-Spit-Spit*
Without giving him any breaks the spider spitted three more projectiles towards him and all three of them were coming at him from different directions.
“Well… Isn’t that just great ? She can throw…” Leon started speaking as he turned to left then turned to the right immediately and dodged two of them easily.
“… multiple spit balls at us.” He then sucked down and dodged the third one as well but some of it still fell over Leon’s shoulder and instantly burned through his clothes.
*Ssssssssssss*
“Shit… It burns like hell.” Leon spoke as he felt the it on his shoulder.
<Pain’s Recovery>
Since Leon never turned off the recovery skill he still had hundred plus stacks on it that helped him heal the wound instantly but the burning sensation still stayed on his shoulder because some of it was still stuck on his coat.
“You bitch… You burned my clothes, eat this.” Leon spoke as he threw a six hundred seal imprinted bead towards her.
*Spit*
*Sssssssssssss*
But before the bead could’ve covered even half of the way, she threw a spit projectile towards it and melted it in the middle of the air.
“Wow… She is not stupid at all and that’s a problem.” Leon spoke with a serious expression as he started thinking about another plan.
