It was only the little girl who was making better progress than the rest.
She questioned each of the things that she had been shown and was able to find the right path forward.
Though she did move a bit too slow and cautious to be considered far ahead of the rest.
So it could be said that they were currently neck and neck.
But the little girl was moving faster and faster, creating a gap between her and the rest. So it seemed like it would only be a matter of time before she was far ahead of the rest in this hedge maze.
The reason for this hedge maze was to test their intelligence and judgement making skills.
