Everyone once again looked up in shock when they heard this.
They could tell that all of the anger that had been in his voice before was gone which allowed them to breathe a sigh of relief. It seemed that they had weathered the storm and now they were safe.
But they didn’t dare completely let their guard down as they waited for the sloppily dressed man to continue. After all, it was clear that he had more to say.
However, they were all still very shocked by the words he had said. Whenever they had done something like this in the past, the sloppily dressed man had always viewed it with indifference and didn’t care about the results.
So why did that change today?
The sloppily dressed man ignored all of them and continued, “Since you’ve performed so well, I feel like you deserve some kind of reward.”
This time, everyone’s mouth dropped to the floor.
