From inside the forest, the others and I stood for a while looking at the city walls, we were all silent.

At the cabin I met Elsaris and her two children, one of her children was Jay the White Elf, the second was a beautiful human woman by the name of Beatriz, even if I call Jay Elf and Beatriz Human I am referring to their original races since the two of them are now Vampires.
One thing that surprised me was finding out that Jay and Beatriz are married, I must say it surprised me at first since by Vampire traditions they are considered siblings, but later Elsaris explained to me that this is normal among Vampires, it seems like forming couples inside from the same strain is perfectly normal and helps to increase the chance of getting pregnant, it seems that the Vampire race’s birthrate is the lowest there is.
