Song Shi felt that it was quite a coincidence. When he disguised himself and sneaked into the Imperial City, he encountered Thousand Faces, who was also disguised.
“No wonder when we saw this woman just now, she wasn’t restrained and was still eating freely. She was probably disguised as a jailer by Thousand Faces.”

The woman called Sea Maiden by Thousand Faces had a face full of hatred and fear.

Outside the entrance was a cold and gloomy palace that looked abandoned. Walking out was a bamboo forest. The morning sun shone down, and the plants looked sickly. When the wind blew, fallen leaves flew.
Without another word, both sides quickly passed through the bamboo forest and arrived at the moat on the west side of the Imperial City. Beside the river was a city wall that was more than a hundred meters tall, like a behemoth lying dormant.
