Today I learned that the relationship that Denice and Arylis had was actually quite normal.
Of course the idea of infidelity exists, but to have a threesome when both partners are present and in agreement to the act doesn’t count as such.
Open relationships and harems do exist after all, so it’s really only considered cheating if anyone in the relationship does not agree to the act.
Like if Arylis had went behind Denice’s back to have sex with me, that would be considered of course.
Yet if both of them had agreed that either of them could go and fuck whoever they wanted, then that’s another case altogether.
And because neither Lisa nor I have made our relationship clear, this isn’t considered me cheating on her either.
What I’m trying to say is… Relationships in this World are complicated… Which also means it’s not really all that different from the previous World.
Putting that aside though… I’m now waiting in the dining room with Odeta and Mother while Mary prepared the Sky Cow steak that Odeta had brought back.
“Ara, ara~ To think little Odeta was challenged for your position so early~ Did you have any trouble?” Mother asked.
“Ahaha! That boy who challenged me was weak! He didn’t even manage to land a blow on me before I knocked him out!”
“Ufufufu~ Is that so? That is good to hear~ So how are your classes so far, my dearest little one? Did you have fun in the classes today?”
Something tells me she knew I was involved in a threesome in one of my classes today and I wouldn’t even be surprised if she does.
“Umm… They were all fun, Mommy.”
“Ara, ara? Really? Is anyone bullying my dearest child? If there is, just let Mama know ok? Mama will take care of them for you~”
“Eh… I think I would like to solve these problems myself though?”
“Ahhh~ My little one is all grown up! To think Mama would see my cutest little one becoming an adult already!”
I mean… I’m technically still not in terms of my age in this World but if we go by my capabilities… I guess so?
The door leading to the kitchen opened and Mary came in pushing a trolley with Katsuki following suit close behind her.
The two of them wheeled their trolleys towards us, Katsuki stopping beside me while Mary went to Odeta’s side.
Both of them lifted the lids on the trays and I was greeted with the mouthwatering smell of the juicy steak underneath.
Seeing that I was already salivating at the smell alone, I wondered just how I would react if such a meat was brought to my mouth.
Katsuki carefully carried the plate and deposited my share in front of me, revealing the steak that was peppered with herbs and spices with some garnishes at the side.
My Inugami maid then picked up the sauce boat and drizzled the sauce over the meat, enhancing the smell even further.
On my right, Odeta was given a similar treatment except I noticed hers had a distinct lack of garnishes and it was cooked in a braised style and left sitting in a dish of the sauce.
I figured they had prepared her portion knowing she would simply just pick it up with her hands and start taking bites out of it. Thus, this was the best way for them to prepare it to accommodate her.
I also belatedly realised that Mother didn’t have any for herself.
“Eh? Is Mother not eating this too?”
“Ara, ara? This is a prize that little Odeta won for my little one and herself, isn’t it? That’s why the two of you should enjoy it~ No need to worry about Mama~”
I would have wanted to cut out a portion of it for Mother if I hadn’t known we also possess several cuts of this meat in our kitchens. Mother would be able to eat it whenever she wanted without worrying about it.
Katsuki presented my cutlery to me and I picked them up gently, allowing both Mary and her to return back to the kitchens with the trolleys.
“Go on, sister Aster! Try it! Try it!” Odeta prodded me impatiently, obviously intending to see my reaction.
I obliged, cutting a piece of the meat with the steak knife and bringing the meat up to my lips with my fork.
The moment it touched my lips, I had the image of my dress being shredded into pieces while my entire body was dipped into the gravy. A giant slab of meat then descended from above and wrapped me up in its warm embrace, wrapping me up like a blanket and making me melt in it.
I came back to my senses and realised that the meat really was melting in my mouth, allowing the juices inside the meat to flow out and assault my taste buds as well.
With all of the explosion of taste going on inside my mouth, I couldn’t help but let out a moan.
As much as I would prefer sweets, I can see why this meat was considered a top tier delicacy.
“Wahaha! It’s good isn’t it?! I remember when I first tasted mine too when the others in my village hunted one, it was so good!!” Odeta laughed before picking up her own portion with her hands.
She bit into the meat without hesitation, tearing out a chunk of it easily and making appreciative noises in the process.
She then pulled back and let out a gasp of shock, “What… What’s this?! It tastes even better than I remember!! That Mary’s cooking skill must be in the realm of Gods!!!”
Odeta then began to devour the meat with relish, not even holding back herself anymore as the meat practically disappeared into her mouth.
I took my second bite of the meat alongside some of the garnishes and this time, I had the image of running through the fields with several cows that had wings on its back flying in the air, all of them dancing along to a merry tune while I spun around on the fields.
The taste was just subtly different enough that you could notice it.
It’s just sooooo good~
In no time at all, both of us had finished the food, even cleaning the plate of its sauce to the point that the plate looked completely clean.𝑜𝐯𝐥xt.𝔠𝒐𝓂
I mean… Mary’s usual cooking was already superb but this really highlighted how good her skills were. Tier four cooking really is scary.
But this only makes me more determined to master the cooking skill so that I can make my own sweets in the future.
I will learn all the recipes and make godlike versions of those sweets so that I could eat them whenever I want!
Hmm… Maybe I should start a patisserie or something then? That actually sounds nice…
“Ahhhh~ That’s the stuff!!” Odeta chuckled while patting her abs in contentment. “When I get even stronger, I’ll go and hunt a few of those Sky Cows myself so that we can eat this meat everyday!”
I’m pretty sure despite how good this meat tastes, we’ll still get tired of it if we were to eat this everyday… But I guess that’s just her childish aspirations so I’ll humour her.
“Fufu~ I’ll look forward to it~”
“Ara, ara? Look at my cute little one being such a lady killer~” Mother giggled, wiping my mouth with a napkin. “Mary~ Dessert please~”
Almost immediately, our two maids returned with another set of trolleys and I knew from the faint sweet smell wafting from them it was my dessert! This day just couldn’t get any better!!
Mary collected the plate in front of me and allowed Katsuki to present my dessert instead, which looked like an ice cream placed on top of a fruit tart drizzled with cream and lined with sauce made from fruits.
I immediately took the proffered spoon and took a bite out of it, feeling my own senses transported to sweet heaven~
“Miss Odeta, the bath is already prepared for you. You can go ahead and use it first.”
“Ahaha! I suppose I shall go ahead first then, sister Aster! … Sister Aster? Can’t hear me huh? Ahahaha~ As expected of sister Aster!”
I was vaguely aware of some conversation going on beside me but I was too lost in the blissfulness of the ice cream tart in front of me to care.
Ahhhh~ Such bliss… It feels almost criminal to feel so good~
Too soon, all the food had disappeared and I found myself staring at an empty plate.
Oh well… It was good while it lasted…
“Eh? Where’s everyone else?” I asked, only just noticing that Mother, Odeta and Katsuki were missing from the table, leaving just me alone with Mary.
“They have left to allow you to enjoy your dessert, Mistress,” Mary explained with a smile. “Katsuki has gone to assist Miss Odeta with her bath so I shall be assisting you with yours tonight Mistress. Shall we go?”
Ah, such a shame that dinner was already over… The food was absolutely perfect and if I could go back in time just to experience it again, I most definitely would~
I was just about to stand up and follow Mary to the baths when my body suddenly felt really hot for some reason.
At first, I thought I had fallen ill or something but that thought went out of the window when I realised another fact…
