Also, I found the transmigrator who is trying to solve slavery singlehandedly by freeing all the slaves he comes across! I knew there would definitely be at least one of them!
Although the fact that he’s a bandit brings some questions to the method that he is using to free them… The fact that he has skills is Assassination as well does not help his case either.
I can most definitely take all of them on if it comes to a fight but I worry that Lisa may be caught in the crossfire and that would be pretty bad.

Lisa shrugged, “I don’t mind either one! If Miss Aster wants to claim the reward, then turning in the leader of the bandit group is also an option too!”
I turned back to the bandit, “In that case, I accept your offer.”
He sighed in relief and nodded at his companions who quickly left the room while avoiding eye contact with us. The fact that none of them even said any word of protest pretty much confirms that they already planned this ahead of time.
“Where are they going?” Lisa asked perplexedly.
The bandit leader sighed, “To recover their brethren of course… They will need to take whatever we have acquired and make the long journey north home… Without me of course.”
“Lisa, I think you might need to help them untie those bandits you captured… I don’t think they know how to undo your ropes.”

I can very well kill you and even claim a reward for your damned head. Heck, I can kill you here and no one would even bat an eye either. You really want to go there?”
“You… You wouldn’t kill a fellow from the same world, right? And what’s wrong with liberating slaves?! Slavery is the worst! It deserves to be abolished!”
I sighed and dropped him on the ground, all the anger in me leaving my body when I heard those ridiculous words of his.
“Andrew, Andrew, Andrew… Do you even know the name of this World?”
He massaged the throat that I grabbed, “Cough… Ugh… What does that have to do with anything?”
“Just answer the question.”
He kept silent.
I waved my hand at him dismissively, “So you get sent to a new place and instead of adapting to that place’s customs and values, you force your own on the locals instead? Is that what you do when you go touring in the other World as well? The locals must love you.”
His jaw clenched and his brows furrowed, showing that he most definitely did not agree with my sentiments.
I shook my head at him, “Let me guess, you’re going to tell me that slavery is an evil thing no matter what World we are in? I never said it was not evil, but maybe you should go and see how this World is affected by it before making your decision about this matter.”
“Why? Are you going to tell me that it’s because a huge chunk of the economy relies on it and thus we shouldn’t do anything that will mess up the status quo?”
“Like I said, why don’t you spend more time researching on this topic instead of reusing your old world values in this new World?”

“Because only criminals get sent to the mines… You basically broke out a bunch of criminals from their sentencing… I’m going to guess they might have been pillagers or bandits themselves before they got caught and sent to work in the mines… In this World, being jailed for a crime is not that common you know? It lowers efficiency when able bodied people are sent to be locked up and they still need to keep the prisoners alive too…”

“Because your attitude really pisses people off,” I told him as a matter of factly before delivering an uppercut to his jaw and knocking him out.
Yeah… Originally, I had wanted to let him go on account of him being an Off-Worlder, but I guess handing him over to the knights might give him a much needed wake up call.

I jumped at the sudden voice to see Lisa standing there with a big grin on her face.
