Chapter 1: Online Girlfriend Meets in Real Life
"YES! Finally, it's done!"
At Modu University,
In one of the four-person dorms in the male dormitory building.
Jiang Cheng sprang up from his bed like a carp, shouting excitedly.
"Gentle Yujie are just so easy to coax, so obedient!"
Just now!
Jiang Cheng had finally arranged to meet his gentle Yujie from online dating!
This should count as half-won, right?
He had met his online Yujie a week ago. She said she was three years older than him.
On the second day of knowing each other, they confirmed their relationship under Jiang Cheng's 'offensive'.
He finally 'persuaded' her to meet offline today!
Jiang Cheng felt he was simply a genius at flirting, just previously undiscovered.
Since they confirmed their relationship, in just a few days, under his 'sweet talk', everything but her face had been verified: black stockings, white stockings, flesh-colored stockings, high heels, stilettos!
Based on his experience reading novels, and judging by her fair, delicate feet, he concluded that his Yujie's face must be gentle, lovely, and obedient!
…
Meanwhile.
In the Modu University faculty dormitory, Su Manyao stood in front of a mirror. She did nothing, yet her cold, high-class face already spoke for her.
She put away her phone and observed herself in the mirror.
Her slender, fair fingers, adorned with silver nail polish, lightly brushed her hair. The lipstick in her hand glided across her delicate lips, applying a vibrant red hue.
Suddenly, she thought of something, and a smile played on her lips, appearing on her coolly beautiful face.
This kind of woman was like an ice-water lotus draped in red; one could clearly feel her keeping people at a distance, yet she easily evoked a desire to break the rules and 'bully' her for three years.
"College students are indeed easy to coax; a few pictures were all it took."
Su Manyao couldn't help but recall what her Traditional Chinese Medicine friend had told her.
"To properly regulate your body, just taking medicine isn't enough anymore. You need a boyfriend to balance your yin and yang. Find a boyfriend quickly, or people will start calling me a quack."
Then she thought about handling company matters. Because she was single, whether it was employees, partners, or anyone else, some would inevitably harbor other intentions outside of work, causing quite a few invisible troubles.
"Having an official boyfriend seems pretty good…"
…
Inside the dormitory building,
Jiang Cheng hummed a tune as he quickly showered, then styled his hair.
Time to go!
However, before he even left the campus, he ran into his three roommates returning from outside.
He had good relationships with his roommates: a man from the Northwest, and the honest Deng Qi.
The most unique was Su Peng, who was wealthy, very wealthy!
Jiang Cheng didn't know exactly how rich Su Peng's family was.
However, Su Peng had an older sister, Su Manyao, who was an Associate Professor of Vocal Music at Modu University's Music Department at the age of twenty-eight. She also owned a large corporate group.
But this wasn't what was most talked about regarding his sister. Su Manyao's most well-known advantage was a beauty so devastating it could ruin nations, a phrase Jiang Cheng would only use in his novels!
Jiang Cheng had seen her a few times.
In his memory, apart from Su Manyao, he had never encountered anyone else who could be described as 'devastatingly beautiful'.
In the entire Modu University forum, discussions about beautiful women always circled back to Su Manyao.
And no one ever referred to any other girl as 'campus belle' or anything similar, because if Su Manyao's name appeared in such a post, everything said before would turn into fleeting clouds.
She was an undeniably beautiful woman.
But while everyone else talked about liking Professor Su Manyao, Jiang Cheng wasn't interested.
Because in the few times Jiang Cheng had seen Su Manyao, with her kind of temperament, he felt she was definitely the type to have a man completely under her thumb!
Though beautiful, if he were to date such a woman, would he still have freedom? Would he still have dreams? Would he still have a future?
Could it really be?
That was his brother's Yujie, after all!
…
"Honestly, Lao Jiang, are you going to meet someone offline?"
Su Peng recognized Jiang Cheng at first glance, put an arm around his shoulder, and asked.
Such matters between close roommates were usually not kept secret, so everyone in the dorm knew he recently had an online dating partner.
Jiang Cheng didn't stop walking, and said calmly, "Yeah, we set a place."
"Holy crap!" Liu Tao, the man from the Northwest, quickly walked beside Jiang Cheng and patted his shoulder. "Awesome, Lao Jiang, it's only been a few days, and you've already sealed the deal?"
Su Peng pulled Deng Qi over and lectured him, "Look at Jiang Cheng. Why don't you learn from him, you simp? The woman you can't get over, someone else has already gotten into!"
Then Su Peng caught up again, "Lao Jiang, are you going alone? Why don't you let us come with you, we can keep an eye out for you, even just stand guard."
Jiang Cheng saw the fire of gossip in his eyes and said, "Forget it, you guys go somewhere cool and stay there."
Su Peng's plan failed. "Then once you've sealed the deal, bring her back for dinner so I can see her. See what kind of temptress has captured my brother. And Lao Jiang, if you need a room, just tell me. The best presidential suite in Modu's finest hotel will be empty for you."
"Okay." Jiang Cheng replied. He wouldn't actually need it; he could afford any room he wanted. But friends shouldn't be too distant.
As they chatted and walked out of school, Su Peng suddenly called out to someone not far away, "Jie, where are you going?"
Jiang Cheng looked up. Ahead of them, towards the school gate.
Su Peng's Yujie, Su Manyao, was wearing a relaxed, sleeveless long dress. Her figure was like a water snake, and a snow-white long leg was revealed by the slit in her dress.
Her beautiful hair was coiled at the back of her head, and subtly curled strands fell by her cheeks, swaying. Her collarbones gleamed, and her slender arms revealed fair, delicate, lychee-like skin.
Her fair feet, with mercury-colored nail polish, were encased in bandage high heels. Standing in the warm sun, she turned her head gracefully, like a pearl set apart from the world.
The eyes of passing students were already drawn to her.
It was hard to believe such a beautiful woman was his roommate's Yujie, and not an AI-generated image from a computer.
"Hmm, what are you little ones doing here?"
Su Manyao had a standard Yujie voice, very winding and penetrating, many times more pleasant than those deliberately affected Yujie voices.
Liu Tao and Deng Qi were stunned, their faces flushed as they looked away. Young men, facing a goddess, always felt a shy mixture of 'want' and 'don't want'.
Su Peng kicked each of them. "Damn it, that's my Jie! What the hell are you looking at!"
After saying that, he jogged over. "Jie, where are you going? Didn't you drive?"
Normally, Su Manyao wouldn't be seen in such a place. She usually went directly from her car to her destination, never walking on campus.
"I have something to do today, so I'm not driving."
"Really?" Su Peng's eyes lit up. "That's perfect!"
He turned and saw Jiang Cheng approaching. "My brother is taking his girlfriend out today. Lend your keys to my brother."
Though loyal, it was quite embarrassing.
Could he really say something like that?
But Jiang Cheng couldn't stop him in time.
Su Manyao's eyes, naturally like frost, swept over Jiang Cheng, finally lingering on his face for a moment.
She reached into her handbag, pulled out a set of keys, and tossed them to Jiang Cheng.
"A Panamera should be enough. Take your girlfriend for a nice drive. If it's not enough, a Phantom or a Bugatti, just tell your Jie."
The keys were thrown directly, and Jiang Cheng could only catch them, otherwise they would fall to the ground. "No need, I'm not that particular."
Jiang Cheng refused.
But Su Manyao, like a temptress, suddenly smiled dazzlingly, like a blooming snow lotus, and tilted her chin, saying, "What? You look down on a Panamera?"
Just that one gesture.
Passing female students felt that even if they practiced eight hundred times, they couldn't achieve that kind of charm.
Su Peng directly grasped Jiang Cheng's hand, firmly pressing the keys into it: "Just take them and drive. My Jie has plenty of cars. Even if you crash it, it's fine, I said so!"
"Little one, still being polite with your Jie." Su Manyao rolled her eyes, a strange smile on her lips. Thinking that she too was going to meet her online boyfriend, and he was a younger brother, she felt strange, a sense of needing to act like an older sister.
What else could Jiang Cheng say? He could only take them.
He wondered what kind of man could ever tame this woman.
