In 15 mintues, Su Mo had caught up with Li Hai.
Li Hai was ghastly pale and sweating bullets. It was partly because of the pressure from the ladder, and partly out of fear of Su Mo.
He wanted to run, but his legs felt as heavy as lead and his body trembled under the tremendous weight.
“Su Mo, what… what do you want?” Li Hai stuttered with a dark expression.
“What do you think? You tried to kill me in Skygale Valley!” Su Mo said with a mocking laugh while standing next to Li Hai on the step.
“That…!”
Li Hai’s expression changed, and he whispered, “Su Mo, that was my fault! Please spare me!”
Li Hai knew he was no match for Su Mo and did not want to die at the entrance of Firmament Palace, so he voluntarily asked for forgiveness.
“Spare you? Give me an excuse to spare you,” Su Mo said with a smile.
Li Hai racked his brain and said hurriedly, “It was all about fighting over treasure! You stole the 10,000-year Stalactite, so I naturally wanted to attack you. If I had stolen the 10,000-year Stalactite, you would also have wanted to attack me, so I’ve done nothing gravely wrong. I apologize!” Li Hai said genuinely.

Li Hai was terrified and as Su Mo’s hand approached his neck, he roared, “I’ll do it! I’ll do it!”
He relented and handed over his storage ring.
Li Hai’s roar startled many people around them. Everyone was speechless at how Su Mo dared to steal in such a sacred place like Sky-climbing Ladder!
The people who had already been robbed by Su Mo were even more outraged.
“Damn it, is this guy a bandit! All he does is steal and plunder everywhere he goes!”
After taking Li Hai’s storage ring, Su Mo was all smiles. “Stealing on Sky-climbing Ladder is so easy! No one can run from me!”
Su Mo came to a realization and looked at the remaining 20 people in front of him. He thought with a smile, “What a great opportunity!”
He would never pass up a chance to gain more wealth. He needed an endless supply of Spiritual Stones to cultivate his physical body, increase his cultivation, and buy Beast Souls to increase his Martial Soul.
The wealthier he was, the faster he could cultivate.
Fang Qingyun was not far ahead of Li Hai. Su Mo ran toward her beautiful figure.
