Su Mo sneered disdainfully, before shouting loudly, “Devour!”
A black vortex spun rapidly as he activated his Devouring Martial Soul. Its ferocious devouring power swept across the surroundings, and the 10,000-year Stalactite which had been flying toward Yuwen Jun, suddenly changed direction and flew toward Su Mo instead.
Under the influence of the devouring power, the stalactite starting moving toward Su Mo instantly.

Yuwen Jun was shocked. He had never imagined that Su Mo’s Martial Soul would be capable of devouring the Stalactite.
However, he was not going to sit back and watch Su Mo devour the 10,000-year Stalactite since he was determined to obtain it. His hand reached out and turned into a Genuine Vitality Palm more than six meters long, snatching at the Stalactite in an attempt to take it back.

Su Mo’s sword Qi exploded on impact. He took advantage of the counter force and flew away swiftly, with the Stalactite following right behind him.

A jade vase appeared in Su Mo’s hand, and he scooped all of the Stalactite into the vase.
“Haha!’
Su Mo burst out in laughter after filling the jade vase, before hastily flying toward the exit. He did not want to waste any more time on Yuwen Jun now that he had obtained the treasure.
“Damn it!” Yuwen Jun was enraged and chased after Su Mo immediately.
“Die!”
He yelled fiercely and sent a gigantic stream of sword Qi toward Su Mo’s back. The piercing sword power sent a chill down Su Mo’s spine.
“Heavenly Infiniteness!”
Su Mo blocked the attack with his sword. The tremendous power rattled him but also helped him to fly away even faster.
Yuwen Jun’s attack was so powerful that he managed to send Su Mo flying with one strike.
Su Mo had already used up nine streams of Nirvana Sword Qi. Without the wind’s assistance in the 10,000-year Grotto, there was zero chance of him beating Yuwen Jun even if his physical strength was comparable to that of a Peak Level 8 True Spirit Realm martial artist.
At Peak Level 8 True Spirit Realm, Yuwen Jun ranked second on the list of Top 100 Talents in Dark Domain. He was as powerful as an expert at a half step to the Enlightenment Realm.
The huge difference in their cultivation meant that the devouring power did not affect Yuwen Jun much.
Even so, Su Mo was capable of escaping with his life even if he could not defeat Yuwen Jun.

The game of cat and mouse went on till they ran into Fang Qingyun and Li Hai.

Despite losing to Yuwen Jun, they did not lag too far behind him in terms of strength.
The only reason that they had lost to Su Mo was because of the wind in Skygale Valley. Otherwise, none of them were weaker than Su Mo.
Su Mo was startled by the attacks that were almost as powerful as an average Peak Level 9 martial artist. Unlike before, he no longer had the help of the wind and Nirvana Sword Qi, so it was nearly impossible to block the attacks.
Even if he could, this would slow him down, allowing Yuwen Jun to catch up with him.
Su Mo chose to evade the attacks instead, continuing to push forward.
“You’re not going anywhere!”
Naturally, the duo would not allow Su Mo to escape. Li Hai started attacking with waves of palm prints that covered up the entire cave and came at Su Mo with tremendous force.
Fang Qingyun also shot out streams of Qi force that formed a rain curtain heading straight for Su Mo.
Their combined attack blocked Su Mo’s escape route completely.
Su Mo turned serious. Since he could not avoid the attack, he would have to face it head on.

Su Mo suddenly split into four. Then, four razor-sharp streams of sword Qi collided with the incoming attacks.

The walls of 10,000-year Grotto were incredibly solid and suffered no damage from the air blasts.
Meanwhile, all four Su Mos trembled at the same time, and three of them broke apart on impact. Su Mo’s real body was also knocked back dozens of meters. He was now completely cornered.
His avatars only had the cultivation of Peak Level 6 just like himself, but without his physical strength. Because of this, they were not useful in countering the attack

Yuwen Jun, Fang Qingyun, and Li Hai did not plan to give Su Mo any chance of escaping. They rushed over and quickly surrounded him.
“You’re not getting away!”
“I’ll spare your life if you hand over the 10,000-year Stalactite!”
“Give it up now!”
The three snarled as they closed in on Su Mo.
“Damn, you are all asking for death!”
Su Mo was so furious that his murderous intent almost took on a life of its own. He gritted his teeth and emptied the jade vase containing the 10,000-year Stalactite into his mouth.
However, he did not forget to save some for Li Feng to restore his elixir field.
Su Mo swallowed 90% of it, leaving behind a few drops.
The Stalactite then turned into a warm current and spread all over Su Mo’s body. It gave him a numb sensation as if he was bathing in a hot spring.
