As soon as Su Mo entered the multicolored light gate, his head began to spin.
After god knows how long, Su Mo felt himself sinking, and he landed on a deserted plain.
He glanced around and found nothing but overgrown weeds.
“Seems like I was transported randomly.”
Su Mo thought to himself.
After taking a breath, he sensed an air of ancientness as if he was centuries in the past.
A short while later, his dizziness disappeared and he flew away.
He had no idea how big this region was, since there was nothing but weeds as far as he could see.

A sharp chirp was heard. It was a gigantic bird that was a short distance from Su Mo.
The bird was a Class 4 Level 3 Demonic Beast with a wingspan of 50 meters. It was dark as night and shaped like an eagle; its beak and claws were shimmering with a chilling light.
The bird was extremely fast and reached Su Mo in no time. Its sharp and shining claw came for Su Mo’s head like a bolt of lightning.
“You are seeking death!”
The chilling light flashed across Su Mo’s eyes and he punched its claw.

There was a thud and the bird was sent flying by Su Mo.
Chirp!
It chirped angrily and charged toward Su Mo again.
“What?”
Su Mo was surprised. Although his casual punch lacked power, it should have been enough to kill a Class 5 Level 3 Demonic Beast. Yet, even though the bird was a Class 4, it remained unharmed.
“That’s right, since Firmament Divine Realm has existed since the ancient times, the demonic beasts here must be ancient as well. They are so powerful because of their pure bloodline!”
Su Mo made a quick assessment and soon figured it out.
Demonic beasts from the ancient times were much stronger than their counterparts in the outside world now.

As the bird came at Su Mo, he did not withhold his strength. He unsheathed his sword and sent out a massive stream of sword Qi that tore the bird apart instantly. Its blood fell like raindrops.
