Chapter 6: Becoming an Extraordinary

Like a stone cast into a lake, his mind flashed with ancient texts like the 'Napoleonic Code' from Ancient Terra and the 'Imperial Code' enacted by the Emperor, as well as the physiological structure of humans, the composition of mechanical constructs, and even the physiological structure and weaknesses of Xenos like Orks.
Ninglu understood that the former obviously stemmed from his extraordinary identity as a 'Lawyer,' while the latter should be something the Emperor, combining genetic science and Psychic powers, implanted into the Gene-Seed Primarchs, and he absorbed a part of it during his own 'mystical experience.'
A moment later, after his superhuman brain absorbed all the knowledge, he decided to practice the most common ability in the field of mysticism that most extraordinaries can master—Psychic Vision.
Ninglu raised his hands, placed them before his eyes, with his index fingers facing each other but not touching.
He opened his eyes and instantly adapted to the dark environment. He focused his gaze behind his hands and slowly moved his fingers.
Once, twice...
Ninglu saw a hint of fiery red between his fingers. He knew this was elementary Psychic Vision, and the color he saw was his aura.
In the field of mysticism, the non-physical parts of each person are divided into four layers: the core part is the 'Spiritual Body,' also known as the soul, which is called Psychic Vision when it overflows.
The resilience of the 'Spiritual Body' determines a person's resistance when facing the Warp and various horrors.
The 'Lawyer' potion strengthened Psychic Vision, giving extraordinaries the ability to find and exploit loopholes in rules and weaknesses in opponents, striking them through order.
Both involve striking weaknesses, but the Emperor granted him the ability to kill enemies, while the 'Lawyer' granted him the ability to strike opponents by exploiting rules.
Beyond the 'Spiritual Body' is the 'Astral Body,' which is a way of communicating with the Spirit World and the starry sky. It is the external manifestation of the former, directly related to one's will and current emotions.
The scenes seen after consuming the potion are images seen by the 'Astral Body' wandering in the Spirit World, where the rules of the material world do not apply, and past, present, and future can overlap.

This explanation combines the non-physical aspects from Warhammer and Lord of the Mysteries. In fact, both originate from mysticism and share many similarities, with only slight differences in terminology. For instance, the Spirit World, like the Warp, is not bound by physical rules, and past, present, and future intersect. Additionally, the official novel 'Horus Rising' has used the term 'Spirit World' to refer to the Warp.
Considering the readers, subsequent descriptions will mostly adopt Warhammer terminology, with the exception of Psychic Vision.
