The sky across the Federal State Nation turned dark. The weather report explained it as an approaching storm.
However, it was accompanied by earthquakes across the nation, making the people more panicked.
” Damn it, What the hell is happening recently?”
” Indeed! It’s like something bad is going to happen.”
” Everyone! The end time is near! Repent your sins and beg forgiveness before the Lord.”
” Heh, Which Lord are you talking about? Who knows, Maybe he is the fake one?”

Both online and offline, the situation was chaotic. Thankfully, the federal government was competent. They swiftly employed AI to take care of online chaos.
As for the ground reality, the military was already in action. They took control of the situation, to reduce food hoardings and stampedes in densely populated areas.

” Ugh, It was really chaos out there. Thankfully, I have already secured our livestock.” The man kissed his wife as he nodded.
The wife pulled back. ” Well, I heard it’s a tornado warning. I have already prepared our underground shelter.”
” I have met local police around our barn.” The husband spoke as he opened a can of beer. ” They are sealing off a large area.”
” What? What’s the police doing here?”
The husband shrugged. ” Who knows? But they are completely sealing off the westside lake and its surroundings.”
” Mom! Dad! Look at this!”
” What is it, Jack?”
” The sky! The sky is breaking!”
The husband and wife looked at each other in confusion. ” What? The sky is breaking?”
” What are you talking about, Jack?”
As they walked to the window, Jack pointed outside in excitement.
” What? It’s just…Fog?”
” Strange, The sky was clear a minute ago. Why is there fog?”
” No-No! It’s not!” Jack insisted. ” I really saw it! The sky actually broke!”
” Fine fine! But do you not want to try the chocolate cake I just baked?” The mother caressed Jack’s hair affectionately.
” Yay! Cake! I am going to eat everything!”
” Hahah! Jack, Not gonna leave anything for your old man, huh?”
” Nooo!”
” Hahahaha…”
As they closed the window and walked into the living room, the fog in the distance glitched like the static of TV.
Suddenly, it vanished as the true scene appeared.
A giant vertical crack reaching to the sky, with the inside of the crack giving a radiance of chaotic colors.
It was as if the sky broke like a fragile mirror, with its broken shards floating around the crack.
However, the static appeared again as it turned into normal fog.
” The Star Guild is here!”
” The Cowboy Union is here!”
” 23rd Unit of Hypertask Force is here.”
” The spatial crack is growing bigger! Prepare to engage!”
The ground started to tremble as the crack suddenly expanded.
” They are coming!”
” Damn, This is going to be hella amazing.”
*ROAAR! ROAAAA!*
Like darkness pouring out from a vessel, monsters started to pour out from the spatial crack.
” Open fire! OPEN FIRE!”

Humanoid monsters with bodies covered with pitch black furs, the face was like a canine beast with glowing red eyes. They appeared to be mindless monsters, who simply poured out from the gate.
” Sixth circle Magic! Chai Lightning! “
Magic circles flashed across the sky as they rained bolts of lightning across the fields. As the lightning descended. It charred the ground, destroying the monsters by reducing them into charred corpses.
The bullets and ammunitions the military used were reinforced by the mana. Therefore, it could easily harm the monsters of the spatial crack.
A few hours of bombardment and loss of a hundred men, they wiped out all the monsters.
” Damn it! There are too many of them!”
” How is the plan of closing the spatial gate going?” The general shouted.
” I don’t know, but we are weoking on it.” The researcher spoke. ” As long all the powerful figures inside the crack os killed, I believe we can shrink down the siz-“
Everyone halted their steps as they felt the ground trembling once again.
” Hahaha! Finally, I am breathing the air of the mortal world once again!”
” How many years it has been? How many years I craved for it?”

This time, unlike the hoard of mindless monsters, a small army of different monsters appeared.
A giant monster towering over a hundred meters, with a gigantic axe resting on its back. Its face was obscure, as it donned a skull of an antler with four eyes. And each of the eye sockets burned with ominous green flames.
” The General Zodus of 45th Nether Army is here! Bow before me!”
” Well, Fuck!” Regius of the Star Guild looked at the monster with a grim expression.
” It’s a noble rank demon. To think the information we got was actually true.”
” Mortals! How commendable of you to wipe out the serfs of my army.” General Zodus cackled. ” But to think you dare to stand against me, Foolish!”
Suddenly, a baleful aura spread across General Zodus’s body, almost materializing physically. All the humans felt they had been hit by a freight train, their bodies and minds freezing from the intense fear.
However, at the exact moment, a golden resplendence shone, covering the entire human force.
” I DECLARE SANCTUARY!”

General Zodus squinted his eyes as he looked at the blessing of golden light. The soldiers of his monster army felt uncomfortable as they took a step back, unable to bear the radiance.
” Hmph, As if your blessings will defeat me!” The demon general snorted as he pulled out his axe.
” Charge forward, soldiers of hell! Wash the land with blood!”
The army general of Federal Nation nodded as his eyes turned cold.
” Activate the holy treasure!”
” Radiance Beacon! Descent!”
The soldiers and guild members of humanity filled with valor and strength, and the suppressing effect of General Zodus vanished like dark smoke.
” Activate the formation! Charged forward!”

The tanks and rocket launchers start bombing down. All the ammunitions were filled with the dust of blessed energy crystals, making them effective against dark energy beings.
Bombings targeted the pawns of General Zodus first. General Zodus never expected that the weapons of the humans already reached such an advanced stage.
After the first round, the guild members rushed forward. The leader of Star Guild and Cowboy Association took their elite members and attacked General Zodus head on.
” Damned demon! You think we were unaware of your presence?!”
” All these years, we are also training our strength! So we could take care of filthy vermins like you!”
The green flames burst from the skull helmet of General Zodus as he roared. ” Puny humans! You dare to bare your fangs before this noble demon!”

With a single swing of his axe, he tore apart the earth. The ground rumbled as a deep ravine appeared from his slash.
In a span of a single moment, at least a hundred soldiers turned into chunks of flesh and blood.
” Anti Evil Array! Activate!”
” Holy Blessings! Arrows of Angel!”
The members of Star Guild surrounded General Zodus, each holding a small statue. Suddenly, the statue blinked as gigantic chains made up of light shot out from the guild members’ bodies, chaining the body of General Zodus.
Meanwhile, a man raised his cowboy hat as he held a glowing bow. The air boomed around him as he released the string, the arrow turned into a giant spear and shot towards the knee of General Zodus.
” Arrgh! You dare to use holy energy!” General Zodus struggled as he tried to break apart the radiant chains.
” Guild Leader! We can’t hold any longer!”
” Arrrgh!”
The chains started to break one by one as the guild members of Star Guild fell on the ground, blood seeping from their eyes and noses.
” Thank you for buying me time.”
The weather changed as the leader of Star Guild rose to the sky. The scepter in his hand broke as it turned into a blinding orb.
” Seventh rank Magic! Demon Imprisoning Holy Palm!!”
The stormy cloud in the sky swirled as a clearing of light appeared in the middle. A gigantic palm fell from the sky, crushing General Zodus under it.
” YOU DARE!”
General Zodus felt pressure as he swung his axe, trying to block it. However, the cowboy with the archer kept attacking him from a distance, injuring his legs first.
A single falter and General Zodus fell under the palm, getting crushed on the ground.
” THE DEMON GENERAL IS DOWN!”
” KILL ALL THE DEMONS!”
” THE WILL OF HUMANITY PREVAILS!”
