Jun Tianyun frowned when he could feel the oppressive aura from the giant infant as it gazed at him.
” Food…Blood!…Wahhhh!”
The wail of the infant was terrifying as the echoes shattered the glasses and created fissures on the ground. Jun Tianyun’s divine energy erupted and enveloped him, protecting against the wail.
However, for a brief moment, he felt his brain turning into a mush as all thoughts became chaotic and corrupted.
‘ Fuck! Blood Demon hasn’t descended properly in this body, Yet it can exert so much power.’ Jun Tianyun cursed as he saw the infant absorbing the blood qi and corpses of the cultists, killed by Jun Tianyun and Xiao Yue.
Without any hesitation, Jun Tianyun pulled out his Abyss of Stars and charged towards the infant.
The infant could feel the danger from Jun Tianyun as it raised his hands, and a rain of blood appeared, turning into a cage around Jun Tianyun.
With a snort, Jun Tianyun’s sword burst with starlight as he hacked the cage with ease. However, before he could move forward, Jun Tianyun’s eyes narrowed when he saw the splattered blood turning into humanoid monsters of blood.
They were simply faceless with wide gaps looking like a hungry mouth. Their arms deformed and transformed into various weapons like swords, lances, and axes as they rushed toward Jun Tianyun.
” Hnph! Fusing blood and summoning, huh?” Jun Tianyun snorted as he clenched his sword as his mana flowed into the sword, making it a pillar of dazzling start light.
With a single slash, the sword created a vortex of starlight with multicolored mana ripping apart the wind itself. The blood monsters didn’t get any chance to go near Jun Tianyun as they got vaporized by his sword slash.
*BOOM! BOOM!*
However, to Jun Tianyun’s annoyance, the infant demon wailed once again, making the ground crack as blood colored light seeped out.
Jun Tianyun’s eyes turned serious as he realized the infant was just bidding the time to cast some complex dark magic. And now, it was opening some sort of portal.
” Not under my watch!”
Raising his sword, Jun Tianyun’s Chaotic Flower bloomed in his dantian, giving him an endless surge of power. He stabbed the sword on the ground, injecting a lethal force into the ground.
The ground rumbled as if it was struck by some sort of earthquake. The infant wailed in agony as it realized its magic was getting interrupted by Jun Tianyun.
Raising its hand, it condensed a blood colored light which fired a red beam toward Jun Tianyun.
” Reinforced Earth Shield!”
Suddenly, a giant wall of solid rocks and mud rose before Jun Tianyun, creating a shield.
But, the blood ray was far too powerful and corrosive, piercing through the wall in a few moments. Jun Tianyun was surprised as he used his Abyss of Star as a shield instantly.
Getting pushed back, Jun Tianyun realized the beam was far too powerful and sinister. But then, his mind rang with alarms as he suddenly blinked from his position and appeared a few meters sideways.
Unknown to him, a blood colored small imp materialized before him, stabbing him from behind.
But as Jun Tianyun thought he evaded the attack, his suddenly felt the world around him darkening a sickening smell of rotting blood entered his nose.
It was as if he was thrown into an isolated dimension, with blood slowly starting to rise from the ground like water.
” URRGH!!”
Jun Tianyun grunted as he felt his blood was on fire. It felt like instead of liquid, his blood turning into a boiling, slimy substance, trying to crush his inner organs and squirm out from his body.
” Give… Up, Tasty…Young man. You are…My…Nutrition!”
The voice echoed from everywhere, making blood slowly seeping out from Jun Tianyun’s eyes. Although his body was completely shielded with his mana, Jun Tianyun simply couldn’t stop the Blood Demon from affecting his blood and organs.
” KARRGHHH!”
Jun Tianyun vomited out a mouthful of black blood as he felt his internal organs were getting corroded by his own blood.
‘ Fuck! This isn’t magic…This feels like…a natural power of that demon. I need to fight it back against this corrosion.’
Jun Tianyun activated the Chaotic Flower in his dantian as he transformed all mana into Wood qi.
As the Wood qi spread through his body, he felt his life force was reignited and his body was filled with fresh blood and vigor. The power of Wood qi was enough to fight against the corrosion of Blood Demon, giving Jun Tianyun the ample time to think of other solutions.
” Gahhhh! You can’t win!!”
Opening his Eyes of Fortune, Jun Tianyun calmly surveyed his space. The crimson rays of danger filled the entire space with black gas of death slowly circling here and there.
‘ It looks like it trapped me in some alternate space. Although I can resist his blood control right now, I should not drag this fight more.’
‘ Divine power…Divine power…Fate, Ah…’
Donning his dragon scaled battle armor, Jun Tianyun felt the rush of power in his body as he clenched his Abyss of Stars.
” Blood Demon, is it? If your domain is the blood…Then allow me to vaporize it.”
The Abyss of Star swirled with starlight as Jun Tianyun imbued Lightning and Fire qi inside it. Using his Eyes of Fortune, He finally found a small gap where the threads of fate interwind.
” Meteoric Sword Strike!”
Jun Tianyun felt his armor was coming alive it gave him endless power, activating his Dragon Blood coursing in his body.
The entire dark space trembled as his sword streaked like a comet across the dark night. With a loud shattering sound, Jun Tianyun’s surroundings broke as he reappeared in the underground facility.
However, his eyes turned red from rage when he realized the blood colored tentacles were tightened around Xiao Yue, and the demon infant was trying to devour her.
When Jun Tianyun broke out, the infant became distracted, giving Xiao Yue the chance to vanish from her position.
” Young master! Don’t worry, I am safe now!” Xiao Yue spoke hurriedly as she reappeared in his God’s Space.
She felt Jun Tianyun’s presence flickering before she killed everyone outside and rushed into the inner facility. However, to her horror, she saw the demon infant dragging out all the corpses and devouring them.
And when it saw Xiao Yue, it couldn’t help but attack her, trying to devour her spirit beast bloodline.
Jun Tianyun snorted as he looked at the demon infant, which already grew a lot by now.
” You can’t defeat me, Young bastard.” The infant spoke fluently this time.
” Better become my nourishment.”
” Well, Let’s see if you have such capabilities.”
