” Sir, The casualty is great. We almost lost ⅔ of the Black Army.” Someone spoke.
Wu Zhu snorted as he looked around. He was the current commander of the Black Army. Looking at the devastated city square, he couldn’t help but feel angry.
” Those motherfucking Steel Fortress people! How dare they betray us!”
” Anyway, reorganize our men and start cleaning up!” He shouted.
” Sir Wu! Great news! Sir Roger and his men stopped the Ninth Base Army from attacking us and they finished them off.”
” What?” Wu Zhu was surprised. ” Roger paused them all alone? Damn, It seems like he really accumulated a lot of power in the dark huh?”
” But still, It is remarkable that he saved all of us. If Ninth Base Army invaded our city, it would have been over.” He sighed.
” Bu-But… Their army is marching toward the city square.”
Wu Zhu’s eyes narrowed when he heard that. He could already guess Roger’s intention of Roger.
” Heh, Fishing for fortune in troubled water, huh?” Wu Zhu snorted. ” Gather all our men and tell them to remain stand by. I will see what to do.”
” Yes…”
Roger and Jun Tianyun, along with their squad, reached the city square as they saw the scene. The men hurried and helped the injured people.
Roger walked toward the City Lord as he looked at his injured body. ” You did well, Unfortunately, You are now crippled.”
” Haah… Crippled, you say?” City Lord snorted as he was still lying on a stretcher. The Dark Ring Leader was looking at Roger with vigilant eyes.
” Roger, I heard you stopped the invasion of Ninth Base Army. You did well.”
” Me?” Roger laughed. ” If a certain someone didn’t warn me beforehand, I would be also lying here on the ground, together with you.”
” You received help?” City Lord looked at Roger. ” Who? Who is it?”
” The new City Lord.”
The guards around City Lord turned cautious as they pointed their guns at Roger. Roger’s men also raised their rifles as they pointed at the City Lord.
In an instant, everything turned calm. But it was a calm before storm.
” Roger…Do you know what you are saying?” City Lord snorted. ” Are you betraying Black Sand City?”
Roger snorted. ” Betraying? Just because I am advocating for a new City Lord, doesn’t mean I am betraying the city. Also, this city is not your personal property.”
” You!!”
” You think I am joking?” Roger laughed coldly. ” Not to mention, in your current condition, I can kill you without giving a single reason. However, I am only keeping you alive because you are worth something.”
Dark Ring Leader snorted. ” So? You are going to be the new City Lord?”
” Nope.” Roger laughed. ” It will be someone different… Someone More capable.”
” Who is it?”
Everyone became surprised when they heard Roger. If he isn’t going to be the City Lord, who will be?
Suddenly, everyone saw a young man walking forward. He wore a white suit with red rose patterns on it. He looked calm and composed as he climbed to the highest place.
There wasn’t a single blemish on his skin, not a single flaw in his dress. He looked simply like a person out of this world.
” Who! Who is he?”
The City Lord asked as he looked at the young man. Roger smiled.
” The savior.”
” LISTEN! ALL THE INHABITANTS OF BLACK SAND CITY! FROM TODAY ONWARDS, THIS CITY SHALL BE UNDER THE HEAVEN’S SANCTUARY!”
Jun Tianyun’s voice boomed across the city as everyone became startled. It was akin to a heavenly dragon’s roar, instilling fear and awe in their hearts.
” From now on, Heaven’s Sanctuary shall control Black Sand City. If someone got any different opinion, stand up and face me!”
” What gall!” A middle aged man with a robust body walked as he looked at Jun Tianyun. Behind him stood his dozen of subordinates.
” A young brat like you thinking of being the City Lord? Hah, What is Heaven’s Sanctuary? I never heard that?” He laughed.
” Anyone else?” Jun Tianyun looked around.
Since City Lord and Dark Ring leader got injured, many greedy wolves set their eyes on the Black Sand City. However, hearing Jun Tianyun’s announcement, they became furious.
” How dare you!”
” Yes! It should be Bright Sky Gang’s!”
” No way! I oppose! Is a brat being City Lord? Hah, Laughable!”
A small crowd of people gathered around Jun Tianyun they all looked at him with malicious eyes. Jun Tianyun only snorted as he looked at them.
” Alright, So you guys have problems with me, huh?” Jun Tianyun smiled. However, his eyes narrowed as he looked at them. ” I have to convince you then.”
Suddenly, that crowd of men felt the air around them freezing as everything turned silent. A baleful pressure descended on them as their eyes turned wide.
They felt like they got crushed under a gigantic mountain. Jun Tianyun fully unleashed his Divine Suppression.
*PLOP PLOP PLOP*
All of them fell on their knees their head plastered on the ground. As time passed, the pressure and killing intent around them increased.
They felt a spine-chilling fear as Jun Tianyun only stood there without saying anything. It was like a primordial demon is staring at them. A bat of an eye and they might get torn into shreds by Jun Tianyun.
Jun Tianyun snapped his fingers as the wind blew. However, along with the wind, a few people’s heads also flew. In just a flash, around five heads rolled off from their body as a fountain of blood erupted.
The remaining people in the crowd shivered as they started to pray.
” My Lord! Forgive us!”
” Please! It was a mistake! We have no problem in you being the City Lord!”
” Please, Have mercy!”
Jun Tianyun laughed as he looked at the, ” So, How does it feel? How does it feel while being in the presence of a god?”
Jun Tianyun looked at the sky as he roared.
” WHO ELSE DARES TO OPPOSE ME!”
Jun Tianyun’s voice was so imposing that the crowd of kneeling people got frightened enough to pee in their pants. In fact, some of them already peed.
City Lord, Dark Ring leader, and Roger, along with their men, also saw the scene as they were trembling from shock and fear. All of them were veteran hunters who survived even in the worst situations.
However, Jun Tianyun’s imposing aura along with his voice, was enough to strike an unprecedented fear in their hearts.
As Jun Tianyun said, they felt like he was a god standing among the crowd of mortals.
Jun Tianyun nodded as there was nothing but silence. ” Very good! I like this response!”
” As my first order as City Lord, I command all the members of Heaven’s Sanctuary to help the injured and provide rations to them.”
” In my reign, None shall die due to hunger and thirst!”
Jun Tianyun’s new announcement was another big shock for the people. Food and water? Ration? Jun Tianyun is going to give them for free?”
” Truly a divine City Lord!”
” City Lord! City Lord!
Jun Tianyun nodded as he retracted his Divine Suppression. People sighed in relief when they felt Jun Tianyun’s aura retracting. They felt alive again by breathing fresh air.
” Roger, Ah Da, bring all the gentlemen inside the City Lord manor and do what I told you.” Jun Tianyun vanished from his position as he appeared right in front of Roger.
Both the old City Lord and Dark Ring leader got surprised when they saw Jun Tianyun’s ability. Jun Tianyun didn’t even glance at them as he gave orders to Ah Da and Roger.
” If someone doesn’t comply, kill them off.”
” Yes, Boss.”
Jun Tianyun rubbed his palms as he laughed. ” Very well. Then, I should take some rest and have some fun, no?”
He chuckled as he saw Ming Yue standing beside his car. Ashley on the other hand, was tied with iron chains as she knelt on the ground.
” Congratulations, Young Master Jun for being the new City Lord.” Ming Yue gave a light smile as she spoke.
” Scheming as always, huh?” Jun Tianyun chuckled as he heard Ming Yue. ” I can see that. You will probably be the one who will stab me first the moment I turn my back on you.”
” That is a very serious accusation, Mr. Jun.” Ming Yue kept her light smile. ” Currently I am your prisoner. Where do I have the ability to harm you?”
Jun Tianyun snorted. ” Is that so?”
” Hmph! Bastard, You think you will stay alive after offending Steel Fortress? Just wait till the main forces of Steel Fortress come. You will be finished.”
Jun Tianyun laughed lightly when he heard Ashley. ” Well, It seems like you need some discipline, huh?”
Ming Yue’s expression changed when she heard Jun Tianyun. ” Mr. Jun, Wait… Ashley is just impulsive, Please, don’t mind her…”
Jun Tianyun only cast a side eye at Ming Yue. ” Did I ask your opinion?”
It was a simple sentence. But Jun Tianyun’s aura was enough to make Ming Yue’s blood turn cold. Qin Shiyu snorted, ” Bitch, It looks like you still don’t understand your position.”
” Don’t worry.” Jun Tianyun laughed. ” I like to tame both wild animals and wild girls. Miss Ming, would you like to see my taming process?”
Ming Yue’s face froze when she heard that. Jun Tianyun turned around as he saw the setting sun.
” Hah, I can’t wait for the evening at all.” He grinned. ” Shiyu, take Miss Ashley and give er the *best* clothes.”
Qin Shiyu grinned as she understood Jun Tianyun’s meaning.
” As you wish, Master.”
