Yang Meng was frustrated as he shouted, ” Officer, I am innocent. I was just driving casually.”
” Hah, You think we are fools? We know that you are following that black van. Now, Tell me why were you following, or else, You won’t like the consequences.” The policeman laughed angrily.
Yang Meng snorted in his heart as he glared at the policeman. If he wished, killing this man and escaping from the station is not big deal. However, he wished to live a normal life, far from bloodshed and violence.
A sudden smile crept on his face as he looked at the policeman.” Well, I don’t know what you are talking about.” He walked closer to the policeman as he spoke.
The policeman took a step back as he suddenly felt an intimidating gaze from Yang Meng. His throat went dry as his body trembled, sweating his forehead.
” Just you wait! I will come back.” The policeman snorted as he turned around and left the room. Yang Meng snorted as he looked at his hand.
Yang Meng was holding the phone of that policeman, which he stole silently from him.
He was about the dial a number before the policeman stormed back.
” Well, I guess you are telling the truth. You are free to go.”
“???”
Question marks appeared above Yang Meng’s head as he looked at the policeman.
” What?”
” I said you are free to go.” The policeman rolled his eyes. ” Or, you want to stay here for a few more days.”
” But…”
Yang Meng’s face turned stiff as the policeman uncuffed him. He was really letting him go.
” What the hell is wrong with these guys.” Yang Meng grumbled as he walked out. He quietly placed the phone back in the policeman’s pocket as he walks out.
” Well, I guess I didn’t have to call my fellows? Well, It’s good, I guess?”
Yang Meng took his car keys as he started to walk out. However, he realized that a few cars and special forces cars arriving at the police station as many people came out of them.
Yang Meng was pleasantly surprised as he saw Cai Ningxue getting out of the car and walking toward the police station. Yang Meng thought about greeting her, but she was just too absent-minded to notice him.
Yang Meng’s face stiffed as he turned around. ” I guess it’s better if we don’t meet again.”
He got into his car and drove off. Cai Ningxue turned around as she felt a familiar aura. When she saw the back of Yang Meng, she thought like some faded memories resurfacing.
But what happened at the abandoned factory already gave her too much stress. She got into the police station and seated.
” Chief Cai, Are you ok?”
” Chief Cai! We did it! We captured the main mastermind and others! We even rescued the kidnapped girls.”
” Chief Cai, some coffee for you.”
Cai Ningxue nodded as she drank the coffee. Ye Kun sighed as he looked at the special forces and gave them some instructions.
” Sister Cai, I am afraid uncle Cai won’t let this matter go. I mean…”
” Shut up, Ye Kun.” Cai Ningxue snorted. ” It was my fault and I accept it, But don’t try telling this to dad.”
Ye Kun shut his mouth as he nodded. As they were chatting, Cai Ningxue heard some talk.

Cai Ningxue somehow got interested as she tried to change the topic. ” What happened? Who came here?”
A colleague of Cai Ningxue *Coincidentally* got the photo of Yang Meng as she showed it to Cai Ningxue. Cai Ningxue’s expression changed as she looked at the photo closely.
” These eyes… Why do I feel…” Cai Ningxue frowned as she tried to remember the feeling earlier. She felt like she knew Yang Meng.
” What happened, Sister Cai?”
Ye Kun asked in surprise as he looked at Cai Ningxue. Cai Ningxue didn’t say anything as she shook her head. ” Nothing. Just some deja vu.”
” Well, Sister Cai, I think the matter has been escalated. I think someone from True Martial Order might come. This matter might have some association with the matter of Steve.”

” Well…” Jun Tianyun rubbed under his nose as he chuckled. Since he already got a divine shard and his Throne of Fate got evolved, his power has become somewhat mysterious. Even he doesn’t know what is his peak power at this point.
‘ But, It’s not enough for me to beat Yang Meng. I need to be quick.’ Jun Tianyun pondered as he thought about something.
‘ Indeed, I can try out that idea. Let’s see tomorrow.” Jun Tianyun rolled over to the side as both Zi Yanrou and Jun Tianyun lay on the bed naked, covered with sweat.
Zi Yanrou thought of something as she got up and started writing something on the laptop.
