Jun Tianyun stood in front of a wall between two caves as he took a step forward. The caves disappeared as Jun Tianyun felt like he got transported into a new place.
There were eight bronze doors around him, in all eight directions. Jun Tianyun took a step forward, but the bronze door shifted. With each step Jun Tianyun takes, the doors change their position randomly.
” Don’t worry, just walk according to my say.”
Su QIngyao chuckled as she looked ahead. ” Two steps toward the north, one step back. Now, walk to the east five steps, take a circle, two steps to the south.”
Jun Tianyun nodded as he moved as Su Qingayo said. With each step he took, the runes on the bronze door changed. After walking in such a weird method for a while, Jun Tianyun finally manage to reach a door. There was one rune on that bronze door and it looked very simple.
” Wow, so, It’s like a puzzle. The key to solving it is to make one door devoid of runes?” Jun Tianyun was enlightened as he looked at Su Qingyao. ” It seems like you have quite a good grasp on Formation Dao, huh?”
Su Qingyao chuckled. ” Not really, I just knew some basic things about the Formations. However, the basic things in Immortal World would be top class things here. So, I just used my brain a bit and some calculations. That’s all.”
Jun Tianyun placed his hands on that blank bronze door as it suddenly opened. The other seven doors vanished as Jun Tianyun’s surroundings became fuzzy again. Jun Tianyun found himself on a narrow stone bridge as he looked around.
However, his expression turned pale as he saw his surroundings. There were seven other bridges around him, twisting around each other like tree roots. However, they are broken as Jun Tianyun looked below.
It was nothing but a bone chilling darkness, waiting to devour anything that falls. Su QIngyao smiled, ” Well, if you picked the wrong door, you would have fallen from the cliff. And, even with his magic and other things, I don’t think you would have survived.”
” Well, I would have.” Jun Tianyun grinned as he wiped his sweat. ” I am the protagonist after all.” Su Qingyao chuckled audibly as she caressed Jun Tianyun’s hair. ” Well, you might be the protagonist, but you are bounded by the author after all.”
Jun Tianyun gave a light snort as he looked at the sky.
” What can that virgin four eyes nerd can do anyway?”
” What?”
” Oh, nothing at all.”
Jun Tianyun walked on the narrow bridge for a while as he saw a white curtain of light. It looked like the same light that appeared when Mu Yunyun and Li Yuling entered the cave. Jun Tianyun’s eyes brightened as he tried to rush inside.
But then, His Eyes of Fortune flashed as the gentle curtain of light became filled with pitch black light. Jun Tianyun paused as cold sweat appeared on his forehead.
” Fucking another trap! The formation is really shitty things.” Jun Tianyun looked around he saw a trail of green light flickering around him. But it was constantly changing its direction, making Jun Tianyun unable to get a way out.
Su Qingyao spoke, ” Close your eyes and take a step to left.” Jun Tianyun nodded as he took a step to left.
” WH-AAHHHHH!!”
Jun Tianyun felt like he fell from a cliff. But the moment he opened his eyes, he saw he was standing in a garden. He looked above him as he could see the walls of several hundred feet enclosing the place. But, he could see the night sky on the top.
Jun Tianyun was very startled as a thick aroma of her drifted around. He looked around with his Eyes of Fortune as his expression changed. ” No way!” It was only flashing blue and violet around him. Jun Tianyun’s eyes turned wide as he ran around wildly.
” Hundred Year old Blood Yang Grass, Three Hundred year old Ash Flower, Five Hundred year old Bone Finger Vines?!! This is…This is simply…paradise of medicinal herbs.” Jun Tianyun fell on his knees as he laughed loudly.
” HAHAHAHA! GOOD! VERY GOOD! I LIKE IT!
Jun Tianyun looked around and saw a small door connected to the wall. The moment he opened it, He was surprised.
He could see that he was floating, and saw a large pool of water separated by a big wall. On one side, he saw Fan Ze and another man. On the other side, he could see Li Yuling, Mu Yunyun, and Liu Binglan.
” I see, So, This is the Spirit Pool, eh? I can see it. The energy here is even denser than the Qingyun Mountain Sect. Oh, there are even eight strange pillars around the pool.”
Su Qingyao listened to Jun Tianyun’s words as she looked around. Her eyes flashed with a strange light as she sighed, ” It seems like my doubts are true.”
” Hmm? What is it?”
Su Qingyao looked around. ” As I suspected, the person who made the grand formation around the mountain, and the person who made the Spirit Pool, are two different people.”
” I don’t understand what you mean.” Jun Tianyun asked. Su Qingyao nodded as she explained. ” The Eight Gate Death Formation was very tricky and complex, right?”
” Indeed.”
” But the person who made the Spirit Pool, it’s very crude and simple. It’s like, someone just put a cherry on an already well-made cake.”
Jun Tianyun’s eyes narrowed as he looked at the Spirit Pool. ” So, you are saying, That this existed even before the Qingyun Mountain Sect? That means, it’s more than a thousand year old.”
” Yes, the Spirit Pool wasn’t originally used to make people breakthrough.” Su Qingyao held her breath as her voice turned low.
” This is an Energy Gathering Formation. It is used as a power generator to power another large Formation. However, it seems like the founder of Qingyun Mountain Sect noticed it and made some slight adjustments.”
” He drew out a small portion of gathered energy to help his disciples. That’s how the Spirit Pool came into the being.”
Jun Tianyun remained silent as he saw Mu Yunyun and others happily chatting and absorbing the abundant energy. Jun Tianyun sighed as he turned around.
” Since there isn’t any danger, Let’s leave them alone for now. After all, we got there whole days.” Jun Tianyun smiled as he returned to the garden. Jun Tianyun took out his Heavenly Luopan as he viewed the Astral Projection of the garden.
” Hmm?”
Jun Tianyun managed to notice a small rune as he pressed it. Suddenly, a doorway opened and it sucked Jun Tianyun in.
Jun Tianyun stood in awe as he saw a gigantic tree in front of him. The tree was giant, like a three-story building. But it was ashen and completely withered. There were even eight pillars around it, covered with dense runic chains.
Jun Tianyun’s eyes narrowed as he saw a golden coffin on the middle of the tree, supported by the tree’s tendrils. His Heavenly Luopan’s needle spun crazily as Jun Tianyun saw a violet and crimson radiance in the coffin.
” Fortune really lurks with danger, ah.” Jun Tianyun smiled as he started walking toward it. Su Qingyao was a bit surprised, ” Well, I don’t think you should charge without any plan.”
” Well, I have to check it out nonetheless.” Jun Tianyun jumped forward he slowly opened the first seal on the coffin.
However, the moment Jun Tianyun going to open the coffin, the coffin trembled as blood-colored gas erupted from its side.
Jun Tianyun’s expression changed as he jumped backward. His face twisted in pain as he looked at the coffin with weird eyes. His skin turned red as he could see a layer of skin already got peeled.
” Ugh! My skin! It feels like someone has poured boiling water on it!”
Jun Tianyun revolved his Divine Art of Chaotic Flower as he used his multicolored mana to protect himself against the gas. The crimson gas became denser and denser as the coffin lead fell down Jun Tianyun’s eyes narrowed as he saw a corpse slowly rising from it.
He saw it got four arms as the site’s eyes burned with a creepy green light. The two horns on his head looked sharp and glossy.

Jun Tianyun saw the corpse monster slowly stretching its arms as it looked at Jun Tianyun with his green eyes. Suddenly, it blurred from its position as it appeared right behind Jun Tianyun.
Jun Tianyun’s heart chilled when he saw the speed of that corpse demon. However, a grin appeared on his face, ” Well, Let’s see!”
” Blazing Gold Palm!”
Jun Tianyun turned around his palm was covered with flames with golden sparkles. Jun Tianyun’s palm met the fist of the corpse demon and an explosion happened. Jun Tianyun and the corpse demon blasted back as the ground cracked. However, Jun Tianyun’s eyes narrowed as he saw a wound on his hand as blood dripped on the ground.
” Hoh, his nails are really sharp.
*GEGEGEGEGEGE*
The eerie laughter drifted out from the demon as it breathed crimson gas. It’s four arms were raised as it shot nails at Jun Tianyun. Jun Tianyun rushed toward the demon while dodging the nails. However, the demon disappeared as Jun Tianyun got covered by thick crimson gas.
” Fuck this Corpse Gas! This shit!”
Jun Tianyun controlled mana as he scattered the gas with a single clap. But the moment the egas vanished, The demon’s sharp nails already reached Jun Tianyun’s chest.
