Jun Tianyun’s face became serious when he saw attacks of Modar. He remembered the red energy blast from the memory fragment he had seen.
” That thing is too dangerous. I must not let it hit me.” Jun Tianyun’s body jerked as he dodged the red beams. However, The red beams looked alive as they are suddenly curved.
” Fuck, What the hell!”
Jun Tianyun’s eyes flashed as his Eyes of Fortune revolved. The area was filled with deep red and Jun Tianyun barely saw anything else. However, for a moment, he saw a flash of yellow rays. Jun Tianyun braved as he jumped there, twisting his body like a snake. The two red beams slashed in an arc. However, Jun Tianyun managed to dodge them.
However, it grazed over his shoulder and a deep cut appeared on it. Even with his speed, Jun Tianyun couldn’t dodge that attack fully. Modar’s eyes shone with a strange gaze.
” My, you are really full of surprise. I didn’t know a lowly mortal can dodge my great magical arts.” Modar starts to hover as the red beam again started to gather.
” Shit, that attack again! However, it will take a few seconds to fire it. I must kill him before that.” Jun tianyun’s eyes narrowed. Suddenly, His body blurred as he jumped onto the wall. Using the repulsive force from his legs, he made an attack toward Modar’s back.
Modar snorted when he saw that. ” Hmph, Trying to attack from the back? Naive!”
Modar raised his hands as the blood colored shield appeared around his body. Jun Tianyun felt a bit annoyed when he saw that. But It was already within the range of his expectations.
He jumped as he struck out his finger. The Yang diagram of the illusory flower in his dantian started to glow as a faint white radiance covered his finger.
“Supreme Yang Finger!”
Jun tianyun’s finger shone with brilliance as the room brightened up. Modar’s eyes were full of pride as he believed in his magic. However, the moment the finger poked the blood shield, Modar’s eyes froze.
The white rays spread over the blood shield like a corrosive acid as the shield started to crack. Modar couldn’t believe that his prized defensive spell was getting broken by Jun Tianyun. Jun Tianyun’s finger pierced through the shield of Modar it almost pierced his heart.

Modar cursed as he retreated hurriedly as winced in pain. The blood shield burst and made a shockwave. Jun Tianyun was cursed as he saw Modar manage to doge that attacks successfully.
Yang energy was the origin of the light source. To deal with evil spirits and ghosts, Yang attribute techniques or treasures are very effective. Its attribute can easily counter the dark attribute.
Jun Tianyun knew that Modar was an evil dark mage. So, he thought that his newly made attack will be good enough to thrash him. Jun Tianyun had mixed feelings. He was surprised to see his half-baked Supreme Yang Finger was effective, but, it fell too short.

Jun Tianyun sneered as he didn’t answer. However, his mind was rapidly calculating his next move. He knew that the power gap between both is pretty large. So, Jun Tianyun could not afford to be careless.
Modar snorted as he chanted some incantations. Jun Tianyun’s eyes narrowed as his Eyes of Fortune showed the rapid increase in crimson hue around him. Jun Tianyun felt great danger as he jumped from his position.
In the place where he was standing, a magical circle appeared as a crimson chai shot out, trying to capture Jun Tianyun. Jun Tianyun moved rapidly to get away. However, multiple magical circles appeared around him as the crimson chains shot from everyone toward Jun Tianyun.
He felt helpless as he realized that there was no gap between those chains. Jun Tianyun decided the brace for the impact as his Seven Star Divine Beast Exercise was pushed to its limit. With the defensive ability of Turtle stance and the strength of Elephant stance, Jun Tianyun’s man boiled inside him.
Modar’s eyes narrowed as he could feel the existence of mana inside Jun Tianyun. ” A mana user? Haha, Good! Very good! Your body is pretty perfect to conduct experiments.”
Jun Tianyun took a step back as he punched out. “Great Elephant Fist!”
Jun Tianyun’s fist landed on the chains. The first chain broke, but several others came to fill its position. Jun Tianyun tried to retreat, but the crimson chains already blocked his path.
“Ghost Binding Chains! Capture him!”
Modar controlled the chains as he smirked. He didn’t believe that Jun Tianyun could block his attack. Jun Tianyun clenched his teeth as he tried to find something.
” Oh! There is one!” Jun Tianyun realized that he still had a Fireball Talisman as he hurriedly tore it. The paper burst into flames and it turned into a ball of flame as it shot at the crimson chains. Modar’s eyes widened when he saw the fireball.
” Oh? Oh! A magic scroll? Haha, Good! Good!”
Jun Tianyun hoped that his Fireball Talisman would work. The flames burst forth as the chains sizzled in flames. Jun Tianyun could see that it dealt damage to the chains, however, it couldn’t able to break the chains completely.
The chains wrapped around Jun Tianyun’s body stopped his movements. Jun Tianyun could feel the strength of the chains. However, Jun Tianyun almost screamed as he felt like the chains were sticking to his skin like his skin touched hot iron.
Modar laughed as he felt his victory was already near. However, at that moment…
” You shall not hurt my master!”
Jun Tianyun could hear a howl of a fox as the eight-tailed snow-white fox attacked Modar from behind. Modar was stunned as he got distracted. The howl of Xiao Yue was effective as Modar’s focus went on Xiao Yue.
” Filthy Beast! Allow me to teach you some manners!” Modar snorted as he raised his hands. His body trembled as his face twisted in pain. However, His pitch black eyes looked at Xiao Yue as blood colored needles shot at her.
Xiao Yue’s tails swept as it made a silver colored shield around her. It blocked quite an amount of blood needles. However, Modar’s attack reached his body as the needle pierced his body. Xiao Yue howled in pain as her eyes were bloodshot. Her paws extended as silver lights slashed at Modar. However, for Modar, it was pretty easy to dodge such an attack.
But, Jun Tianyun was very happy when he realized that he got some time to think bout the next course of his action. ” Damn it, Even if that bastard if fighting with Xiao Yue, his Ghost Binding Chains are still binding me.”
Jun Tianyun cursed as his Celestial Comprehension activated. His mind slowly calmed as he started to think carefully. He could see that every time Modar uses a spell, and the aura around his body becomes faint.
” Indeed, His berserk energy isn’t something Hiroto’s body could hold. So, the more the fight drags, the more disadvantageous Modar will become.” Jun Tianyu pondered.
” However, Xiao Yue is already losing. Modar will never drag the fight. So, I have to kill him as fast as possible. Ugh, only if I had a good weapon…”
Suddenly, Jun Tianyun’s eyes lit up when he thought of a weapon. ” Indeed! How can I forget about that!” Jun Tianyun closed his eyes as he appeared in God’s Space. He could see a rusty, worn-out sword lying amidst the pile of other things.

The sword transformed from a useless metal into a beautiful sword. The surface of the blade looked dark Jun Tianyun could see white veins over it. Jun Tianyun could feel a strange energy from the sword, which even cause his mana to react.
Jun Tianyun picked up the sword as he swung it. The sword was light and fast, and Jun Tianyun could feel the edge of the sword slicing through the wind. JunTianyun was also surprised when he realized that his mana could flow inside the sword very well.
Jun Tianyun nodded in satisfaction as his eyes narrowed and a sly grin appeared on his face.
” Now, It’s payback time!”
Xiao Yue got blasted back as her snow white fur stained with bright blood. Modar’s attack injured her severely. She was very weak to get up on her legs as her eyes looked weak. Modar snorted as he stepped on her head. ” Hmph, Even my weakest mount back then was stronger than you. You thought you can defeat me? But, it doesn’t mean you are useless.”
” I can use your blood and should to me a good magical treasure. As for your fur…It might be a nice coat.” Modar grinned.
” But, You need to stay alive to do all that.”
Modar’s expression changed as he turned around. Jun Tianyun stood up as a sword appeared in his hand. Jun Tianyun twisted his hand as the sword slashed out.
” Grand Sky Sword Technique! Windrise Slash!”
The sword became like a silver blur as it broke the chain easily. Modar’s eyes almost popped out when Jun Tianyun’s sword broke his Ghost Binding Chains.
” Th-This! This is not possible!”
Jun Tianyun was also surprised when he realized that his mana was making the sword even sharper. The sword’s aura became strong as it easily broke Modar’s spell. While Modar was stunned, Jun Tianyun’s body blinked as he rapidly closed the distance between them.
‘The Supreme Yang Finger isn’t complete. It drained too much of my mana. Fuck this limit, only if it wasn’t here… But, I guess, with this sword, I can close the gap between our strengths.’ Jun Tianyun didn’t want to waste that chance.
Modar understood Jun Tianyun as his eyes narrowed. The aura around him burst forth as he was covered in dark red radiance.
Jun Tianyun gave a violent grin as he didn’t stop. Multiple blood red hands erupted from Modar’s back as they charged toward Jun Tianyun.
Jun Tianyun ran fast as he dodged them with his Eyes of Fortune.
” Rise of Storm!”
The sword rose as the wind blew violently. Jun Tianyun spun as he deflected those blood red hands. His sword became horizontal as it flashed.
” Final stance! Flashing Lightning!”
