This was the Water Empress, a fabled and legendary figure known throughout the entire cultivation world. She was also the only female monarch amongst the five nations!

As she continued streaming deeper into the city along the broad streets and to the awestruck faces of the people around, the Water Empress could feel the pulsating mark becoming stronger and stronger.
Her calmness and composure had never left her and she had always been in control of her emotions. At this point however, her heart was fluttering.
She was filled with anticipation and excitement. If only she could meet that interesting young man again, would there be more excitement and intrigue in her life?
"Eh?" As she passed a pair of merchants on both sides, the Water Empress froze in her tracks.
Soon after, her lips parted into a sweet smile.
She found him!
Just a short distance away from him, right in front of the pork selling counter. That butcher with a normal looking face who was clutching onto a butcher’s cleaver, was radiating with the mark she had planted all those months ago.
"Hua Wu Que, I’ve finally found you!" The Water Empress was giggling hysterically deep within her heart.
Even though Xu Que’s face had changed, the Water Empress could spot him and see right through his disguise at once. This was because she could recognize those glistening eyes. A person’s appearances could be altered, but his eyes can never deceive!
"For the eyes are the windows to a person’s soul!"
The Water Empress laughed out inside once again when she recalled the words Xu Que had spoken to her in the Soul Tower!
Indeed, Xu Que had been trying to court her then and had used a method which he learnt from the internet. "How much meat have you sold today?" The Empress asked again.
Xu Que touched the tip of his nose, "I didn’t manage to make a single sale!"
"Why is that?"
"Because you have come into the Imperial City and the commoners aren’t allowed to leave their homes." Xu Que replied without hesitation.
Everyone opened their eyes in shock. Fuck! What was this kid doing? Why was he being so honest?

The Water Empress didn’t seem to mind, for she had expected this as well. She looked at Xu Que and smiled before speaking, "Alright, I shall take two kilograms!"

"Not for sale!" Xu Que rejected her flat.
