Kain’s eyes snapped open in shock. She had heard! But why would she want to help him? She didn’t seem like the type to meddle in the search for a missing child that had nothing to do with her, and may even just be a misunderstanding.
Likely seeing the confusion and skepticism on Kain’s face, she continued, “I promise that my skills will be extremely helpful in the search for your sister.”
“And why exactly, would you do that?” Kain asked in suspicion, they weren’t exactly close. Nor did the Storm family live in the Southern region.
