Her lips curved in a gentle smile, but a terrifying chill emanated from Emilia's eyes. "That's fine. I'm not really interested in the words of a worthless man like you, anyway. I just… want to see your expression when you realize what you have done."
The man just snorted, giving her a derisive look. "Oh, and what is that? Did that cunt sister of yours get her face ruined good? Or better, is she dead? Hah… the bitch deserved it!"
Of course, he knew that the source of the White Deer's grudge against his son surely originated from the little bitch in front of him, and not the other girl. But surely, the murder itself had to be carried out on the orders of someone more in power, most likely that brainless older sister of this girl.
After all, she also supported the little bitch in the office that day, didn't she?
Emilia ignored his taunts as she smiled. "You're Braxy's dad, right?"
The man in the green jumpsuit chuckled. Did she think he would be disturbed by the fact that they managed to uncover who he was so quickly? He knew there were already people keeping an eye on him, so this was only to be expected.
This little bitch was just as naïve as she looked.
It was a pity that his son had been too pure of heart, and got ruined by the whims of such a spoiled princess of a brat. He couldn't help but regret not taking action after learning about her actions that day in the principal's office.

Even if he went to jail, or even got killed… the sacrifice would still be worth it. At least his son would be alive, and he knew that his wife could raise him well on her own.
Emilia chuckled. "Lost down the memory lane? Well, whatever. To be honest, it was quite admirable of you to go so far 'for your son', stupid as you are. Unfortunately, you ended up harming my sister, so my admiration for your fatherly feelings is a bit… lacking."
The man remained silent as he gave the girl a murderous look. 'This little bitch has some audacity to bring up my dead son's name over and over again! She's the one responsible for it all!'
His Braxy had been so good! A star at basketball, and a genius at school! In contrast, what did this little bitch have to offer the world aside from money and looks?
Emilia tilted her head while admiring his enraged expression. "How strange. It was your son who schemed against me first, you know? If his plan succeeded, both me and my friend would be dead. And yet—"
The man really couldn't take it anymore as he lunged towards her. "Stop slandering my Braxy!"
Unfortunately, his lunge failed as he was tightly secured to the bolted-down metal chair, and he could only stare at the young girl with his reddened eyes bulging in fury and madness, completely ignoring the cuts from straining against the restraints. Oh, how he wished to ruin her completely!
Emilia chuckled in amusement, making it clear that she wasn't taking him seriously at all. "Anyway, all we did was send him away to a place he could be kept away from me while staying within our sights. But barely had the boy left, that his father came trying to kill my big sister, ah."
The man's murderous glare remained unwavering. 'This stupid bitch thinks I'll believe in her lies? How could these ruthless bastards leave my son alive? If he was still in this world, would he not even give me a call for so long? Impossible!'
Emilia sighed. "Seems like we misunderstood that Braxy was merely assisting Don in petty revenge. The real reason for their actions was because of some deep-seated vendetta your family had against ours, wasn't it? We might have been far too lenient, after all. But thankfully, it's not too late to fix it."
She stood up from the chair and gave him a dazzling smile. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you get to see him perish with your own eyes, along with your wife. You 'deserve' that much, at least."
The man's eyes almost bulged out of his head in disbelief. It was impossible! He refused to believe it. She had to be lying!
But yet… what if… it was true?
"W-Wait! WAIT!"
Emilia turned around as she headed for the door. "Don't bother pleading, I just thought it would be interesting to look at your expression. Nothing you say will change anything. Both you and your son have made their point clear. I know you are a threat we can't ignore. My precious big sister only has one life, after all. If something happens because I was too merciful, it really would be too late to regret."
The man continuously struggled against the restraints as he tried to free himself desperately while watching the redhead leave. "N-No wait! Stop! I'll do anything! PLEASE! P-Please, don't hurt my son or wife!"
Emilia finally turned around when she got to the door, though her playful smile made it clear that it wasn't because she was willing to listen to his pleas. "This is only happening because of YOU, understand? Otherwise, do you think I have nothing better to do? Don't make me look like the bad person here."
The man's face had turned completely pale by now as the thought of having doomed not just his beloved wife, but also the son he had thought already dead finally dawned on him. "P-Please, I'll tell you everything! EVERYTHING! And then you can even kill me, torture me to death, whatever! B-But don't hurt them!"
Emilia stepped on the other side of the door, and the artificial white light of the room cast a halo over her crimson hair, giving her an angelic look as she smiled.
But the words she spoke were more akin to that of a devil.
"You should have thought about the consequences before setting your eyes on my sister."
And with that, the door slammed shut, leaving the man drowning in anxiety and terror.
