Luo Jianqing knew that he hadn’t asked Mo Qiu to come to the Northern Land of Arctic, and he believed that Mo Qiu wouldn’t cheat him on it. A year ago, when Luo Jianqing had left the Tai Hua Mountain, he had given Fo Zi two message tablets. One was to tell Fo Zi that he was setting out for the Northern Land of Arctic, and thus asked Fo Zi to send a message to Mo Qiu, while the other tablet was the one that needed to be transferred to Mo Qiu.
Luo Jianqing said, “I’m sure that the disciple of the Tai Hua Mountain has given those tablets to Fo Zi, and he could not send the wrong message.”
Mo Qiu said, “Something must have happened during the transferring.”
They turned into two lights and tried to fly out of the Northern Land of Arctic as quickly as possible. They didn’t know who sent this wrong message, but since he tricked Mo Qiu into this place, he must have some purpose.
Luo Jianqing was running Nine Heavenly Seizure Record in his body rapidly. Spurts of spiritual power formed countless small whirlpools and flowed into his body. Nevertheless, Mo Qiu didn’t think Luo Jianqing was quick enough. He grabbed Luo Jianqing’s wrist and flew ahead.
After they left the territory of the Feng Shen Sea, Mo Qiu found a secluded place as their shelter.
Luo Jianqing breathed lightly in the dark cave. He gazed at that serious-face Fiend Cultivator in red and said, “We cannot keep running forever. If we want to leave this place, given my current power and your help, we still need at least three days. We have to do something.”
Mo Qiu was drawing Hand Knack and a red ward instantly covered the narrow mouth of the cave. If any cultivator wanted to search this place, he could find nothing but a huge stone.
Mo Qiu said, “So, what’s your proposal?”
After a thought, Luo Jianqing said, “We both have a lot of enemies in this world, and they are not friendly to us. During the battle in Liu Yan Valley, we offended Duan Hun Sect and Bai’s Family and incurred their hatred.
Mo Qiu said, “I don’t think Duan Hun Sect and Bai’s Family have the capability to plant spies in the Fiend Palace, nor can these two ants shake the Tai Hua Mountain. Moreover, Gui Yuan Sect never goes along with them in these dirty things, thus above suspicion.”
Hearing that, Luo Jianqing’s face fell all of a sudden, “Demons.”
Mo Qiu looked up at him, “Exactly. I guess demons did that, but… I’ve never expected that they can install spies in the Tai Hua Mountain, Gui Yuan Seng or even Fiend Palace.”
It was not a pleasant news that the enemy had planted their spies in many territories, including the Tai Hua Mountain. But Luo Jianqing didn’t get panicked, and his beautiful face was so grave. After deliberation, Luo Jianqing said, “Since demons can change the content of my message tablet that has the ward of primordial life, they must have known that I am in the Northern Land of Arctic. But what’s their purpose to trick you here?”
Mo Qiu suddenly sneered, “Maybe they want to seize me as I’m important?”
Luo Jianqing was in no mood to joke, “Whatever, Mo Qiu, I believe that you have been tailed the moment you entered the Northern Land of Arctic. So, what’s our next move?”

Mo Qiu’s smile gradually disappeared.
Fifteen minutes later, a red light flashed out of the cave, followed by an indigo light in a trice.
They flew towards the opposite directions quickly, one to the east and one to the west.
As they flew out of the cave, an old man in black far from them was baffled and shocked. After a second of hesitation, he started to chase that red figure and ordered hurriedly, “I will go after the disciple of the Fiend Exalt, and you chase the disciple of Xuan Lingzi. Remember! I want him alive!”
“Yes, master!”
Luo Jianqing was right.
Mo Qiu had long been tailed by demons. Even before he entered the Northern Land of Arctic, just as he had left the Fiend Exalt, an old man with other five men in black had followed him.
Xuan Lingzi said that demons were extremely good at hiding themselves. Most of the demons who were able to disguise their looks were ninth-level demons, the equivalent to a Tribulation Passage cultivator! As they entered the cave, Mo Qiu removed his mask and began to take off the indigo clothes. Luo Jianqing also took off the blood-red dress and gave it back to Mo Qiu.
They had an eye contact and Luo Jianqing spoke first, “They want both of us, but you are more valuable for them.”
Mo Qiu sneered, “So, I am more important than you after all.”
Luo Jianqing ignored his stupid joke and continued, “Your instrument works quite well. It indeed can detect the trace of demons, but it also has limitations. From now on, the instrument is rendered useless, and we have to rely on our intuitions to tell their locations.”
Mo Qiu said, “I’ve got five demons to follow me yet you have only one. Are you sure they didn’t see through our trick?”
Luo Jianqing put on his clothes and said as he was tying the belt, “We are nervous, and so are they. Power is not always the silver bullet. Some high-realm talent has their own ace cards. I’ve been cultivating for forty years, having reached the middle stage of Out-of-Body, and you are half way to Body Fusion in fifty years. Mo Qiu, even if they are much more powerful than us, they cannot afford to underestimate our capabilities. That’s way they haven’t taken any actions yet.”
Mo Qiu was enjoying how Luo Jianqing putting on his clothes. After a long gaze, he said, “Then, let’s get down to making a plan.”
