"You will suffer the consequences of your own actions. Who can you blame for your suffering in the next life? Don't say that no one sees the cause and effect. It is far away from your children and grandchildren, but it is close to you. Don't believe in cultivating virtue and accumulating good deeds, but just look at those who enjoy themselves. If you did good deeds in your previous life and enjoy happiness now, you will sink into damnation if you do evil in this life..." "The cause and effect of the three lives cannot be explained in detail, but the heavens will not let down those who are determined. The public should be willing to spread the word, and print and distribute this sutra, and good fortune will come. If one person spreads the word to ten, ten spread the word to a hundred, and people understand the cause and effect and become good people. If everyone does good, every family will be happy, and if the true and false can be clearly distinguished, there will be eternal peace." The opening of the Three-Life Karma Sutra states: "If you want to know the cause of your previous life, look at the one who is experiencing it in this life. If you want to know the result of your next life, look at the one who is doing it in this life."
