“So you can now talk to trees and are now a Level 6 Ascendent?” Pickle Berry asked, and Lucy nodded with an embarrassing smile. The way Pickle Berry asked the question sounded funny.
“Just like humans and animals evolved when the apocalypse descended, the plants did the same. It’s just that most of the evolved plants are good by nature, and that’s why we haven’t seen a tree monster yet.
But they are there, I can feel them… calling to me. When everything is done here, I will take a trip to the Amazon rainforest and some other woodlands to see my people.”
“Your people?” Klaus’s mom asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Yes. I am a Sylvan, so basically, I am a plant in human form. If I turn a blind eye to the plants’ calling, I will betray the Mother Tree. That is not something I want to do.”
The ladies understood her reasoning. It was just that calling herself a plant didn’t sit well with them, like how they wanted it.
But hearing what she said, they also understood she wasn’t the same human anymore. She is now a Sylvan, a Plantkin.
She had become a Sylvan, someone blessed by the Mother Tree. If she wanted, she could go live with the trees because, naturally, she would feel more welcome there than among humans.
But she wouldn’t go live with the trees because she has sisters and family who are humans, and they like her for who she is.
Though she can’t ignore the call from her kin, she won’t go live with them.
She is actually much more expectant of what she will find when she heeds their call. She will now wait for her sisters and friends to finish their awakening.
A day passed after Lucy’s awakening, but none of her sisters or friends showed signs of awakening.
Meanwhile, Klaus and Lunara continued to explore the red planet, going slowly to ensure they didn’t miss anything.
“I have a feeling something valuable is here. However, I can’t seem to find it,” Klaus said, walking beside Lunara, who was also doing her best to help her man.

“Plus, the moment your new subordinate completes their awakening and transformation, you can use them to search for it. I’m sure more hands on deck will speed things up.”
Klaus nodded at her words. They continued for hours until suddenly Klaus sensed a change inside the Multi-Dimensional Cube.
“One of them is ready for their tribulations,” Klaus said. They stopped and then entered the cube, appearing inside a domain of ice where Tess, the ice banshee, had been training for the past month.
“Are you ready?” Klaus asked, and she nodded.
He waved his hand, and they appeared back on Mars. The moment Tess appeared, the entire three miles of her surroundings turned cold and froze.
Klaus and Lunara moved back.
“Looks like her understanding of ice has reached a terrifying stage to be able to freeze such a hot planet,” Lunara said, and Klaus nodded and smiled.
“My Ice is just at the Realm stage, but I have a feeling she is already at the Initiate immunity stage.” Klaus smiled and created a throne. He sat down and made Lunara sit on his lap.
Up ahead, the tribulation crowds continued to form.
“I have a feeling that when this tribulation is over, Earth will have two powerful ice beauties,” Klaus said, watching the Ice banshee.
Tess is Anna’s companion, and Anna was the Ice Queen in her past life, so the same thing will happen to her, just like what happened with the Queen of Vines.
