Klaus’s ladies were waiting for him when he left that morning, just saying he would return in the evening.
Naturally, Hanna told them something was wrong with him, so they used the Paragon Mark, and truly, they could tell he wasn’t alright.
But they allowed him to go so they could plan what to do when he returned. They are his women, so making him feel good is their responsibility.
However, eight hours later, they sensed a powerful fluctuation in the air, which caused them to look into the distance.
Naturally, Queenie saw it was Klaus, so she used the Paragon Mark to vanish. His sisters did the same, shocking everyone present.
Hanna gritted her teeth, not having such an ability. This made her realize what had to be done to get her share, for she could tell every last one of Klaus’s ladies became different after spending their first time with him.
Luckily, Kathy was fast, so she picked her up, and in a few seconds, they closed the distance.
Queen Lunara and Old Lu also left, leaving the safety of the camp to General Dane and War God Henry.
When they arrived, they saw Klaus sitting in a lotus posture with a powerful beam of light bathing him.
Strangely, hovering before him was a little girl, not more than five years old.
When they arrived, they saw she was forming hand seals. After a few moments, she pointed her finger at Klaus, making a green spell diagram appear beneath him and on his forehead.
The little girl was drained, so she fell.
Instinctively, Queenie moved and caught her just in time for whatever was happening with Klaus to start.
His body was covered in green scales, causing the space around him to start warping as if space and reality were not stable there.
Queenie and the others moved back, distancing themselves from Klaus for a moment.
“What a cute little girl!” Lily said, staring at the beautiful, small face now sleeping peacefully in Queenie’s arms.
“Where did she come from?” Anna asked, causing everyone to turn and look at Klaus. They really didn’t know where the small young girl came from.
Klaus never told them he had any small child somewhere, so this was shocking to them.
“Where was the snake around his neck when he left?” Nia asked, forcing the ladies to turn and look at Klaus again.
Like she said, the snake was no longer there.
“You don’t think this little girl is that snake,” Lucy said. The ladies turned and looked at each other before Lily gently pulled down the collar of the silver gown the little girl was wearing.
“No way. She is the snake.” Her expression was one of shock. On her chest are silver scales just like the ones on the snake Klaus brought back yesterday.
“How can a Tier 1 snake take on human form and a good one at that? Just who is this little girl?” Lulu commented, looking at her sisters and then the sleeping little girl.
“Why don’t you ladies pay attention to her rank again?” Queen Lunara said, making them sense her rank once more.
“Wow, she is already Tier 4. I could swear the snake Klaus brought yesterday was a Tier 1. Just how did she become Tier 3 in less than a day?” Lucy asked again.
“More importantly, we all saw her form hand seals, right? Just how can a little girl do that?”
The question being asked kept making the ladies wonder just where the little girl came from.
“You all are asking the wrong question. We all know this little girl was the snake Klaus brought yesterday. The question should be who she is to him,” Nari smiled.
“Is she like our daughter?”
Her sisters looked at the beautiful sleeping faces, and a lovely smile appeared on their faces.
“She looks lovely. I wouldn’t mind her calling me Mommy,” Lily said.
“I call dibs on Mama.” Nari wasn’t taking no for an answer.
“Relax, since I was the one who held her first, I should be the Mama; you ladies can take Mommy and the others.” Queenie laughed, but she had no plans to hand the little girl over to any of her sisters.
“You all are weird.” Suddenly, a voice spoke, sounding like Klaus.
They turned, and indeed, they saw him smiling at them but still seated in a lotus posture.
“Klaus…” Their faces brightened even more.
“Queenie, my love, can you hand her over for a bit?” Klaus said, and Queenie flew toward him. She gave her to him reluctantly before flying back.
When Klaus held her, Pickle Berry opened her eyes and looked at him. This made the ladies wonder if she was just faking her sleep.
“Are you ready?” Klaus asked, and Pickle Berry nodded.
“Very well.” He sat her down in front of him and formed a hand seal, making an identical spell circle appear beneath her.
“I will form the connection now,” Klaus said, and Pickle Berry nodded. A few seconds into the process, Klaus touched her forehead, making the two of them enter a trancelike state.
Five minutes later, Klaus opened his eyes, but this time, Pickle Berry passed out.
“Queenie, take her away. I will be here for a while, so look after all.” He paused and looked into the puppy eyes that were looking back at him.
“You all should look after her but don’t spoil her. Also, don’t make my mom aware of this development.” Klaus smiled, knowing how his mom would react.
The ladies nodded, and without even wasting time, they flew away, leaving only Old Lu and Queen Lunara.
“Uncle Monk, I will transfer their training regimen to you. Ensure they start training from tomorrow. I will take over when I return.” Old Lu nodded, and Klaus formed a hand seal, transferring his plans for his team to his Uncle Monk.
Old Lu nodded toward Queen Lunara and flew away.
“You can come closer. I will be sealing this place, and you wouldn’t want to be on the outside.” Queen Lunara didn’t hesitate and flew close to him.
Klaus waved his hand, and a tool that looked like a painting brush appeared in his hands. He then started drawing in the air. A few minutes later, many runic marks appeared.
He formed a hand seal, which formed them into one large rune. He channeled his energy into it, and it created a dome around them.
The moment he was done, he closed his eyes and fell back.
Queen Lunara was quick, so before they could land on the ground, she caught him.
Thus, Klaus would spend the next month resting in the arms of a queen.
