Looking at Xiao Yeyang’s smiling face, Daohua always felt like he was pretending to be at ease, but since he didn’t elaborate, it was not her place to ask further.
This guy, in reality, cared a lot about saving face.

Daohua gritted her teeth, “Thank you ever so much.”
Xiao Yeyang replied with a smile, “You’re welcome.”
Seeing her fourth brother, who was already drunk, Daohua shook her head helplessly, “We should go down now.”
Xiao Yeyang nodded, glanced at Defu, who immediately jumped down from the roof holding Yan Wenkai with agile and graceful movements, which impressed Daohua greatly.
“Shall I carry you down too?” Xiao Yeyang asked Daohua.
Daohua shook her head, “If I could climb up, I can climb down.” With that, she wobbled towards the parasol tree.
Xiao Yeyang watched her climb onto a branch before he jumped down from the roof.
While descending the tree, perhaps due to the alcohol, Daohua wasn’t fully focused and accidentally stepped on her skirt hem. She wobbled, then fell from the tree.
Xiao Yeyang, seeing this, was startled and hurried over, catching Daohua in his arms. Due to the force of the fall, he spun several times while holding Daohua before finally stabilizing.

Xiao Yeyang carefully set Daohua on the ground, then checked her complexion. Seeing she was only slightly startled, he finally felt relieved, “Don’t climb trees again in the future.”
Daohua covered her pounding chest and didn’t speak.
Seeing Daohua silent, Xiao Yeyang grew concerned, “After you go back, have your maid make you a bowl of Calming Soup to drink before sleep, understand?”
Daohua nodded hastily, “I’m going back now.”

She loved to play and was bold; something like climbing to the rooftop to admire the moon would definitely interest her.
