When he opened his eyes, Xie Zhao had returned to the year 1983.
That was the year when the wealthiest family in Hudong County, the Chens, found their real son, and he—the imposter—was driven back to Shishui Village.
He couldn’t believe that the parents who had once cherished him like a precious jewel no longer wanted him. Could it be that the eighteen years of affection had all been a lie?

His wife lay quietly in bed, her face ashen.
Two little children, their bodies covered in blood, lay silently in a wooden tub beside the bed. They had long since closed their eyes, no longer breathing. They were a pair of adorable little girls.
From that day on, he lived in hell for the next thirty years, each day worse than death.
When he opened his eyes again, he was back on that fateful day.
Xie Zhao made up his mind:
Even if he had to go bankrupt, he would find a way to raise money and send his wife to the hospital!
He would treat her well for the rest of her life!
And he would give both his wife and his biological parents the best life possible!
