In the game, there's a limitation in each version. No one would be able to level up beyond level 20 and no one would be able to promote their class to mid-level class. The players will get stocked at level 20 and Rank 3 low-level class. That's the cap of version 1 of the game.
But Souta currently didn't have those limitations. He could level up beyond level 20 even though it was still version 1. His class also advanced to a mid-level class like Battle Mage.
He also had a universal grade artifact with him and a dark grade weapon. This made his overall power become something that couldn't be matched by other monsters of the same level. The only ones who could match him were the players, unfortunately, there's no player in this world besides him.
Overkill. One word to describe how strong he is compared to the second evolution monsters.
The Freezing monkey was confused as its fist stopped before it could reach Souta's face.
"Go back..." Souta muttered and the monkey flew away before crashing on the ground creating a small fissure on it.

The [Gravitational Ball] spell was a versatile spell that could do both attacking and defending. Souta could use the ten fist-size black balls to control the gravity to a certain degree.
As for how Souta escaped the three trait skills of the second evolution monsters. He could give the credits to the black balls behind him.

It was the first time he saw a dominating second evolution goblin. He knew that the goblins were weak creatures in their first few evolutions. So it was truly a sight to see a goblin like him crushing other monsters easily.
Raeshka just glanced at the Goblin Executioner without saying anything. She too wanted to keep Souta in this place and add him to her force but she already gave her words that he could leave this place if no one managed to defeat him among the second evolution monster of this place.
'Hmm...? How could I make him to willingly stay in this place?' Raeshka thought as she continued to watch the battle. 'He's intelligent compared to other second evolution monsters. Is this also the effect from living with humans and demis?'

Yuko used her strength to carry the giant crocodile and smashed it on the wolf.

She then raised her head and saw ice particles forming into spikes above her. After a few seconds, the spikes shoot towards her.

She rolled her body to the side and avoided the ice spikes. She was about to turn her head to find the monster that shoots it but she felt pain on the side of her stomach.

A dinosaur-like creature with a huge head called Snowprey was biting her side. It was the one who shoots those ice spikes at her.
Yuko opened her mouth and bit the neck of the Snowprey in response.

She then wrapped her arms around the neck of the Snowprey and lifted it up.

Yuko smashed the Snowprey on the ground repeatedly. She only stopped when she felt the Snowprey released its jaw on her side. After that, she stomped the neck of the Snowprey and opened her mouth widely.
[Burning Shout]!
Flames burst out of her mouth and it swallowed the head of the Snowprey.

Yuko looked at the other monster around her. The mana inside her body burst out of her body. She didn't have great mana control like her master but she still could somehow use it to strengthen her attack and defense.

Souta activated a skill that could let him shared his senses with his beast companion. He could also share his mana with her if she exhausted her mana. If he level up this skill, then he could even combine his skill with her to create a new powerful skill.
Most of the tamer like him tamed a small flying monster that could scout or survey the area stealthily.
Souta knew that her performance was great as she already defeated a few second evolution monsters. He wondered if there were skills of spells that he could transfer to Yuko so that she could grow stronger.
He will try to learn more skills in the future before he evolved and once he evolved he will transfer those skills to Yuko. He will try to find a skill in the institute that was compatible with her style.
While Souta was contemplating what he should do in the future, the monsters around him were attacking him nonstop. They were trying to break his defense.
Flames, ice spikes, water blow, wind cutter, etc. were all flying towards him but none of those trait skills managed to pierced the gravity field around him.
Souta glanced at them and thought that he should end this battle. He tightly clenched his fingers around the handle of the vajra sword as he poured his mana in it.
He swiftly slashed the sword in his hand to the nearest monster.

Blood spurted out and the freezing monkey fell down on the ground. Souta avoided hitting the vital parts of the freezing monkey. If he intended to kill the monkey then the elder treant would stop him. He wouldn't be able to kill anyone under the watchful eyes of the elder treant, a fourth evolution monster.
[Cat's Speed]!
[Agility Boost]!
He silently activated the combat arts and spells that could increase his speed. He then stepped forward and used [Dash] skill.
Souta arrived in front of the giant lizard. He used the [Crimson Moon] equipment skill to damage the lizard.

His skill knocked out the giant lizard easily. He couldn't knock it out if he used a simple [Crimson Moon] skill. But if he coated the sword with his mana and added it to the skill, the skill would grow stronger. Saya taught him this technique last time when he was fighting Gregory. A sword stopped behind Souta before it could cut his back. A goblin corruptor was the one who's holding the sword.
"I told you. It's futile." Souta turned his head and looked at the goblin corruptor. He smiled and pointed his finger downward.
"...?" The goblin corruptor looked down and saw tentacles emerging from the black ground.

The tentacles bound the goblin's feet. It then smashed the goblin repeatedly on the ground.

"Hehe~ let me end this farce." Souta laughed maniacally as he opened his arms widely. Countless black tentacles emerged from the ground along with his laugh.
He used his [Shadow Bind] spell to the limit as it drained a lot of his mana. Then, countless black spikes burst out of the ground. The [Shadow Spike] spell was a very useful spell. It would pierce the body of the monster that has a weak defense just like the freezing monkey and goblin corruptor.
"Go down!" Souta grinned widely as the ten fist-size black balls on his back flew in the air.
