Alarms rang out heavily across the Willow Tree Stronghold as Ascendant Gem Masters moved towards its walls, their gazes shrouded in darkness as they observed a devastating scene outside.
A Tier 6 Breach, where they had a few hundred Gem Masters stationed around, was now overrun with Beasts that were moving on four limbs with verdant scales- looking very similar to oversized crocodiles!
Around them, waves of humanoid creatures resembling goblins of horror could be seen- their skin sleek with green and black texture as there were tens of thousands stretched out in this army.
An army that at its forefront…held a Beast Lord grasping a golden skull.
He seemed like a titanic version of normal Goblin Beasts, his dark green skin radiating a poisonous hue as he currently laughed boisterously while gazing at imprisoned Gem Masters who were captured around the Barracks of the Tier 6 Breach.
“Kakaka! I detest killing in all forms so…I won’t kill you all. I’ll even give you all a chance to survive!”
His eyes held a devilish glint of madness and cruelty as he looked at a few Gem Masters glaring at him while controlling their fear. freeωebnovēl.c૦m
The Beast Lord let go of the golden skull in his hands as it floated in front of the 8 captured Gem Masters that ranged from Tier 4 and 1 Tier 5 Ascendant Gem Master.
“Alright, so long one of you grabs this skull here and smashes the head of the one next to you, you get to go free.”

The light of cruelty in his eyes only became stronger as he watched the faces of the Ascendant Gem Masters turn ashen.
Around them, they were encircled by thousands of Goblin Beasts and four-limbed reptilian Beasts as there was no way out for them- their life force already spent!
Their eyes held a tremendous sense of loss that when the Beast Lord known as Dread saw, the light within his own eyes shone with great enjoyment.
He looked up towards the distant walls of the Willow Tree Stronghold as there, he could see two Tier 7 Ascendant Humans gaze towards him while gritting their teeth- a man and woman with silver hair and dark eyes!
He seemed to be mocking them with the scene in the midst of his army as he prepared to siege their city.
It was two Tier 7 Ascendant Humans, and yet Beast Lord Dread wasn’t the least bit worried.
“Well? What will it be? The other option is for all of you to be eaten by these hungry guys around me, or out of the mercy of your own hearts…you can sacrifice yourselves for others to live. Choose.”

His eyes were filled with malice as he waited.
He saw the hesitation in their eyes as the few odd Gem Masters looked at each other, and ultimately…
“We will not fall to the whims of Beasts. Much less a Beast like you!”
WU!
Their defiance was united.
Dread looked at this scene as the smile on his face instantly faded away; these humans were not playing his games as he wished to!
Normally, one would take a step and bash the heads of another in, doing something irreversible as amidst his horror and regret, thinking he would at least live…Dread would also kill them right then and there to feel the last piece of horror, regret, and dread within their eyes.
But they did not do this.
“No fun.”
He snorted as his voice boomed out, the golden skull floating near the Human Gem Masters radiating poisonous green flames from its jaws that latched on to the group of Gem Masters like vines, voices of horror and death echoing out as they were burned alive!
Beast Lord Dread looked at the distant city walls with a sneer as he pointed towards them and bellowed out.
“You all…are next! Become fuel for my little ones, become the sustenance that makes them even stronger!”
HUUM!
As he spoke, greek smoke billowed around him as dark green skeletal creatures began to rise.
They looked like unholy abominations- massive in structure as they towered above 10 meters, and there were 12 of them!
Their bones shone with obsidian green luster as they looked like massive skeleton knights, bone shields and swords in their hands dripping with poison as they gazed menacingly towards the distant city walls.
“Summon…fuckin’ Undead! Ka ka ka!” Beast Lord Dream bellowed out while raising his hands with valor and victory, his army roaring out around him as they were further bolstered by the massive Skeleton Knights!
Their appearance caused the Tier 7 Gem Masters on the walls of the Willow Tree Stronghold to turn somber as each of these 12 Skeleton Knights…seemed to emanate a power that was immensely close to spilling towards Tier 7.
With them being undead creatures, it was simply akin to this enemy commanding nearly 12 Quasi-Tier Entities!
How were they to survive this?

Night came and went.
In the early hours of the day as the rays of a distant sun broke through scattered dark clouds, Alexander was already floating on top of the City of Anan.
He looked at the distant city below him, the throngs of people and Beasts down below, and it all caused him to think of too many things.
A different perspective in life.
Flying so high above them, they all seemed…so small.
But how different was he compared to them?
He thought of this for a few seconds before he shook his head and called out towards a few connections of his Minions.
He called out towards Claire and Azazel, as well as the two Beast Lords and two Orc Minions!
1 Tier 6 Peacock Minion was sent towards Carthage to ensure the safety of his father if any other roaming armies of Beasts came, and one was left in Anan along with the first set of Minions that Alexander could cut off at any time to make space for more powerful ones if need be.
In a matter of seconds.
Those he called out to blazed with power and began to appear in the skies around him!
