The Tier 5 Ascendant Gem Master rose in shock and trepidation at the speed of this entity floating in front of their tower.
He had only seen a glimpse of light a few miles away with his amplified sight, and yet a second later, this being crossed that distance to appear right in front of his Defense Tower!
DING DING DING!
Alarms were automatically set off as after this being appeared, crimson light flashed to his left and right as dazzling figures of two extremely similar women appeared.
The vivacious women caused the eyes of all men in the Defense Tower to be momentarily dazzled and go blank before they refocused.
One of the women had a lovely and exquisite look that made one inherently want to protect her, while the other held a regal coldness akin to an ice queen that was unapproachable!
But apart from their beauty that could make some of them weak in the knees, the Seven-Link Gem Sockets on their bountiful chests caused them tremendous alarm as their bodies began to cycle Energeia.
The Tier 5 Ascendant Gem Master was a middle-aged man with dark hair, his eyes showing a gaze of great alarm and valiance as he crushed multiple gems under his robe while voicing out.
“What is your purpose?! Who are you?!”
The voice carried innate authority within it as it didn’t freak out entirely even while standing before two humanoid entities that seemed to be Tier 7 Gem Masters.
His gaze was flickering between them and the man who floated ahead of them, his green robe causing him confusion as this…was this not the same design of the battle robes of their Asmodeus Bloodline?
But regardless, he had already sent forth alarms and warnings.
Along with the blaring sounds, a heavy convergence of power could be felt as from all directions of this vibrant and yet cold Stronghold, auras of Gem Masters began to come over as if they were facing a great enemy.
Alexander didn’t reply as he watched this scene play out, while behind him, Anastasia merely blinked with a smile as in her eyes, she could pulverize all of these humans with a tap of her finger with the power her Ascendant Master gave her!
Vishpala simply stared at the walls of the city she was supposed to conquer with melancholy as she sighed.
Within seconds, nine Tier 6 Gem Masters appeared from different directions of this Stronghold, while from the peak of the white mountain…a blazing figure wrapped in purple radiance came forward!
A sea of purple light gathered at his feet.
Adorned in purple battle robes, his aura was the strongest as his chest shone with seven circular glows that showed he was a Tier 7 Gem Master.
He appeared like a storm of lightning above the defense tower as he looked closely at Alexander and the two terrifying auras beside him while uttering out cautiously.
“Who are you?”
The same question.
One that Alexander finally answered as he looked calmly at this Ascendant Gem Master and those around him.
They were entities…that he used to look up to in awe.
Those belonging to the Ascendant Branch of the Asmodeus Bloodline!
But at this moment, they seemed incredibly average to his eyes.
“I am Alexander. Alexander Asmodeus. Are you the Lord of the White Mountain Stronghold?”
…!
He stated who he was, and the moment he did so, the gazes of the gathering Gem Masters were incredulous.
He…was of their own Bloodline?
The Tier 7 Gem Master especially felt stifled as he seemed like he was looking at a young man- and yet this young man didn’t show any ounce of respect or decorum while he spoke to him!
But looking at the two Tier 7 Entities beside him, as well as the experiences he had over the years, he replied calmly as well.
“I am. What brings a delegation of a human claiming to be of our Bloodline and…two Beasts to the doors of our Stronghold?”
Even as he spoke, countless messages were already exchanged as behind him, hundreds of Airships carrying weapons pulsing with Energiea were already gathering and pointing their targets towards their direction!
The aura of Beasts was unique.
Especially one as overpowering as the two beside Alexander.
It caused them trepidation as they knew very well that a single Tier 7 Beast of Corruption could be a match for multiple Tier 7 Ascendant Human Gem Masters.
And there were two before them!
Yet Alexander didn’t bat an eye as he looked around the converging forces and spoke out slowly.
“You must have received word from the City of Carthage, yes?”
…!
The message his father had sent out as the Branch Leader.
Hearing this, the eyes of the Lord of this Stronghold shone with an even more powerful light as this involved very sensitive matters!
Alexander looked at the change in expression as he nodded while gazing at the Gem Masters around them.
“There are many prying eyes, and we do not know where their allegiances lie. Why don’t we talk somewhere more private?”
…!
The words caused many eyes to shift as a Tier 6 Gem Master came close while voicing out with caution.
“Lord Tavu, this is likely a scheme to get you alone! Please-”
HUUM!
The purple lightning around the Lord of this Asmodeus Stronghold flashed brilliantly as he raised his hand.
All conversation died down.
He gazed into Alexander’s eyes deeply before he looked down at the Defense Tower below them, his body descending towards it as he sent a command to those within.
“Clear out.”
…!
He wouldn’t lead them into the Stronghold.
Nor would he see them outside of it.
So he chose the Defense Tower atop the white wall of the Sanctified White Mountain Stronghold.
Above, Alexander’s figure also went down without worry as he- who was unawakened just days ago in the Mortal Branch of the Asmodeus Bloodline, was meeting with a Branch Leader of one of the Ascendant Branches of the Asmodeus Bloodline!
