The Legends that had stood against the onslaught of Beasts of Corruption and carved out areas in their World of Ephesus that stood tall to this very day.
He may just be starting out, but he had more Gems socketed than even these Legends!
This realization.
This moment when a tide of Beasts came towards him, his Father, and many other Gem Masters of the City of Carthage…this moment caused a sensation to be amplified in the depths of his mind.
The sensation of confidence.
This whole time, things were murky and filled with uncertainty.

There was a lot of careful consideration and hesitation in his actions as there was still a lot he didn’t know!

So he closed his eyes while sitting atop an Arctic Wolf Beast of Corruption who had tendrils of blue lightning constantly crashing around it.
The lightning didn’t harm a hair on his body as due to its sheer power, there was nobody around him.
Feeling the fur of the Beast of Corruption on his feet, he still felt a sense of revulsion and hate even towards this Beast below him, but he gradually changed his mindset as he began to look at this Beast that was now considered his minion along the lines of….a tool.
A weapon.
Humans used the Ascendant Life Gem and bodies of Beasts of Corruption were turned into weapons or technology of innovation to make themselves stronger.
The Minions he could use with his newest Gem Recipe- he would look at them as weapons that he was using himself.
His senses moved from the vibrant fur vibrating with frost and lightning and expanded all around him.
His father was in the skies held up with coiling flames as a dozen flaming lances had already appeared around him, his gaze solemn.
Branch Leader Axel was even higher up as he faced two Aerial Beasts of Corruption.
Alexander closed his eyes as he sensed all of this, along with the tide of Beasts coming towards them as he called out towards the skies.

But someone that had been waiting for any sign- any indication whatsoever to not sit still heard it.
And as if she was an arrow that was just knocked from a bow, an incandescent cerulean flash of lightning instantly appeared above Alexander- forming into the shape of a young girl in a green battle robe as her dark hair danced with lightning at this moment!
Her hands were stretched out before her as she roared out with every ounce of Energeia she had, her Gem Sockets on her chest buzzing as in front of her- hundreds of lightning bolts formed and surged out towards the oncoming tide- condensed towards the very center of these Beasts where the Tier 4 Beasts were coming from.
Her other hand was stretched above her as a passing lightning bolt formed- its speed blazing as it spun like a drill and surged towards the Lightning Mantis facing Branch Leader Axel!
The Five-Link Gem Master, Claire Asmodeus, finally entered the fray.
BOOM!
With the growing confidence of his own power, as well as his own worries towards this girl, he found it was now a viable time to allow her to run free.
She already blamed herself as the cause for all of this, so she had to grow her own combat power and mentality to overcome whatever else was coming as he couldn’t always shield her behind him!
She had the talent others didn’t.
He wouldn’t hide her under the guise of protection and cause her brightness to dim.
And at this moment, she shone brilliantly in the skies even though above, her father looked towards her figure with despair as he seemed to be asking her why she would come here.
But Alexander looked at these worries as unfounded, purely because…he was here.
And the pain of loss he and his father were put through. The pain of losing a loved one without ever seeing them again.
He would make sure nobody close to him ever felt this pain again!
HUUM!
His eyes opened wide.
Tendrils of the blue lightning around the Arctic Wolf coiled around Claire harmlessly and pulled her near him as his voice was slow.
“Stay close to me.”
His dark pupils seemed to shine with strength as beside him, the Golden Flame Lion pushed off the scorched earth and flung its enlarged body towards the newly appearing Tier 4 Ascendant Gem Master and the Beasts of Corruption surrounding it in the skies.
The massive Arctic Wolf did the same, and as the bodies of these two minions surged forward, more changes were already unfolding around them as the rest of the support Gems were placed on his Enneagram for the Minion King Gem Recipe.
