Chu Shuran had not slept well over the past few days. The moment she closed her eyes, she was reminded of Yao Jingu.

“Please display your membership card!” The security guards at the door uttered coldly.
As the staff members of the River City Royal Club, they were not beholden to anyone!
Chu Shuran and her father displayed their membership cards and successfully entered the club.
This time, they had made an appointment with an expert at the club to seek out some clues through the other party’s network.

Those experts seemed to be staring at them from the darkness.

Mr. Chu looked around. Seeing that no one was around, he said in a low voice, “I know of him, but he probably doesn’t know me. That man is the one behind the Royal Club!”
Chu Shuran’s body trembled and her beautiful eyes were filled with shock!
She had heard of the various terrifying things about the Royal Club since she was a child, but she had never actually laid eyes on the person behind the Royal Club!
Yet now, that very person was actually standing not too far away from her!
Mr. Chu looked at Chu Shuran with a deep gaze and continued, “Shuran, don’t be fooled by his hunchbacked look. He’s actually a martial arts grandmaster! He’s very strong! This is also one of the reasons why no one dares to mess with the Royal Club. Of course, this is not the main reason…”

Ye Chen did not take it seriously though, and walked directly over to the main door. However, he was quickly stopped by four security guards.
“Please display your membership card!”
Ye Chen did not have a membership card. Just as he was about to take out his phone to call Ye Lingtian, a figure quickly walked out from inside.
When the security guards saw the figure, their eyes shrank and they quickly bowed respectfully. “Chief!”
However, the man did not even look at them.
Instead, he walked over to Ye chen and said with a smile on his face, “Mr. Ye… Is that you?”
Ye Chen nodded.
The man was a little surprised to hear Ye Chen’s words of affirmation.
The man had been asked to wait for a man surnamed Ye and to serve him attentively. He had thought that it would be a middle-aged man who showed up instead of someone so young!
The person in front of him was probably only around 20 years old.
He really could not figure out why he would be asked to personally attend to such an trivial-looking person. He even had to wait for the other party at the door!
However, since ‘that person’ had already given him instructions, he naturally could not say anything more. He just had to serve Ye Chen attentively.
Perhaps this kid was the illegitimate son of ‘that person’?
