Oris burst through the deck of a ship, soaring up into the sky and making a fluid loop before stabilizing himself. Behind him, a bloodied woman with bird wings tore through the deck as well, with eyes ablaze with anger and hatred.
Like Oris, the woman could also manipulate space. Their battle had been heated ever since they crossed paths with each other several minutes ago, but throughout their clashes, Oris had set and maintained the tempo of the battle. There was no chance for the Demon to hold initiative in a fight against Oris. Whatever light injuries she had inflicted onto him, he had easily been able to heal with his innate regeneration, even without help from his master.
“DAMN BIRD!” The woman screeched and her wings flapped, sending her shooting forward at breakneck speed.
Oris flapped his wings and the space around his was instantly smoothened, making it much harder for the Demon to maintain the bubble of loose space that she used to travel at such fast speeds.
“ARGH!” The woman’s temper exploded as she sent a barrage of spatial attacks to Oris, but Oris easily defended or dodged the dangerous blades of cracked space, while sending his own barrage at her. Screams burst out of her lips as the space around her cracked and exploded, covering her body in a new wave of fresh cuts.
The corners of Oris dark face curled up in a twisted smile as he dominated the Demon in the spatial field. He was about to land the killing blow when he suddenly felt a rush of danger assault his senses.
Whoosh!
A pillar of fire rushed sideways and consumed him. The air burned under the sweltering heat for the next few moments before the attack passed. However, there was nothing there…
Oris appeared a dozen meters away from his previous position, higher up in the air as he looked over the area. From the distance, a red haired Demon with four horns sprouting from his skull rushed in their direction. His outstretched arm still had wisps of flame dancing over his palm and fingertips.
Oris narrowed his eyes at this and gathered power in his body. The feathers on his back and wings grew taught and gleamed like black steel under the bright sunlight as the air around him seemed to flow like liquid.
CAW!!!
With a deafening screech, the Dark Wing Eagle’s body blurred, turning into a streak of black light as he shot forward, heading right for the fire wielding Demon. In his wake, a line of cracked, broken space lingered for a few moments, before vanishing, fixed by the mana that held together the seams of the world.
The red haired Demon noticed Oris’ actions moments before Oris activated his sudden acceleration and burst into flames. In a second, he had turned into a being made entirely from red fire, and continued his charge at Oris.
Red and black charged at each other from two directions, slamming into each other and colliding, leading to a massive energy explosion of insane proportions!
“Argh!” The red haired Demon was sent flying into the distance. He could not regain control of his body until a gust of wind wrapped around him, stalling his fall and holding him up in the air. His body was covered in a multitude of injuries, and he was bleeding badly. His left arm hung limply by his side as a wide trail of blood ran down and dripped from his fingertips.

Beside him, a green haired woman floated. Her green hair waved wildly in the air, exposing the two short horns that were hidden by her luscious hair. Her sharp green eyes glanced at the red haired man as he pulled out a healing potion and quickly drank it. His injuries began to heal quickly after drinking it. Coupled with his innate regeneration as a Demon, the potion made the damaged muscles in his arm heal almost five times as quick!
On the other end, Oris had only stumbled back for a few meters before taking control of the space around him to stop his uncontrolled spiral. Compared to the Demon, he had been damaged less, but his injuries were still quite serious.
As a Pseudo A rank being, it took a lot to beat him up. The extent of his injuries showed just how powerful the Demon had actually being.
Oris felt a wave of mana pour into his injuries, and they rapidly healed, restoring him to peak condition in a few seconds. Leon had sent that wave of restoring mana, and it burned Oris heart to think that Leon had to step in. But he quickly adjusted his mindset. He needed to finish this quickly in order to make his master proud!
CAW!
Oris let out a rage filled screech as he gathered another mass of mana within his body. This time, he wanted to conjure a massive spatial bomb that would ravage anything within its range with spatial blades.
“We need to stop it!” The Demons noticed the swelling mass of mana that was gathering within Oris once again and quickly jumped to act.
The green haired mage excelled in Water and Wind magic, while the red haired mage excelled in fire magic. The two of them were very familiar with each other and their fighting styles. They immediately worked together to blend their spells together, complimenting the other’s attacks and spells.
Arrows of fire that were boosted by a vicious wind soared forward as the sought to spear through Oris. The Dark Wing Eagle quickly noticed these arrows and put up spatial barriers in their paths, while also manipulating the space around the arrows to make it harder for them to move.
He also moved his body, the space around him warping to allow him move at heightened speeds. However, he was interrupted as he was suddenly assaulted by an unforeseen spatial bomb!
Caw!
Oris let out a pained screech as his right wing was forcibly torn off by the spatial currents that assaulted his body.
