After that initial Mark for Death, the boss would repeat it every 30 seconds. Needless to say, a ranged attacker fell each time. It did not take long before Happy Drunk bellowed for more reinforcements.
Fortunately, this was where The Aristocrats did their grinding. Within two minutes, more than two hundred new members of The Aristocrats had rushed to besiege the boss. However, these players were relatively lower in levels. They were earning more Misses than single digit damage.
“Demons! Give me strength!” When the boss finally lost half his Health Points, he roared to the sky. His horse suddenly made a wild bound.
“It’s coming!” Jiang Fei straightened up.
“Boom!” Ou Leba touched down. A shockwave of cloud, dust, and death flew across him.

“Ding! Your teammate XXX has been slain!”
That single War Stomp had struck all six tanks, including Master Wei. They stood no chance. One of the unlucky ones even got a critical hit and instantly kissed the ground!
The boss’s health shot up by another 5 percent. But the boss was not finished just yet.
According to the system, the boss would immediately trigger Sunder right after War Stomp. It was cold-blooded and ruthless. It completely ignored the remaining Health Points of the opponent and brought death upon them, based on the current percentage of their health. As long as the players were five meters away from the boss, the boss would ignore the defense of players who had their Health below 40 percent and directly kill them!
War Stomp fell upon the midst of the players. The boss proceeded to continue attacking the players as if his normal attacks had not be interrupted by the slightest. Apparently, skill cooldowns had nothing to do with normal attack intervals. Even with more than 30 healers behind, those two attacks came down at the same time, giving them no chance whatsoever!
All five remaining tanks lay dead. Master Wei could not possibly retain 40 percent of his Health Points after taking 3000 damage!
“Damn it!”
Happy Drunk barely stopped himself from snapping his bow in two. Just a moment ago, they had almost left the boss half-dead. He was already preparing to separate his victory. It had all changed with a single leap. All tanks were dead, and the boss’ Health was back to 80 percent!
“Run!” Happy Drunk swiveled around. He was the first to flee. There was no point continuing this. The tanks were dead, and the ranged attackers were sitting ducks. The boss could basically overheal himself at this point!
“Hehe, War Stomp and Sunder used simultaneously. I’m starting to like this guy!”
Jiang Fei nibbled on a straw, letting it hang between his lips like an old farmer.
Charge!
With nobody left to hold the boss in place, it went on a rampage. Players fell to the left and right. Occasionally, he would send an arrow flying with his Mark for Death. Jiang Fei’s eyebrows went up his hairline.
My, my, what an efficient killer! On the other hand, Happy Drunk was dying. Not because the Boss was firing at him. He was dying of a broken heart. He was fleet-footed and had outran everyone else, but more than 20 of his members now lay dead.
What’s more, these were all the elites in the guild. Master Wei and the other tanks had died twice and already lost two levels. Now, their levels had fallen to 19, and they had no Boss kill to compensate for it. If they attempted the Elite Mode Dungeon now, their competitors would leave them in the dust. What a lose-lose situation!
“Big brother, are we still going to fight?” Master Wei asked.
“What fight are you talking about? Oh, you mean this massacre? Are you even able to tank it?”
Happy Drunk had completely lost his cool. This Leader Boss was simply too overpowered. If you did not have a Level 25 tank with a full set of blue equipment, just do the right thing and walk away!
“Sigh…” Master Wei’s lips turned down. At Level 21, he had been instantly killed. Now, he was 2 Levels lower. What chance did he have?
“Forget it! Let’s go level up!” Happy Drunk forcefully threw his head back, as if he was trying to throw away his bad luck.
“Eh, you guys gave up?” Jiang Fei asked, with a smile on his face.
“Hehe, at least you got to laugh, brother Ah Fei. This boss is way too powerful, we can’t defeat it…” Happy Drunk said, embarrassed. After all, he had just chased Jiang Fei away just now, afraid that Jiang Fei would steal his loot. It had only resulted in massive losses on his end. He was so embarrassed that he could die!
“Don’t give up so quickly. How about this, I’ll defeat this boss for you guys, and we’ll split the drops fifty-fifty. What say you?” Jiang Fei said, smiling.
“Hehe, brother Ah Fei, you must be kidding…”
Happy Drunk shook his head. What a joke. So what if by the off chance, which he did not believe for a single moment, that Jiang Fei could tank this boss? Even if that was the case, Happy Drunk had no cause to cooperate with Jiang Fei. This boss was in his territory. They could always try again in two to three days.
“This boss drops the Territory Order!” Jiang Fei finally dropped the bomb.
Again, the mysterious ring had saved the day. It enabled guilds to build their own castles!
Building your own castle and having your own territory was not just a symbol of honor. It had very real effects. Castles could reel in taxes, and territories provided resources. These were very real benefits. The sooner a guild had its own territory, the more advantageous it was. If the other guilds could not keep up, they would be left far behind by the guilds with territories!
“Are you for real?” Happy Drunk grabbed at Jiang Fei’s arm excitedly and asked.
“Of course!” Jiang Fei nodded. The ring had only mentioned that there was a ‘chance’ of dropping it, but Jiang Fei had ridiculously high luck after all.
“Brother Ah Fei! If the boss really drops the Territory Order, you can have everything else. We only want the Territory Order. Annnnnd if it doesn’t drop, we’ll give you a tenth of everything! What do you think?” Happy Drunk said after some consideration.
The items dropped by a Leader Boss were almost priceless, but Territory Orders made national treasure look like poop! Happy Drunk may be a rare item junkie, but even he would drop them in a heartbeat if presented with a Territory Order. Of course, if it did not appear Jiang Fei’s fifty-fifty proposal was unacceptable.
“Deal!” Jiang Fei joyfully agreed. With his high luck, the Territory Order would most definitely drop. There were no two ways about it. Since Happy Drunk was willing to give him everything but that, Jiang Fei readily accepted it.
