“Goodness… The Demon Race has always been dumb. Now we have incestuous offspring. How dumb are you going to be?” Jiang Fei mumbled to himself.
“Little monster, what are you?” Dhakasoron asked with his head tilted at an angle. He poked Jiang Fei with his finger yet again.
“Me? I am a human adventurer!” Jiang Fei dodged his thick finger while replying him.
“Human? Adventurer? What is that? Is it tasty?” Dhakasoron asked curiously.
“Not tasty! Not tasty at all!” Jiang Fei said as he nodded frantically. He was afraid that this giant would stuff him down his throat as an appetizer!
“I don’t believe you! I want to try! I am tired of eating dog’s legs all day!”
Dhakasoron said as he tossed the huge beast’s leg to the side. He reached for Jiang Fei.
“Oh shit! Huge belly, tiny-ass brain! That’s all he is!” Jiang Fei’s chest tightened. If this fellow really attempted to attack him, he would be done for.
“Just one second!” Jiang Fei shouted urgently as Dhakasoron lifted his hand.
“Eh? What’s the matter?” Dhakasoron really did stop, and he looked at Jiang Fei curiously.
“You cannot eat me! I know your father!” Jiang Fei blurted out frantically.
“Ah? Do you really know my father?” Dhakasoron’s huge face was suddenly leveled with Jiang Fei’s.
“Your father is Ulysses, isn’t he?” Jiang Fei said. The Mysterious Ring was once again a life-saver.
“Ah! You really do know my father!” When Dhakasoron heard Ulysses’ name, he immediately believed Jiang Fei. He was just as gullible as a pre-schooler.
“Yes! Yes! I am a good friend of your father’s. You should call me your uncle!” Jiang Fei was enjoying this. He just loved taking advantage of the naive.
“Yes, uncle!” Dhakasoron was truly obedient.
“Good boy!” Jiang Fei nodded as his mind started racing to come up with more tricks.
“Uncle, can I have a taste of your flesh to know what it’s like?”
Apparently, this dumb beast prioritized eating over his relationship with his supposed uncle.
“Your mother!”
Yet again, Dhakasoron lifted his huge hand.
Jiang Fei was truly panicking now!
“Hold on!” Jiang Fei shouted loudly.
“Ah?” Dhakasoron was stunned as he paused, yet again.
“I have something even more delicious!”
Left with no choice, Jiang Fei came up with the most sadistic of all plans.
“What is this great thing?” Dhakasoron asked dumbly.
“Just you wait!” Jiang Fei said as he retrieved a treasure that was the size of a human head from his spatial ring.
Gnome Destructive Setup (Mechanical Setup, Ancient Inheritance)
Use: After 30 seconds, all targets within a thousand meters are dealt with 100,000,000 damage points! The targets closer to the Destructive Setup are dealt with greater damage!
Inscription: Dear enemies, perish with me in eternal flames!
Remark: This was one of the greatest achievement of the Ancient Gnomes. It was set up at the center of the Gnome’s city as a last resort against enemies. When the Gnome’s city was conquered, the helpless Ancient Gnomes would detonate the Destructive Setup in the heart of the city to kill their enemies!
“You dumbass! I had only planned to trick you into letting me go. I can’t believe that you are so determined to eat me. Don’t blame me for being merciless!” Jiang Fei mumbled to himself.
Dhakasoron had nearly 90,000,000 Health Points. Using this bomb to kill him would not be too much of a waste!
“What is this?” Dhakasoron asked dumbly.
“It is something delicious!” Jiang Fei said as he laughed.
“Oh? Can I eat it?” Dhakasoron’s saliva was dripping out from his mouth as he spoke.
“It is for you!” Jiang Fei said with a nod.
“Then give it to me, quickly! I want to eat it now!” Dhakasoron said eagerly.
“This is good stuff. Not everyone can eat it. It must be given to someone smart!” Jiang Fei said as he shook his head.
“I am very smart! My father always praises me!” Dhakason said solemnly.
“Alright! I’m telling you! You cannot chew on this candy. You must suck on it in your mouth. There might not be any taste in the beginning. But magic will happen after a while!” Jiang Fei spoke as if he was trying to trick a child.
“Alright! I will remember that!” Dhakasoron nodded enthusiastically.
“Here, take it!” Jiang Fei activated the Gnome Destructive Setup before passing it over.
“Alright! Alright! I promise not to chew!” Dhakasoron carefully used two fingers to place the Gnome Destructive Setup in his mouth.
“Do not chew!” Jiang Fei was afraid he would break the Gnome Destructive Setup.
“Mmm, no chewing…” Dhakasoron mumbled.
“Come! Good boy, say goodbye!” Jiang Fei was thrilled that Dhakasoron did not destroy the Gnome Destructive Setup in his mouth.
“Why is that?” Dhakasoron asked, confused.
“Stop talking nonsense. Hurry up and say goodbye. You are running out of time!” Jiang Fei urged him.
“Oh! Goodbye!” Dhakasoron said very obediently.
*Boom!*
As soon as Dhakasoron spoke, 30 seconds had passed.
A blinding white light flashed once before disappearing. It was almost immediately followed by an even brighter flash of white light. It filled the entire world with whiteness. Jiang Fei could neither see anything nor hear anything.
“Ding!”
HIs body momentarily glowed in a golden light as Jiang Fei’s life-saving trump card was activated. The resonance from the explosion alone was sufficient to kill Jiang Fei instantly. If not for the life-saving effect of the Blazing Hammer, Jiang Fei would have turned into ashes!
The explosion had only taken an instant. In just two seconds, Jiang Fei regained his vision. The entire valley had vanished!
Jiang Fei found himself standing in a vast crater. His feet were wet, as underground water seemed to have seeped out. Not far away from Jiang Fei, Dhakasoron’s huge body lay unmoving. The explosion had taken his head off.
After rubbing his eyes, Jiang Fei examined his battle records.
