467 A Kingdom of Darkness
A few seconds passed, but now that all my senses weren’t working, it felt like an eternity.
Do you know how frustrating it is to try and move your hand, but you can’t even tell if it’s moving or not? Or when you can’t even differentiate whether you have your eyes opened or not?
I tried to shout, but I couldn’t even feel my mouth, much less my tongue. Voice? I wonder if I managed to shout properly. Still, I wasn’t able to hear a d*mn thing.
At first, I was in denial, thinking that this situation wouldn’t last that long. However, it seems even my sense of time was stripped away. It felt as if I had been standing in place for hours on end, without a single chance in my situation.
As this situation went on, I started to go into panic mode. I guess that’s the most natural response when you get all your senses sealed at the exact same time for an extended period.
As I was trying to flail around, suddenly, all my senses returned one after another. Along with my vision and my sense of smell, taste, and touch, I could finally hear a familiar voice coming from a little distance away.
“L-Leader! Are you alright?! I, I’m sorry for what happened!”
“Fang…? How long was I…”
“About a minute. I fixed it up as soon as I could get a grasp on its control.”
It felt like I hadn’t seen her for hours.
Soon enough, I realized my current pose. I was lying down on the hard ground, as if concrete but in the color of shadows, with my arms and legs pointing at awkward angles. Was this from my attempts to move my body?
I quickly fixed my posture, standing up and acting as if nothing happened. Then, after regaining a trace of composure, I finally got the chance to look around.

Are my eyes still not working? No, wait. I could see Fang clearly, so I’m sure they’re working. However, other than her figure, everything else was pitch black. Only our figures stood out in this completely dark space.

Although in mine, you can see the floor and a set of furniture, Fang’s space was literally nothing but darkness! It was to the point that I couldn’t even tell what was anywhere besides us.

Ember’s Kingdom was practically specialized for comfort, manufacturing, and lodging. Igni’s was practically uninhabitable but could adjust the flow of time inside it. And now…

Fang’s kingdom seemed impractical at first, but upon closer inspection, it was OP! If she can bring an enemy into her kingdom, they will lose all senses and end up unable to do a single d*mn thing, just like I was earlier.
In short, as long as she can drag her enemies here, then her victory is practically set in stone! A perfect way to render an enemy powerless while she retains her strength and power!

I could only fear the thought of Fang waving her daggers while I was flailing around like a baby, rolling around on the ground… Brrrr!
We spent a little over an hour exploring her abilities while inside.
Fang could disable, enable, or overload any senses of the enemy. From the five senses, sixth sense, sense of balance, and common sense (this one didn’t make sense), she could manipulate all of them.
The last one, in particular, was pretty brutal. Without common sense, one would turn into an idiot, literally. Unable to even use skills, walk straight, think for one second, and even forget to breathe… Yes, I was the one who tested it and suffered.
It was so disorienting that even after she stopped limiting my common sense, it felt like some aftereffects were left over. I didn’t become an idiot after that, right…? Wait, who said I was already one?!
After checking the limits of her kingdom, we quickly got out and informed everyone else of the good news.
“Congrats, Fang! I knew you could do it! Now, you’re a step closer to reaching my level! Ehe~!”

The succubus girls were already back by the time we got out, and they were already done preparing dinner. To celebrate the two’s achievements, I decided to splurge a little and take out some of the most prized foods and drinks that I was keeping in my [Spatial Storage].
“Tonight is a feast! Everyone, let’s enjoy the food and drinks!”
Of course, even though I didn’t take out any alcoholic drinks, some still managed to pop on top of the table from who knows where. Was it Ember? What was she doing?

The feast went on past midnight, and everyone was practically enjoying it their own way. After the drinks got to their heads, chaos started to envelop the venue, however.
Shouts and jeers, congratulatory salutations, and light chatter mixed into one big noisy mess. Clothes were flying here and there, while jiggly mountains were covering all angles of the dining hall. It was a “feast for the eyes” for me.

And then, as the chaos was reaching its peak, two pairs of peaks blocked my view, sending my vision into oblivion.
