When did she manage to create that many clones? And she’s controlling all of them? How is she even doing that? I could only do 100 clones at most, and that’s already pushing the limit. Fang could do even less, only using 50 clones.
About an hour later, we finally caught up with our live enemies. Rather than catching up, it would be more appropriate to say that the demons were trying to eliminate Azrael’s retreat, circling to the part that he already cleared.
“Looks like it’s finally our time to shine! To battle formations!”
Ember and Igni stood upfront, with Fatima and Fina at the back. I was standing in the middle, while Fang had already dived into the shadows. Just like that, we were all ready for battle. .

It was fortunate that there weren’t that many, or else we would’ve had no choice but to retreat. As I lowered my stance, Fatima dealt the first blow. She fired her right-hand rifle, letting the bullet pierce through the Death Knight-looking god-level demons’ essence crystal.
Just like that, the crystal broke and scattered into the air. At the same time, the Death Knight’s body began to disintegrate into powder, disappearing completely with the wind.
“One down! Reloading!”
Fatima, the one with the lowest level among everyone, managed to take down a single god-level demon like that!
“Girls, we can’t lose to Fatima either!”
Igni was the first to charge forward, a fierce smile covering her face. As the one possessing the highest level among everyone, at the 8th stage, it was appropriate for her to take the lead.

From left to right, there was the large green slime, with skeletons inside its body; the gigantic undead wolf, looking like a holy beast with its purplish white fur; the apparition-looking one, with a scary face crying tears of blood; and finally, a rough minotaur-like shapeshifting demon.
Igni didn’t hesitate to come within their attack range, since her tough scales could protect her from most damage as long as they were physical. In terms of defense, she was the top among the girls, no doubt.
“You sh*theads! Take this!”
Each time Igni waved her claws, causing the black and white flames to begin to spread to the four demons. In just a few seconds, all of the god-level demons were burning brightly with Igni’s flames!
“I’ve initiated the aggro! Now, attack!”
After making sure that the four were focused on her, acting as the tank, she kept dodging and blocking any attack that came her way. Due to the white part of the flames burning the mind, the demon’s thinking capacity became a lot lower.
It was to the point that they forgot to even use their skills, only waving their arms, weapons, and other parts just to strike Igni randomly.
“Nice one, Igni!”
Ember quickly followed, slamming her exoskeleton’s fist straight toward the skull of the wolf-like demon. The fist landed, letting out a soft thud. The attack didn’t seem effective at all!
“Perish!”
But then Ember triggered the mechanism of her exoskeleton armor. The fist thrust forward with explosive power, releasing a squishing sound as the first went through the head, destroying its brain.
“One down!”
*BANG!*
“And another one!”
Fatima, who finished reloading her rifle, fired another bullet. This time, her target was the ghost-like monster, shattering the exposed Essence Crystal in the middle of its forehead.
The other one, the minotaur-like demon, suddenly had its head fall to the ground without warning. Fang, who had been lurking within the shadows the entire time, came out at the opportune moment and lopped off its head.
“That’s one from me, Leader!”
Seeing that the other three managed to take down a god-level demon each, Igni didn’t want to lose. She focused on the slime, activating her signature flame.
“[Ignis Faatus]!”
The slime burned brighter than before, slowly melting away, or rather, evaporating from the extreme heat. In just seconds, all five god-level demons had been dispatched.
“Well done, everyone!”
I applauded. Looks like there’s no problem with our teamwork at all!
