To address that, I pulled in the entire Cleaver Kingdom to participate in creating bullets. Despite them losing a lot of lives during the previous attack, their population was still over 1 million. However, this time, the production of casings was the one that wasn’t able to keep up.
Together with the dwarves, we spent a total of three days addressing this problem, creating a proper mass production facility for the various bullets. Her satellite, which was now working without any problems, revolved around the planet at the rate of 10 revolutions per day. Ah, by the way, calling it “planet” all the time was tiring, so we adapted the name it had back in Fatima’s time. They called the planet “Hargoth” back then.
Anyway, back to the report. From what she could observe, the Empire finally began its march.
They had a grand total of 50 million tamer soldiers ready to fight. Among them, there was a small group of 50,000, all equipped with guns. That was almost equivalent to all the guns that Ember had released, both domestic and international.
Furthermore, there’s another group composed of 1 million that were equipped with an attempted copy of the rifles. Although Ember already gave her analysis of it, saying that its performance was less than 10% of the guns she made.
Furthermore, the bullets they made were extremely volatile. It had a chance of self-exploding even without someone touching it, causing a high number of casualties during testing.

Ember, as expected of her, already marked the location of their exit on a globe she made. The location was roughly a hundred kilometers further south of our country. It was quite the distance, but it was just barely outside of detection from the God tamers.
Having nothing better to do, I turned on the computer on my desk and tuned it to the satellite’s live display. Since it was using the feed from the satellite, I could watch it regardless of the specs of my computer.
In the middle of barren land, a group of tamers were in a circular formation, firing their rifles around and clearing the nearby demons. Judging by their uniforms, it was without a doubt the soldiers of the Empire written in Ember’s report.
After each volley, they would simultaneously reload before firing again, doing that for ten consecutive shots before changing clips. In that short time, they had already spent 500 thousand bullets. Talk about being luxurious.
“Hmmm?”
But after a closer look, the demons didn’t fall in one hit. The bullets they fired were weaker than usual.
“They’re probably using their unstable bullets…”
Anyway, they began to surround the area of the exit point, creating a safe section that demons couldn’t approach. It didn’t take them five minutes before they managed to secure a ten-
kilometer radius around them.
“As expected, despite being led by a rotten leader, the Empire’s soldiers got some skills.”
Just like that, their 50,000 members slowly spread out, securing more and more land for their main army. Then, suddenly, the ground below some of the soldiers exploded, causing severe injuries to a number of them.
“It looks like the traps were working fine. Will they notice it?”
Looking at how they reacted, pulling their injured allies back while carefully filling up the gap, it seems like they didn’t think it was a trap but rather an accurate attack by a demon. After retreating, they began treating the injured, returning him to full health in seconds.
That small explosion didn’t budge their formation at all, but still, it managed to make them use several batches of healing skills. That should exhaust them a little, right?
After that, they stepped on traps more and more frequently. They began to doubt the source of the attacks but still failed to realize it was coming from below their feet. Ember’s landmines are basically undetectable, after all.
It doesn’t give off a single drop of energy, making it practically invisible unless they have metal detectors with them. What? Of course, it’s energy-based. It’s not like we can randomly create gunpowder explosives without related knowledge… I do know the recipes and their ratios, but I can’t make the products from raw materials. I should’ve read books related to such things in the past. Well, it’s not like I predicted I’d be going to a world without gunpowder anyway.
Fatima, too, had no idea how to make gunpowder. By her generation, energy-based weapons were already mainstream. There were still random atomic bombs in the possession of some countries then, but that’s not gunpowder-based anyway.
