The golden sigil behind me was one of my Blood Traces glyphs that featured the immortal turtle. The light it gave off blocked the invisible waves of suppression coming from Lady Luo’s skill. It was to the point that I could move unhindered once again.
The voice that I heard in my head resembled the one that I heard a month ago when priestess Harumi performed some sort of skill on me. It was the voice of the one who had an overbearing presence like a large mountain.
“Brother, who are you, and why are you helping me?”
I asked just in case, not expecting an answer to be returned. However, to my surprise, the voice responded to my doubts and answered.

As the voice echoed, the radiance that the sigil exuded became stronger. Now, not only was it protecting me from the suppression of bloodlines, but it even made everyone else kneel. Only Goddess Vermeil was the least affected, unlike when she was hit by Lady Luo’s suppression.
Vermeil tried to grab my shoulder, but the golden light sent a wave of pressure, sending her gliding backward for a few steps. Lady Luo, who ended up kneeling on two knees while carrying her daughter, glared in my direction.
“You…! How did you overcome my bloodline suppression?! You should have Luo blood too, so how?”
I’m not sure if that was a rhetorical or genuine question. Either way, I don’t have an answer to that. However, as expected, Lady Luo did possess some form of bloodline suppression of a high level, enough to send a god tamer to her knees.

I looked around; everyone but Goddess Vermeil was kneeling on the ground. She was trying to approach me but was getting sent back by pinpoint shockwaves released by the golden sigil.
Apart from the golden light, I could see a hint of green light in my view. My eyes may have turned a glowing green color now, but I have no way to confirm.
“Brother turtle, what should I do next?”
Honestly, I have nothing to do with this situation. The mysterious voice of the man behind the turtle glyph was doing all the work here. It took a few seconds of silence before he started speaking again. ．

When the noise died down, his words echoed, giving me 15 seconds left on the clock. While thinking, “Bah, just wing it!” I waved my sleeves, stood straight, placed a hand on my waist, waved the fan with “Unmatched Under the Heavens” written on it, and lifted my chin.
I made my eyes squint a little as I gazed at Lady Luo and Goddess Vermeil side by side. Then I started muttering words that sent goosebumps across my skin.
“Cease this foolish action. You can’t fight against the suppression of a god.”
As I finished my cringe-worthy line, I tried to maintain a straight and serious face. At that moment, as if to support my statement, Brother Second increased the power of the golden light, weighing down on the shoulders of everyone present.
Even Goddess Vermeil was sent down to one knee after that last wave.
Goddess Vermeil, Lady Luo, Guren, and Priestess Harumi all stared with wide eyes. They, who had felt the suppression of other god-tamers before, couldn’t deny that it was completely identical.
Vermeil quickly fought back the suppression with her own, creating a safe area around her, including Lady Luo, Ying Yue, Wan Li, and Wan Er.
“It’s really God’s suppression! But how?!”
Goddess Vermeil shouted in confusion. I was nothing but a fourth-stage tamer right now, but I was releasing the aura of a god. Although, in truth, I was just a puny cat borrowing a lion’s skin.
Goddess Vermeil remembered how I sent her keeling over, injured, with a single tap. With that, she genuinely thought I had the power of a god and was hesitant to continue fighting.
Seeing that nobody else inside the room had any will to fight anymore, Brother Second’s time limit came to an end. As if it were all a lie, the golden sigil faded and the suppression vanished completely.
Although I wanted to say my thanks, I could no longer feel the presence of Brother Second inside my head. He must’ve been returned to the black space where I first saw them.
On one side, there’s Vermeil, placing the others behind her defensively, and on the other, there’s me, who was still acting high and mighty despite the aura already disappearing.
Our two sides maintained the stalemate, and anxiety, wariness, and fear filled the air.
At this moment, a crack in space suddenly appeared between us, and from it, a blue-haired man appeared with a smile.
“Hey, Will. I finally had some vacant time, so I came. Wait, Raven?”
God Zeshion appeared suddenly, together with the Goddess of Space, Zeta. He slowly scanned the place, noticing the weird atmosphere, and frowned.
“Did I come at a bad time? Then, go ahead and continue, please.”
God Zeshion took a folding chair out of thin air and propped it to the side. He then sat down and took out juice and popcorn as he watched. Completely in spectator mode.
Zeta, behind him, was holding her head while sighing. I could feel just how much she was troubled by her master’s actions.
