“The Emperor of Red Silk Country recently auctioned off a massive portion of his personal resources in exchange for an Emperor Rank Jade,” Fan Hao explained. “He has invited Lu Tian, a newly advanced Emperor Rank Blacksmith, to forge a Royal Sword for him.”
Kent instantly recognized the name.

Kent stepped up to the grand doors and knocked.

The servant snorted. “Master Tian doesn’t see commoners. Turn around and leave.”

Kent sighed and flicked several mana crystals into the servant’s hand.
The servant grinned, pocketing the bribe before nodding.
“Fine, follow me.”
The servant led Kent through a lavish courtyard to an elaborate hall with golden pillars.
“Wait here.”

“Go back. Master Tian isn’t seeing you.”
Kent frowned. “Just like that?”
“Master Tian said he doesn’t see nobodies. He doesn’t take disciples. Get lost.”
At that moment, an elderly man in crimson robes stepped out from the hall, his eyes sharp as blades.
“Who is making noise outside?”
The servant quickly bowed. “Master Tian, this man is trying to seek apprenticeship under you.”
Kent immediately stepped forward.
“Master Tian, my name is Kent King. I seek to be your disciple.”
Lu Tian’s expression twisted in disdain.
“What random brat dares to claim such nonsense?”

“Then look at this.”

Kent’s expression darkened. “Master Tian, if you accept me, I guarantee that—”
“I SAID GET OUT!” Lu Tian roared.
His voice shook the entire courtyard, and his aura suppressed everything in the area.
Kent’s fists clenched.
“If you reject me today, remember this moment. One day, you’ll regret it.”
Lu Tian’s eyes flashed with irritation.
“If you don’t leave in the next breath, I’ll report to the Emperor and have your entire family exterminated.”
Kent sneered. “Try it. You should know that my grandfather is Kumar King.”
Lu Tian’s gaze hardened for a split second before he waved a hand.
“That old man’s name holds no weight here. Leave.”
Kent took a deep breath, suppressing his boiling rage.
“Fine, Lu Tian. I understand.”
Turning around, Kent walked away, his mind already spinning with new plans.
Kent King had barely taken a few steps away from Master Tian’s residence when he saw a familiar figure approaching from the opposite direction.
A woman, draped in luxurious silk robes, her presence radiating elegance and pride—Princess Chi Kai, one of the most sought-after beauties in Red Silk City.
She was accompanied by a young man, his posture confident and his face brimming with arrogance.
The moment their eyes met, Princess Chi Kai’s steps faltered slightly.
“Why are you here?” she asked, narrowing her eyes.
Kent King smirked, bowing slightly as a courtesy. “Greetings to the princess.”
Before Chi Kai could reply, a Royal servant hurriedly interjected, his voice dripping with mockery.
“Sister Princess, this one called Kent King was here to beg Master Tian to take him as a disciple.” The servant scoffed, then added in a gloating tone, “He even went as far as to threaten Master Tian, saying that if he refused, he would regret it for the rest of his life and master might die of regret.”
Kent’s expression darkened.
His gaze turned sharp, and the air around him grew heavy.
“Did I ever say that?” Kent’s voice was calm but laced with danger.
The Royal servant swallowed nervously but still maintained his mocking stance.
“You’re just a nobody, Kent King. You dare to threaten Master Tian? How old are you? Do you think you can kill someone in his own house?”
Kent King took a step forward, his golden eyes flashing ominously.
“Believe it or not, if you continue running your mouth, I will end your life here and now.”
A wave of murderous intent spread from Kent’s body.
The Royal servant paled, his breath hitching in fear, and instinctively took a step back.
Princess Chi Kai stepped in quickly, raising her hand to defuse the situation.
“Kent King, get out of here right now and don’t disturb Master Tian. You’re only asking for trouble.”
Kent King chuckled.

The disciple, Lin Hao, stepped forward, sneering as he glanced at the King Rank Sabre in Kent’s hands.

Kent King simply smirked, unfazed.
He casually swung the sabre once in the air.

“You better.” Her tone was firm, but there was now a trace of doubt in her eyes.
