The structure hummed with latent power as it steadily moved toward the Storm God’s realm, carrying within it the enigmatic Kent and his companions.
However, the grand hall’s heart was eerily silent. Inside its central chamber, Kent sat cross-legged on eternal lotus flower surrounded by an ethereal golden glow.
Before him floated second fragment of the Poison Tome pages, their edges flickering with venomous green and purple energy, pulsating as if alive. These were no ordinary pages—they contained the distilled wisdom of the universal Poisons, each brimming with secrets and techniques that could alter the very fabric of life and death.
Kent’s eyes were shut, but his mind raced at a speed that defied mortal comprehension. Within his consciousness, an infinite library of poisons, their recipes, antidotes, and effects unfolded like a blooming lotus.
His thoughts moved as if they were flames, consuming knowledge faster than any human could. His hands, though still resting on his knees, occasionally twitched, as though his very soul were practicing the alchemy of poison in some otherworldly realm.

In the corner of the room, the baby dragon, curled up in a ball, stirred at Kent’s words. It let out a small puff of smoke and glanced at its master with curious eyes but quickly returned to its nap, sensing the intense energy surrounding him was far beyond its understanding.
Unbeknownst to Kent, his hands had begun moving in sync with his thoughts. Invisible cauldrons, flames, and ingredients seemed to manifest in the air around him as he mimicked the gestures of concoction. His fingers traced patterns with precision, shaping theoretical toxins with a grace that could only be described as divine.
“If faced with Scarlet Devourer Poison…” Kent mused aloud, his voice dripping with certainty. “Counter with a direct injection of Azure Bloom Dew. But if the poison is mutated… yes… add a fragment of Voidstar Root. That stabilizes the victim’s mana flow and prevents organ collapse. Elegant. Efficient.”
A surge of light burst from the pages, and the Poison Tome seemed to tremble as if acknowledging Kent’s mastery. The golden glow around him intensified, illuminating the entire chamber. If the Poison God had been present, he would surely have been rendered speechless—or perhaps unconscious—at the sight of someone effortlessly unraveling his life’s leanings in mere hours.
As Kent’s enlightenment deepened, his mutterings turned more profound, almost philosophical.
“All poison… is balance. A balance of death and life. It is not about destruction alone. The antidote is merely the other side of the blade… the yin to the yang.” He chuckled softly, his voice tinged with amusement. “The poison god said it was hard and impossible task. But, I grasp in moments. But why? Why is this knowledge so natural to me? Is it fate, or something more?”
His thoughts briefly drifted to the Poison God himself. “You must have a big motive to give me this. I really wonder what your plan is.”
Suddenly, the golden glow around him flared, and the Poison Tome let out a resonant hum. The final pages of the tome began to merge, twisting and folding into a single, pristine page. It floated gently toward Kent, coming to rest before him as though offering its loyalty.
Kent opened his eyes, his pupils glowing faintly with golden light. He reached out, his hand steady, and grasped the unified page.
As his fingers touched it, a flood of knowledge poured into him, overwhelming and exhilarating. For a moment, he felt as though he were one with the universe, understanding not just poison but the very essence of creation and destruction.
With the page in hand, Kent whispered, “The second part of poison tone is complete. Only the last part remaining.”
The chamber fell silent, the golden aura dissipating into the air like morning mist. Kent’s companions, waiting outside the room, could feel the shift. Gunji Zing, leaning against a pillar, perked up. “It seems to be over,” she murmured.
Fatty, who had been chewing on a spirit fruit, looked up. “Over? What’s over? Did master finally decide to stop glowing like a festival lantern?”
Gunji shot him a glare. “Show some respect, idiot. You have no idea what’s happening in there.”
Inside the chamber, Kentrubbed his hands, the unified Poison Tome page now safely tucked into his robes.
He glanced down at his hands, flexing his fingers. “If the Poison God were here, I’d thank him. But alas, he must have a motive behind giving me this. Anyway, it’s better to complete the last part now before meeting the storm god. Really can’t trust any of these gods and their politics.”
Kent taking lotus position opened the last part of the poison tome.
Unlike first two parts, the third part is very slim with few pages and there are only 13 poisons inside. But each of these poisons can take down the world. Even gods needs to be treated if they infected with these poisons.
