Chapter 667 Ileyana

Divine Deity Sect…

Ileyana, the vice-lease of the wind fan faction stepped through the gates of deity sect, her fingers tightening around the hilt of her fan blade.

The mark of the Wind Fan faction glimmered faintly on the back of her left hand, a swirling sigil that marked her allegiance. Hiding her position, she entered in the divine deity sect like a common soldier.

She had come far enough to reach the fabled island sect. The journey had hardened her, but standing at the heart of such power, Ileyana could feel the weight of something far greater pressing down on her spirit.

Guards flanked the entrance, their faces obscured beneath silver helms, their eyes as cold as steel. They glanced at her mark and nodded silently, allowing her to pass without challenge.

She followed the crowd and got separated into different courtyards.

The interior courtyard was vast, stretching endlessly in every direction. Streams of robed figures moved in careful synchronicity, all bearing weapon symbols similar to hers. Some held the mark of the sword, others the Iron Claw and some Spear. Each belonged to a faction, but none spoke openly. This was a place of silence and intent.

Ileyana’s eyes flicked to a hooded figure walking beside her. “First time?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. The figure turned, revealing a pale-faced boy barely older than sixteen.

He nodded, swallowing nervously. “I heard they separate us by realm once inside. You think it’s true?”

Ileyana smirked. “True or not, we’re here now. Whatever happens, hold tight to your weapon symbol. It’s the only thing keeping you alive.”

Before the boy could respond, a horn blared from the temple steps ahead. A wave of energy pulsed through the crowd, and dozens of sect disciples moved forward, standing atop golden platforms that hovered like clouds.

One of the disciples, a stern woman clad in silver and green robes, raised her staff high. “Prepare for teleportation! All who bear the mark of wind fan, step forward. The Seventh Realm awaits!”

Ileyana’s heart quickened. This was it. The powerful Seventh Realm set as target by Madam Clark.

The crowd shifted as hundreds stepped forward, their weapon marks glowing brighter with each step. Ileyana followed, her own mark blazing.

With a big flash, the courtyard faded, and the cold, damp air of underground lair came in her vision. She landed softly on stone, blinking to adjust to the dim light.

Ileyana appeared at the massive inter-realm teleportation gate set by Kent.

The gate was a marvel, constructed from mana stone bed and veined with crystalline runes that shimmered with Kent’s handiwork.

The forbidden Dragon Lord City’s loomed above, a reminder of Kent’s hardwork.

Ileyana stepped out of the teleportation circle, inhaling sharply as her body felt weightless.

The underground lair stretched before her—a vast cavern lined with flickering torches and winding tunnels.

Stunted Beastmen servants scurried between towering stacks of weapons, crystals, and mechanical constructs. The lair pulsed with activity as everyone prepared big war weapons.

“Welcome to the frontlines,” a gruff voice echoed. Ileyana turned to see an older mage, his beard singed and robes stained with dirt. He held a hammer in one hand, and a half-forged spear in the other. “Wind Fan faction, huh? We need more like you.”

Ileyana saluted, bowing slightly. “I’m here to fight. Assign me as you see fit.”

The old mage chuckled darkly. “Fight? You’ll have your chance soon enough. Until then, you work.” He gestured to a row of tables where mages moldong glowing weapons into sheets of metal. Others whispered incantations over piles of enchanted arrows.

Ileyana nodded, stepping toward the tables.

Nine realms association…

The grand hall of the Nine Realms Court was filled with all ministers and chief administrators.

Jason Mama, head of the court, sat brooding on his high-backed chair, his fingers rhythmically tapping against the armrest.

The silence was shattered by the hurried footsteps of a scout entering the hall, his cloak billowing behind him. The scout fell to one knee, head bowed.

“My Lord Jason! Urgent news!” he gasped.

Jason’s cold gaze locked onto the man. “Speak.”

“The three spies sent to the Divine Deity Sect on the blue planet… they’re dead. Executed at the gate.”

Jason’s hand tightened around the glass of wine he was holding. With a sudden, violent motion, he hurled it across the hall. The glass shattered against the marble floor, echoing like thunder.

“Who killed them?!” Jason’s voice roared through the hall, making even the guards near the door flinch.

The scout hesitated, sweat forming on his brow. “My Lord… we are still searching for the culprit.”

Jason’s eyes narrowed dangerously. “That dog, Alaric, where is he? He should have stopped this. Where is he?”

The scout lowered his gaze. “Alaric is also found dead, my Lord.”

Jason froze, the color draining from his face. For a moment, he simply stared at the scout, as if hoping he had misheard. “What did you say?”

“We found the Alaric dead body on top of a mountain near the divine deity sect, My Lord.”

Jason sank into his chair, his hands trembling slightly as they gripped the armrests. “Alaric… dead? That fool held the entire blue planet’s wizard association under his palm. Who would dare kill him there?”

Silence lingered before Jason slowly leaned forward, rubbing his chin. His mind raced, piecing together fragments of information.

“Something is stirring within the Divine Deity Sect,” Jason murmured, more to himself than to the scout. “Could it be… is Madam Clark alive there?”

He snapped his fingers, summoning a nearby minister. “Prepare the teleportation gate. I’m going to the blue planet.”

The minister, an elderly man with a long silver beard, immediately stepped forward and bowed deeply. “My Lord, forgive me, but I must advise against this.”

Jason’s brow furrowed. “Advise against it? I am half-sovereign, head of the Nine Realms Court! Who in the blue planet can challenge me?”

The minister’s eyes flickered with unease. “With all due respect, my Lord… Alaric was the head of the blue planet wizard association. He was no ordinary magus. If even he could not survive, there may be forces at play that caution must precede bravery.”

Jason clenched his jaw, his pride flaring. “Are you suggesting I cower in fear?”

The minister held his ground, lowering his voice to a hushed tone. “I suggest, my Lord, that we gather the other realm leaders. If there is indeed danger lurking, confronting it with the full strength of the Nine Realms will show dominance—not weakness.”

Jason’s glare softened slightly. He leaned back in his chair, considering the minister’s words.

After a tense moment, he gave a curt nod. “You may have a point. Summon the heads of the Nine Realms immediately. I want them here by dawn.”

The minister bowed deeply. “Yes, my Lord.”

Jason turned back to the scout, his expression hardening. “Send word to the blue planet wizard association. I want them to know that the Nine Realms Court is coming. And tell them to find out the cause of Alaric death before our arrival.”

The scout rose, bowing swiftly. “At once, my Lord.” He hurried out of the hall, leaving Jason alone with his thoughts.

Jason’s fingers drummed against the armrest again, but this time with restrained anticipation. “Madam Clark… if you truly are alive,” he whispered, “then this game is far from over. But this time, I will put a final full stop to your life.”
